- ONEWHEEL PINT SURESTANCE FOOTPADS Do they change the ride? Today we do some work on the Onewheel Pint and put on the Surestance footpads from Onewheel. We ride them and share our thoughts about the foot pads.

I recently got the rear Pint X air pad concave foot pad from Craft and Ride and it is awesome!

Those footpads look pretty rad with that golden delete, I’m glad you pointed out that this isn’t really a performance upgrade though as I wasn’t aware! Still super happy with my Kush Nug from the float life though 😊

The surestance definitely brings a nostalgic look from the XR! I myself still have the original front footpad but the rear I have the kush nug from the float life and their grip tape which feels more grippier..
I have heard so much good talk of that foot pad.

I love the wood look and think I'll definitely upgrade to them soonish on my son's pint. You should do a video on how to ride trails. Like the different settings, different terrain types, etc.

yeah the price could be a little lets as it is a visual upgrade and not a performance upgrade. I do like the look however

I've been looking for a review like this since fall when I got my pint. I didn't wanna spend 140$ for the front footpad and end up not using the back footpad due to wanting to get a kush nug thats just a couple buck cheaper.

I would def watch a step by step tutorial of how you change your Onewheel’s accessories so I can feel more confident when doing mods myself. I changed my tire a couple hours ago and now my Pint wouldn’t turn on. Kinda bummed out now

Scot Mendenhall yes. An adapter got unplugged inside the controller module because I unscrewed the black cap leading to that module that kept all the wires in place when taking my wheel off causing the cable from inside the module to yank loose. Minor error on my part but well noted to never touch that cap again. The other issue is the tools for those 5 star security hex screws are rare in Home Depot and Lowe’s, only 6 star hex are sold there and the only option is to order it so I’m stuck waiting for Amazon to ship me a set. Smh

As a larger guy (6'1/200lbs), does it make sense for me to get a Pint? I'm really wanting a Onewheel, but the $1800 price tag on the XR has me cringing. I've been searching for months online trying to find a used one for a lower price, but so far no dice. Recently I've been considering a Pint just because I can actually afford it's price tag. I just want to be able to get the most out of a Pint considering my size and weight (also size 11 shoe). If I can get 8-10 miles of range while hitting 14mph, I'll buy one now. Is the Pint at least somewhat competent off-road? Thanks in advance, and great vids!
We just gave a Pint to Joey who is about you numbers there and he loves it. I think you'll love the pint but alway will want that XR. So i say get the pint enjoy the ride and you'll learn it's better to have 2 OW so that your friends can ride with you to. If you click through some of our videos you'll see Joey riding the pint and then you can get a feel for what you are after.

Does this make the board sound less hollow and plastic feeling?
Yes the sound is a little different and the ride list a is a upgrade just a little to
Say my original footpad, the front side. One side stopped sensing my foot. Will putting on the surestance pads fix that or any new pads in that case?
yes if you get new set of foot pads from OW you should get a new front pad and that should fix the issue.
make sure to get front footpad.

I've damaged my pints front sensor after griptape change today.. Doesn't work anymore, no signal! Is there any other option than two new footpads? :-/. LG
I dont think there is an other option. What happened? Did you tear the sensor when switching out the grip tape?

The pint foot pad from Craft’n Ride is way better, also comes with badass grip tape!

yes and that the back foot pad is fully covered and that is really nice

I put gold paint on it myself. We race every sunday and I have been winning a ton so I thought I should show up with some gold on my onewheel. lol

Um does it switch on and off when standing still on unit like garbage stock pint footpads?!?! Because the XR DOESN’T.
They work just like the stock ones.
Noob here , is a size 13 shoe wearing dude too big of feet for the pint?
I can tell ya a size 9 is almost too small
Surestance pads were one of the biggest wastes of money for my OW ever. The screw mounts are garbage and pulled though on the back one. FM replaced it but still.
you must have gotten a bad set. I love mine and they have held up so good. I really like the feel of the ride as well.
