I remember seeing a video recently where a 15 year old boy was taken into custody because he said he wanted to shoot up his school mates, while playing an online game. His mother begged and said he was joking and it is just a game and I remember the officer in the video specifically saying that even though he made the threat in a gaming forum they had to take it seriously. So how can a video like this be swept under the rug? Double standards are amazing.

I’d be interested to hear how they feel about a production scheduled for early next year in Washington DC of the musical Assassins. It’s about the motivations of all of the attempted and successful assassinations of presidents from Lincoln to Reagan. Will they think that may incite violence especially so close to the elections and with the impeachment drama? It had an interesting history of previous productions. And it has been well received before. They will probably talk about it closer to the actual production.
