Hi
Hi
E
Nice april fools joke
think i have this
RCE is so in love with road construction that he forgets all about the commute.
"everything takes so long!"
Does he forget or does he do it on purpose?
Strange how he’s supposedly an engineer, but he builds so many unnecessary roads for aesthetics, and took so long to find out the most efficient way to loop trains around.
@@ijnebula4888 Cause its a game and its fun to do outlandish builds
@@ijnebula4888 because it's a game and he does things for shit and giggles here.
Matt, as you can see in 12:22 the nanotubes are stacking up meaning you built way to many nanotube factories for those four neural processor factories
But he will need a lot more of those neuro processor factories. I had about 60 to 80. Can't remember right now.
Nanotubes are produced in 2 every 50 seconds and you for neural processors you need 3 every 90 seconds
So you can actually have more neutral processors than nanotube factories
In the same problem. But I'm losing population right now because of traffic jams I'm trying to figure out what to do there
@@kevinhamilton9071 building in one large city starts getting a problem later on. My last try was to build a double 3lane super fast highway ring around the town, but traffic started collapsing to the end of the game. My next try will be splitting up the city into maybe 3 or 4 areas, but also with super high speed connection. Traffic in industrial area was much worse. Was tinkering with a small bit of one way, but traffic clogged up endless.
@@spedi6721 mine is the problem of residential. I tried traffic different routes 1 ways I haven't used trains but I might do a new city and make different residential areas
“For some reason they just wanna drive” *5 sec earlier, a giant train maze is shown*
Yes we want to see traffic light management haha... honestly I can't get enough of this series
Totally agreeing 👌
Him: “Wheres all my steel!?!”
Looks at the throw up of roads and tracks: “yeah I stand by that” 😂😂
Sometimes I wonder if RCE is just Blue’s Clues with engineering.
Love how he is selecting all these buildings with "storage output full" and stating he needs to build more of them before building the neural processors factories.
I love the silly, "scenic" roads and the refusal to make them more efficient once placed =D
You also may want to check your math(s) for the neural processor facilities.
16:40 I believe you can put everything back up to 100% production.
And one more heads up, add more trains, they are taking too long to deliver anything at around. Also, you connect to plant to the carbon factory, so no one is using the trains.
Traffic, light might do the trick to solve you massive traffic jam from every direction in and out of the city.
I think the problem with adding more train is just how much steel he's going to need, especially going by his pass records.
But he did spawn in 1000+ train without using any steel. Well, it did cause a huge frame lag.
I absolutely love this series, even if Matt has built architect inspired railways and highways that are overly complicated and zig zaggy just for looks 🤔 lol and has used up all his steel reserves, if he used all those rss for a better road network he wouldn't have so many traffic jams. P.s. bring back the paddy plushie!!!! I didn't get a chance to get one last time
They are NOT just for looks. They are very clearly extremely efficient and necessary. Without those roads, all of society would fall apart.
lol
Electrical engineer here: Traffic is a very big thing and complicated because of the tons of factories. I played it through 2 times and ended up needing 10k citizens to get it decently efficient taking advantage of the building bonuses. You have A LOT of work ahead! Enjoy :)
Around 10k is my experience as well.
RCE:"Hmm the outgoing storage of electronics is full..."
Also RCE:" Let's build more electronics" xD
You don't need so much factories for home robots, they are produced in 10packs, so your demand should fill up pretty fast. Also check the demand on the production screen, you will know if you are producing enough computers for instance ;)
Hope you keep up the series till the end!
i spent hours working on traffic lights on a single junction to be in time with everything else. the traffic flow was so hight, it was a nightmare to find a balance for good efficiency. but i made it work and i am so happy. warning, if you upgrade the road with traffic lights on, you have to put the traffic lights back on. the timings fortunately stay, but you have to select which directions are going again. hopefully the devs will fix that, because that's frustrating.
If I download this, I will get literally nothing else done. This twenty-minute fix now and then is good, so thank you 😁
I suggest to research "Particle Filter" so that you can individually produce Oxygen and Carbon, and twice as faster (Atmosphere Processor took 16 s while Oxygen Processor and Carbon Processor only use 8 s), it'll be helpful a lot for the Steel Mill and Nanotubes Factory, especially.
definitely wanna see some traffic management. gotta remember we're engineers who appreciate other fields of engineering we're not as exposed too lol
At 16:40 in the production overview you can also check whether you your production queues are balanced (i.e. if you did the math right....). There you see for the nanotubes a production of 72.6 (whatever the unit) and a demand of 8.5. So your neural processor factories dont nearly use up all the educts you produce and you can just put in many more ;)
Also its mayb worth checking all the ressources where the production does not meet the demand (orange numbers) to avoid bad surprises of ressource shortage...
