- Did your Onewheel take a hit and now the headlight is flickereing, working sometimes, or even not working at all? Can hear a rattling sound like something is loose inside the front of your board? Chances are you have knocked your headlight cable loose or broken your headlight cable itself.

I sent my XR to Future Motion for this exact repair. I thought it was going to fall under the 1 Year warranty... But, alas.
I had to pay $26.38 for the repair... + frikin $400 in shipping costs to and from Sweden.
I told Onewheel that they held my board at "Ransom" I'm beyond pissed!
But thanks to you I'll do this myself next time, those warranty stickers are useless anyhow. #RightToRepair 😎
Say what you will the reapir fee was resonable which shocks the cr@p out of me.
Hopefully there is someone fairly close to you now or in time also, but there are plenty of repair how to videos, when things are out of warranty particularly. Sod FM

That’s great, but.... my headlight flickers. I suspect it’s one of the middle LED’s faulty.
I contacted FM while it was under warranty but was sure they would not blame themselves and therefore charge me like Joel... I took the controller apart, no loose or faulty connector (I did glue the ferrite core down while there) put it all back together and have been riding since with no problem except the flickering headlight !!!
I’m going to try and locate a replacement part. Or maybe an individual LED to fix it.
Just haven’t got time because I’m trying to get my day streak up 😏

I opened my box and removed my headlight wires, it all looked intact 100% I reinstalled it and it still flashes, is it possible the board solder joints are bad? Or the led light itself? It doesn't flash when in reverse or red mode.
How about the back light?
Are double sided sticky gaskets necessary? I was able to get a pair, but they are only sticky on one side.
How can I get the board to light up like David hasslehoff in k2000? red lighting up going from side to side?

Same steps more or less for the pint? Also, we have both headlight and taillight failure at the same time, I assume it’s the same harness??

Sadly most of the boards I see with headlight issues are flickering and not failing all together. There is more than likely a problem with the light itself than the connectors. Do you have a source for an LED strip for replacement?
All I could find is customs like the RGB Electrolytes and a purple one by MK Lighting
Is that ferrite ring normally not glued down? I didn’t notice any left over glue ot it was glued from factory

It's a joke they use that 20th century ferrite rubbish, a good armoured cable is betterer. Check the caps have adequate hot glue while you are in there. Maybe get a coloured power button in there, or electrolytes pro

That’s what I want to know as well, I have a XR (4212) with a broken headlight but some one said to me that they should not have the ring is this correct?
