He does say all of the residential buildings, and residential buildings are the name given to level 4 buildings. So he’s basically saying ‘all level 4 buildings are level 4 buildings’.
As someone who has over 100 hours in this game. I recommend the "everyone can go where they want" approach to intersections
I tried using the lights and traffic manager and well found out that the computer does a better job at it then me.
The problem is with the car AI, I had to rework the interchanges so many times, to finally decide thatsingle lane superhighway is the optimal choice. Infraspace really needs better traffic simulation for being a traffic simulator game...

I am not in either team engineer nor team architect, I believe in equality and teamwork. If engineers and architects worked together, they could create a society that is efficient and looks good. And also if I’m not in either faction I can watch the carnage

@solrace A friend of my dad‘s an engineer. Can confirm the hatred of architects. (At least in Central Europe)
@@solrace9624 looking it up, the sterotype seems to be architects hand engineers pretty looking building that are not structurally sound at all and engineers would design a building that is tough of nails but hideously unpleasant generally speaking.

Hey I tried to fix my colony in infra. What I ended up doing is making roads straight or right turns only or in british left turns only so there is limited cross traffic. Then again I did not have traffic lights at the time haha.

I'd rebuild the residential area so it was fed through one way roads. Nothing ever comes out anyway.
Also possibly have a gigantic 6 lane ring road for resources that gets feed by each manufacturing sector. That way there's no more traffic jams.

Serious question here from the US, are you familiar with a "Michigan left"? Basically, instead of turning left at an intersection you go straight through into a designed u-turn, where you go back to the intersection and turn right. So, I live in a town of ~8,000 people and they just redid the main 4/5 lane road with about 5 "Michigan lefts". There is about 3 stop-lights on this stretch of road, and the Michigan left "architecture" seems completely over-engineered to me. Do you use these "Michigan Lefts" when you design roads, and under what circumstances? Seems to me like the road architect got cute, and made a bunch of unnecessary complications when a left turn lane/signal would have been more practical and efficient

for some traffic tips, idk if they would work. But you can make the right lane that turns go to the right lane, it spaces it out a bit more (maybe)
Pre-traffic lights I would have my city in a grid with elevated freeways that had off ramps feeding the housing.

One of my DREAM CARS is a Bi-Turbo Mercedes-Benz G Wagon AMG series. But since I 100% absolutely CAN NOT keep ANY of my cars factory stock (2000 Subaru Forester L with a swapped Turbocharged H6 engine, 1991 Civic Si Hatchback with a japanese B16 engine swapped in, 2005 Toyota 4Runner with Japanese badging (Toyota Hilux Surf btw) along with a bunch of TRD parts and last but not least my 2012 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4wd with a built 6 Cylinder with a TRD supercharger slapped on top
.... among the 4 other project Cars I have that are slowly being built lol. ) ALL my cars need a built engine or a Turbocharger and/or Supercharger or BOTH if possible! Go Go Gadget Giggity!

You should try and build a bridge over a road if possible, so cars that need to go over the city can go on the bridge avoiding traffic lights. This method is very commonly used in United Arab Emirates.

He should be using the storage units to "teleport" steel. They can come out of them so the new superhighway is kinda useless if he just puts some on the other end
They can?? I thought as soon as steel is put in the storage building they can't be taken out for use in crafting. Only used for when you build roads/buildings etc.
you should suggest they give us super elevation curves in this for the faster roads
