Kobe's game was definitely modeled after MJ, he shot more outside shots partially because the game was moving in that direction and also because he wasn't the next level athlete that MJ was. Not having the first step of Jordan nor the huge hands to help control the ball forced him to shoot much more outside/contested shots.
What are you talking about? Kobe was on Jordan's athletic level. He has an incredible first step. Explosive at the rim. The difference between the two is that Kobe applied pressure on other teams at all levels of the court and on all sides.
@@kevoncox Just going to address your questions and assertions as you listed them. 1. What I am talking about is that although Kobe was an elite caliber athlete MJ was a superior athlete we have easy metrics to look at for this information. Kobe Bryant had a 38 inch vertical leap very good however it is 10 inches lower than MJs recorded vertical leap of 48inches. Kobe was recorded as running the 40 yard dash at 4.3 seconds a very fast time however MJ was recorded as a freshman at UNC at 4.2 so although 40 yard dash isn't a perfect measurement of first step its the closest we have. In both categories Kobe was excellent MJ was just simply a superior athlete. I am honestly surprised to get an objection to that rather mundain statement. 2. The assertion of applying pressure on other teams is rather ambiguous so not exactly sure what you are suggesting. I can say Kobe was a less efficient scorer and that MJ was the superior defender at least according to stats and accolades. I dont feel like listing them all but I can if you like. So I'm curious what you mean by "applied pressure on other teams at all levels of the court and on all sides". If you can clarify that we can discuss that point's validity.

you ever seen the last dance? the documentary about michael jordan and the bulls last season together, it's amazing and i think it would give you good insight into how good the rest of the team was and how he elevated them to the level they got to.
“It seemed like even Jordan had some space between him and the person.” He did. Nobody talks about it, but the illegal defense rule back then made it way easier to iso and beat your man one on one. This was before they allowed zone defenses in the NBA. It was harder to score in Kobe’s era than in Jordan’s. All you have to do is look up team average ppg. Teams scored a lot less points per game and shot a lower fg% percentage.
Little known fact. If I’m not mistaken GP led the nation in scoring his final year. And the Jordan defense video you did. The first play when you said “Oh attached”, that’s Hersey Hawkins who also led the nation in scoring.
Those vids you mention are whack lol. The same overrated plays shown over and over again that everybody has already seen and aren't even his best plays. This vid was much better than those. Shows off more of his game.
You would enjoy watching craziest stories ever told by nba players. My favorite is the one where Jordan dissed Kobe and then the next time they played he proceeded to drop 49 on Jordan in the first half
That game against the mavs he outscored them in 3 quarters after marc cuban said the lakers should amnesty him he screamed “amnesty that” at the end of the 3rd
One they didn't show was two consecutive outside shots to extend and win the game in Portland against one-time Laker Ruben Paterson, who was calling himself "The Kobe Stopper" (Haha!)....he was all over him but Kobe flushed both shots! maybe that will be in the other part.
After you finish this kobe season vid you should react to "Kobe ULTIMATE Career Mixtape" Then do... "Kobe Bryant 9 straight games 40 pts or more" or "Kobe Bryant's 4-Game Streak of 50+ Points Scored"
One game Jordan told Kobe... "You can never fill these shoes!" Kobe didn't speak to anyone for 2 weeks until he played Jordan again and proceeded to drop 50. Hardest worker in the NBA. Jordan the GOAT. Don't get it twisted. Lol
He dropped 55 on the Wizards and MJ. He had 42 at half time. The torch was officially passed. MJ was older but that's how a young lion is supposed to take the torch from the old lion.

He is the reason why the 3 pointer is so up there now.
Please tell me you realized he outscored the whole Mavericks team after 3 qtrs... 62-61. Didn't even play the 4th
Love the videos. I just subbed like a few weeks ago but I think you should look at these guys career highlights not just their best seasons. Cuz honestly it don’t be doing some of them justice
Thank you 🙏
RIP Kobe Bryant... The GOAT!!!... Respect!!!...
Kobe was unguardable, almost all of his shots were difficult with the defense on top of him blocking his face and yet he was a superstar.
Also Kobe is arguably the greatest difficult jump shot maker in NBA history he took and made more difficult jump shots than anyone else
He also missed more shots than anyone else. "Difficult shots" are just "bad shots." Kobe is a very inefficient shooter that only sometimes goes on hot streaks. 44% field goal average. 40% playoff Field Goal average
Exactly ‼️ Haters want to act like Kobe couldn’t shoot and talk about his efficiency. He was efficient went it counted most. Like coach Popavich said.." Kobe was unstoppable "!
@@littletiffany9089 Made up stats, lol just assuming because you're living off false made up narratives. But hey atleast you exposed ur lack of basketball iq to everybody who sees your comment.
Lebron is not even at kobes level and they compare lebum to mj no sense.💀💀💀💀💀
Let’s not be childish
Fact
Exactly ‼️💯
Yo gotta react to TMac also.
Kobe, TMac and AI were 🔥🔥🔥🔥 in the 2000s!