Very important info!
RCE and let's game it out joint project would be pure chaos. 10/10 would watch
Brilliant. My second favorite series of RCS returns. But what about...Timberborners??
Can we just appreciate how good matt is at making incredibly efficient roads and train tracks
Hi Matt, love this series!
13:50 Thats it!: Space Cities Skylines confirmed :) But where are the roundabouts?, people move to space and forget the single best traffic gridlock reducer on earth :)
You are channelling Biffa now that there are traffic lights to tweak. I have heard if you say "roundabout" three times he will appear and fix your city/factory/planet.
As someone who found your channel through the Mini Motorways series, I absolutely want to see more traffic management content. That's far more engineery than basic A to B to C supply chain logistics.
Gwaggons asking for directions.
Local: yeah just go to north on left nut, up and around 69 shaft street, right into right nut lane and then it’s the third house on the left.
Am I the only one who would be interested in seeing RCE playing a game like this properly? Feels like these city builder games always end up in chaos which is very funny, but would be cool to see what he could do
15:04 "Do you guys wanna see that?" Absolutely without a doubt yes I'd watch that shit on repeat
I had an actual nightmare last night, where I was in a car with the love of my life, and the car went off a massive clif, I was able to jump out in time, and he was still alive, but there was 0 way to save him because where I was, there was no way to get out. I watched one of your traffic videos last night... I blame youuuuuuUuUUUUuU, not really tho
I love how he’s complaining about how long everything takes, but at the same time uses up all his resources building roads and railways that make shipping take forever.
I'd love for you to stream the traffic management of this city
Infraspace + RCE = instant view + 👍
I hope other people like this series as much as I do!
One of my favorite things is coming home from school and seeing that one an RCE video has come up!
I got covid yesterday and these videos are the only thing making me happy
That sucks the fact that you get coivd 19
Watching traffic get better and the lights is really interesting and satisfying to me.
Definitely do the ten hour G-Wagon vid. I'm glad to see Infraspace again!
No way, my 3 favorite games to see on this channel, all uploaded back to back to back within 3 days! Can we make it 4 and get a Minecraft video tomorrow? Only time will tell...
Always a lot of fun watching your videos! Seems like you did the math with the absolute product count though, not the production rate, so you could probably just build a whole lot more neural processor factories. Try recalculating while taking the production time into account
I for one definitely want to watch traffic modeling... Couldn't be worse than the traffic monitoring of the midwest cities, cause hot damn do we suffer through bullshit lights.
Part of what interests me in your vids are the fact you have a background in a profession I know nothing about, so when you use your knowledge in games like this I find it fascinating. Do it more please.
Watched this while upgrading my laptop to windows 11! Keep up the great work!
This is what I imagine what the engineers' thought process at my city are.
My dad was a traffic engineer. I haven't added the street lights to my game yet. Thank you for another Infraspace video.
As someone obsessed with high speed rails I am really excited to see those.
P.S. I live in the US and we don't believe in mass transportation, apparently, so I live vicariously through my city builders. My cities:skylines cities are littered with excessive monorail systems.
Yes please go crazy tweaking the intersections! It's my favorite thing to do in cities skylines
"This looks like a trumpet." *Begins humming the beginning of clocks by Coldplay* "that's a trumpet noise."
I love this series can you please make more of this series more regularly
0:33 omg the sound 🤣 compliments to the editor for that little detail
More traffic management part of this game please, I could watch a whole episode on it !
The G-wagon bit never gets old. Please make a 10 hour version😩
WOOOOO MORE INFRASPACE this is my 3rd fav series, after Timberborners and Engitopia
I know I am very late to these videos but I love how he constantly forgets he has two home appliance locations and two computer locations and always focuses on the smaller one xD
One of my favorite series on channel
i want to see A LOT of this series, the more the better so please do the lights too if it means you’ll do this series more 🥺
This game is a pretty interesting mix of Factorio and City Skylines
Infraearth and Infraspace, my favorite series
"Look at all these over-producing factories! I'm gonna tripple their already excessive production so that I can add more neural factories, despite it being clear as day that it's the nanotubes that are the actual chokepoint keeping us from just producing more neurals!" Ohhh RCE...
