Of it's too overwhelming try factory town first, it's simpler and more relaxing, if the genre is something you liked, give factorio a try you won't regret it, i am too overwhelmed with factorio at first and stopped playing but i learn more about the genre now i am quite addicted to it, definitely watch more videos, guides, i reccomend KOS factorio series really helped me

I've never attempted any speedruns, but I've thoroughly enjoyed watching many speedruns. For a game like this, do you have to pre-plan on paper? For instance, what you need to do in order to get to the end?
This is the most satisfying speedrun game to watch. I'm curious how the outposts function - they're generating green circuits but where are the green circuits sunk? Are they just going into boxes?
I'm wondering for speedrun why didn't preplanned everything like maps, where to build and etc , are there certain restriction? I think that can make the run more efficient cutting down the decision making, like the use of blueprint
That's only for any% I think, default and the rest can't use set map seed and timer start while you choosing map, also only 100% speedrun allowed imported blueprint

No idea how to pm you on twitch or w/e but ill post here: great runs/respect etc. and thanks for having all your speedrun stuff avail online (via thru you or others). however around 1:40 :00 into vod even with trying to copy that loop system w/ 1way i couldnt get it to work not even with copying from ur VOD directly (zzz). ended up just looping since rail# didnt matter at that point. tldR: any chance you can post blueprints of this publically for dumb pple that cant find on google pls/ty :clink:. reverted to loops in meantime zzz
How do You drag ur items onto burners etc? when I do it with z button, some items got stuck in between or dropped in the floor lol. Does it happen also to you? is there a way to only have it dropped in the equipment?

I'm pretty sure he said in the last run that there it uses a circuit network to disable any miners that would mine multiple resources.

Sort of, yeah. Most of it is just muscle memory at this point, but a more easily seen example would be the blueprints. They've been optimized a lot.

If you start the z drag on a burner or similar, the game has a mechanic to only drop into entities when you drag.