Yea, people saying you need to check the younger Kobe… I agree.. he beasting when he was younger
This the closest to Jordan
It seems like alot of lebron fans haven't seen footage of the other greats. I changed my little brother's mind on who the goat is just from jordans top 50 plays video😂
Def drop part 2
The Lakers vs Dallas highlights around the 5 minute mark is footage from when Kobe had 62 points in only 3 quarters. He sat out the entire 4th quarter.
you ever seen the last dance? the documentary about michael jordan and the bulls last season together, it's amazing and i think it would give you good insight into how good the rest of the team was and how he elevated them to the level they got to.
Great observation. Kobe had these scoring binges when the game was WAY slowed down. No team could stop him those years.
@@MrEliasdl facts.
I think his 100 best plays are better because it shows you what kind of bounce that man really had but yeah do part 2
Kobe is best to watch on the road
When did you start watching basketball? Anyways, you need to watch that legendary 81 pt game from that season.
Watch the only point guard defensive player of the year Gary Payton and then Shawn Kemp the original lob city 💯
Little known fact. If I’m not mistaken GP led the nation in scoring his final year. And the Jordan defense video you did. The first play when you said “Oh attached”, that’s Hersey Hawkins who also led the nation in scoring.
my fav player ever and prob best scorer ever with being tied with MJ for most 1st team all defenses
PLEASE do the mixtape!
Do the mix tape bro 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Fire! Don’t pick a whack video bro lol do his top 100 plays or his all 36 game winners video. Or his mixtape.
IKR I don't know who the heck recommends these videos to him. Do NBA's official mixtape of Kobe.
czcams.com/video/8rSwfGqoSqI/video.html
czcams.com/video/BaTd_F2yIrU/video.html NBA's mixtape is better than any fanmade video.
Greatest tough shot maker ever.
Jason Williams. White chocolate. Best co's of all time. No exaggeration.
Good video bro. You should react to Vince Carter highlights when you get a chance
That game against the mavs he outscored them in 3 quarters after marc cuban said the lakers should amnesty him he screamed “amnesty that” at the end of the 3rd
Kobe is the best HARD shot maker in NBA HISTORY, hands down
One they didn't show was two consecutive outside shots to extend and win the game in Portland against one-time Laker Ruben Paterson, who was calling himself "The Kobe Stopper" (Haha!)....he was all over him but Kobe flushed both shots! maybe that will be in the other part.
hardest shot per shot ever
He didn't even realize Kobe scored 62 points in three quarters and he was watching the highlights of one game for over 10 straight highlights.
Before I watch it.. Just wanna say thx for watching Kobe! Now I'm ready to bug out to your reactions... Let's get it!
Kobe is a killer. You should check out his 81 point game.
2nd best ever no disrespect r.i.p love u always 8 - 24
After you finish this kobe season vid you should react to "Kobe ULTIMATE Career Mixtape"
Then do...
"Kobe Bryant 9 straight games 40 pts or more" or "Kobe Bryant's 4-Game Streak of 50+ Points Scored"
Watch and see how much he was MJ… why MJ was the goat..
KOBE LOOKED UP TO JORDAN AND JORDAN EVEN SHARED WITH KOBE ON HOW TO PLAY.THEY WERE GOOD FRIENDS.
You gotta do the Kobe Ultimate mixtape by the NBA bro
One game Jordan told Kobe... "You can never fill these shoes!" Kobe didn't speak to anyone for 2 weeks until he played Jordan again and proceeded to drop 50. Hardest worker in the NBA. Jordan the GOAT. Don't get it twisted. Lol
He dropped 55 on the Wizards and MJ. He had 42 at half time. The torch was officially passed. MJ was older but that's how a young lion is supposed to take the torch from the old lion.
Bro after you’ve watched Kobe’s mixtapes you got to react to “ stories about kobe Bryant’s work ethic “ this shit this man would do to prepare for games and literally go in to take the other teams head off
Did you ever end up doing part 2
I feel so old watchin him react to shit i seen in real life😩
00:50 kobe had EVERY shot
*KOBE IS LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN JORDAN AND REGGIE MILLER*
If you doing Kobe season highlights you gotta do his 2003 season in particular thank me later
Kobe is that corvette that refuses to go back to a dealer after leaving the lot. In other words you better catch me before I go or else you're not stopping me.
It’s about a lot of ooo my god!
Kobe got Jordan's moves
That’s was 62 points through 3 qtrs he didn’t get to play the 4th at all!!!!
7:49 he's on the same team as he was earlier 🤣
Oh shit. Peace and blessings from rozzelless ferry! Lakeview in the house! the southwest of The Queen city is in the building! ( I didn't know). Young sir make Tracey McGrady, Kobe and Allen iverson a series like you did Jordan its honestly the only way to comprehend just how bad these boys were. Speaking of jordan his predecessors to the dunk were julius erving ( dr J) and also from NC David Thompson from nc state ( top of the board hops) so far as the Charlotte Hornets go peep Barrington davis ( nasty). Yo keep the air fresher like you did for tracey mcgrady for the nasty stuff coming young sir that was lit.
"Southern Bboy respectfully since 83 repping Hip Hop and Boulevard homes projects nicely to the present"
I've been watching some people react to Kobe highlights and this is the 2nd time someone has said they didn't know Kobe could shoot
