New UPDATE REVEALED About Michael Schumacher's Health!

  • ■ Michael Schumacher, the 7-time world champion, is definitely a name that doesn’t need further introduction in the sport. After winning two championships with Benetton and five with Ferrari, many feel like he had a lot more to offer to the sport with all the knowledge and experience he had, but the tragic accident in the French Alps has deprived him and his family of a beautiful life. Although Schumacher is still alive, the news that arrived from the closest circles of his family-his brother Ralf included-is not very encouraging, and the possibility that we may never see a similar version of Schumacher is very viable.

My brother suffered a similar basilar skull fracture in a mountain bike crash the same year as Michael's accident. He lost his ability to hear, walk, swallow, speak and breathe on his own, and is blind in one eye. He has a custom built recumbent tricycle he uses to stimulate his brain and get some exercise with an activity he loves and knows well. He has regained the ability to sign with one hand to slowly spell words, and can now write somewhat legibly but slowly on a white board. He is confined to a wheelchair and breathes through a tracheal tube and ventilator, and is supplied nutrition through a feeding pump. He also now has an intellect similar to a 12 year old. Luckily he is happy and positive about life.
From the sound of things, Michael is in considerably worse condition than this and I can see why his family have kept him out of the limelight, but I would still like to see him again some day, just as I love seeing my brother.

I had worked with people with similar accidents. They could walk and talk to some level, but described as not comparable to their prior character from their families. The fact that we didn’t have even some short videos from him, where he said a few words he been trained for, tells me everything about his condition. It must be far from anything. All his family members describe it crying as „different“, which tells me much more… I bet he’s laying down incontinent, making frantic repeated noises and needs to be fed, if lucky trough his mouth. By the way a state my family hopefully never shared with the whole world. The longer we had heard nothing from him, the more I lost hope about his recovery, especially cause I know about the progress our patients did in the first years and I know some who the accident had happened a longer time ago. The most progress happen in the first months and years. Later it decrease more and more - unfortunately. And all of this from someone who have the best therapists and doctors of the world make this even more sad.

The reason he could walk immediately after the accident is because the main brain damage came later when subsequent blood clots formed and starved his brain of oxygen long enough to destroy much of it. The brain is not like a solid cauliflower, it actually has the texture of blancmange or gelatine, so imagine dashing a blancmange against a rock, and you can see there is no way to repair the damage. It is very sad, especially if he is fully aware and conscious of his condition, whilst being paralysed and unable to speak. Best wishes to him anyway.

I can understand why his family might want to keep the press from hounding them, but I think Schumacher's fans deserve better than 10 years of being pushed away and ignored. Scumacher had, and still has, one of the biggest and most loyal fanbases in the sport who supported him throughout his career and I think they deserve better even if it was simply a bulletin now and again.
The family would be unlikely to be able to look after him in the way they are without those fans buying the vast quantities of merchandise and race tickets etc. that all contributed to the wealth they now have. It's shocking they way they are being treated by the family.

I think it's pretty obvious that Michael is never going to recover.....no matter how much his family shield him and pretend he might be getting better, IMO the truth is they are shielding him because he's in a vegetative state and will never return to the man he was. Tragic that even Ralf has been shut out by them....his own brother....it's a very weird situation indeed. His wife seems uber secretive and controlling.....and just invites speculation....like mine.

You would think if they're trying to stimulate his brain by putting him in a Mercedes-Benz. Then why not use the Oculus or some sort of virtual reality system to let him re live a race. Or even just the audio sounds of an F1. The simulators are so darn real you'd think that maybe even reliving one of his races somehow could spark thought

Errrr... quick pronunciation note: the German publication you refer to on occasion in this report is pronounced to rhyme with 'billed', and has nothing to do with 'bile'.
I am one of those who really dislike when a single driver dominates, and, just as I don't like Verstappen now, and in the past Hamilton and, of course, none too fond of Schumacher, so I was very glad when he announced his retirement. But it was Michael the racer I disliked, not Michael the human being, so I was greatly saddened when I heard about his accident, and hearing your report saddens me even more.
I wish Michael and his family all the best.

    • @eddherring4972

Yes as in built. As a Hakkenite I was upset at Schumacher’s skill I was however shocked by his Silverstone accident, having lost my all time F1 hero Senna, live on the BBC a few years earlier. I know there are masses of motorsport crash vids available on multiple platforms but ever since Ratzenberger, Senna, Baricello and Lehto on that awful weekend for F1 I’ve hated seeing motorsport competitors enduring high speed accidents. I also realised by interviews with Murray Walker and clips of him outside of a F1 car, even if it’s going around the circuit with DC or Martin Brundle then you realise how much of a nice guy he actually is. I hope Michael recovers as best he can, I respect his privacy and I must say that mocking up an aged Michael Schumacher for a thumbnail I do find disrespectful. However the content was interesting and well presented.

Nothing is impossible, our God is a God of the impossible, He still heals, and does miracles, we speak life into Michael's mind, emotions, and brain in Jesus's name. Restoration of every vessel, every tissue of his brain in Jesus' name. We cover him with the blood of Jesus for perfect healing. For our God can, He said it, I believe it, and that settles it. Thank You, Lord

By the very fact that MS has been hidden away for 10 years with zero news of his condition, one can say with 100% accuracy he is in a PVS and there will never ever be any sighting or meaningful news of MS. In all intents and purposes, MS is hurtling around the big racetrack in the sky to the deafening cheers of past racing drivers and fans spurring him on. If you don't believe me, cock your ear and listen...can you hear the roar of the engines, the crowd going mad, and Murry Walker giving his finest commentary?... "So this being Michael Schumacher's 10th race in his 151st year in F1."...
