One thing Meghan said continues to annoy me cause I keep hearing it. She said "Investigation of Impeachment doesn't mean Impeachment. At some point, this will go to the Senate." NO! NO! NO! That isn't true. If the house votes to impeach, the president IS impeached. It is only up to the Senate as to whether to convict on impeachment grounds. But that doesn't invalidate the impeachment.
You are wrong, she was right. A president is not impeached UNTIL the house passes a resolution to send the potus to the senate for trial to possibly be removed. That has not happened yet so it is still an investigation of impeachment and not impeachment itself, yet.
@@dwolfg - Her comments indicated she meant that a president isn't impeached until the Senate votes on it. She says that the president isn't impeached and then goes on to talk about the Senate. Of course the president isn't impeached until he's actually impeached... but Meghans comments in context were wrong.
@@rekcusdoo No it does not indicate she meant anything but the simple statements she made. Anything else is you adding your own biased inferences into intent. The first statement is an indisputable fact. There is a difference between an investigation and a charge(impeachment). The second is a prediction based on all available information. People should employ the kiss method more often(keep it simple, silly)
@@dwolfg - She SPECIFICALLY said that an impeachment investigation doesn't mean impeachment and then went directly into speaking about Senate stopping it. Those are the "simple statements" she meant...and therefore that is what it indicates.

It is the same difference between the police investigating you and arresting you. Then, again, back in reality the senate is going to acquit trump,once the house passes articles, 99.999999% of the time.

Impeachment is same as Indicted. What the Senate does is try him to determine punishment. But, he remains an Indicted President forever!
McCain warns that this situation 'will get worse'. Perhaps in a way that is similar to surgery or chemotherapy: you feel okay before the treatment/surgery and much worse immediately after the treatment/surgery, but without that painful, necessary treatment the patient has no chance of survival.