Yes I want to see you go through and perfectly model all the traffic lights.
From all your videos Timberborn and INFRA are my fav ❤️❤️ . Love to hear your voice.😊
I binge watched all these videos and now this is the only thing I look forward to in my week 😭
Matt, you could replace the concrete six lane roads in the residential area with highways. Since you made the roads in a grid pattern, the houses don't need to connect to the six lanes, they have the smaller roads that would connect to the six lanes
The architects are steeling mat’s blueprints for the spaghetti junction
Try alternating strips of electronic parts and the blue building, sandwiching the blue buildings between strips of the green. It might be less efficient for the road/supply system, but +64% (it LOOKED like 4 on each side was possible, but I am not sure) proficiency on each of the blue buildings would be HUGE. I am not certain it would be more efficient, but my Logistical Network Autism Sense is tingling enough to be worth testing it. Especially as the bottleneck seems to be on the output, not the input of raw materials.
"I feel the screens are too low...". Reminds me of the time I did a halftime show for a short-lived arena football league (not soccer) once. No lie, 90% of the kicks from the defensive side hit the screen (or the underside of it). Didn't bother me though, I got paid well to watch a crappy game, in a place SO not designed for it! We couldn't use small 25 foot pyro charges because 'it might damage the screens'...but the football hitting it numerous times was okay I guess...
I still think it’s hilarious that foreigners think that 18:37 is all there is to San Fran lol
this vpn ad ... genius... "i like to describe them as architects" killed me 😅
5:09 Ahh, yes... The docking tube
lane mathematics and traffic managing is part of city planning and you know the Architects they hire
PLEASE CAN WE SEE THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS I love traffic management like in cities skylines, rlly satisfying too :)
You should use the grid mode for building. It avoids getting this closely not fitting problems and looks better aswell.
Thank you for another vid highly appreciated mate
I just wanted to pop in and say I've just found you last week and I've probably watched 50 of your videos. You're very entertaining! Thanks for the laughs and I'm excited to keep watching.
@2:43 you just know I had to do the proper response. "General Kenobi, you are a bold one"
RCE there are yield signs and stuff to that help a bunch
Nice 👍
Ur first
Awesome! And yes I do want to see you fixing the traffic lights hehe
Great stuff, i only watch 3 gaming channels, (civvie, gman and you) its the prefect balance of weirdness. G'day from Australia!
I love the traffic stuff please doo more
I missed this series ngl I was thinking about it when I saw that Mars Video from a few days ago
"is it production problem or the traffic problem?" Well, production overview menu is there to tell you something 👍🏻
See if Biffa wants a different city builder to try and fix the traffic on :D
Yesss infraspace at least, always waiting for this and timberborner
Almost said "Peace love and Architects" there at the end!
'The mine itched the left nut too much' I lost it😂😂
Legit was watching the last video in the series going “it’s been 2 weeks, when’s the next one coming out.” Prayers answered
Yes Mr Engineer. TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT DETAIL PLZ 🇬🇧
Yes make all your traffic fixes with the lights or anything else you will need it
Do the traffic modelling, only architects ignore traffic!
Showing off the trafic light would be fun
This city is incredibly well engineered!
Add that to your reviews…
You can actually duplicate concrete and steel by putting down a strip of the cheapest road then upgrading it to the most expensive road with a bit more concrete and then demolishing it. The game gives you the resources of the upgraded road and you dont have to spend as much making it
I know you love to build all the weird roads and railways but if you streamline them it won’t take nearly as long for the goods to reach the habitats. Love the videos tho keep it up.
I’d love to see all the lights set up optimally and the process
Matt is his own greatest enemy in this game, making ridiculous efficient infrastructure
Would like to make this game a traffic management episode
Would love to see stop light stuff!
Bro you the best you make my Day thanks
Pls continue this game pls
Loving this series
Yes please, as a traffic engineer in study I would like you to design those traffics.
Hello engineering is pog especially when it’s unorganized engineers
Matt you need way more nueral procesor factories couse all the nanotube factories are full just put like 20 new nueral procesor factories
Amazing ❤️❤️
Great job ❤️❤️
So good ❤️❤️
Nice video ❤️❤️
