How do you place manipulators precisely 2 near any object while you're running? Is it a special skill gained by years of practicing, or there is something that I don't know)
If you can come up with a blueprint that collects the bots and leftover resources and deliver back to main base I think you could save a lot of time. Your derust run at the end was very fast as the extra bots. K
4:58:30 - what's this about not being able to burn trees anymore? Does too much flammables damage stop the fire from spreading? Or were you making a joke that I just missed? Or is there some other mechanic at play? I didn't think that would be a thing... you have me curious, now! Also, congrats on the WR!
Why would you do that? It's noted in the rules that free choice of map generator settings is allowed. Therefore, using default settings would be slower.
@@MatthisDayer there are pros and cons... git isn't really meant to deal with large files, and factorio generates a number of them... but it works, in my experience.
@@MatthisDayer Iff you're using Windows then Git extensions makes it realy easy to make file based repos anywhere by just right clicking a folder. I use it all the time on games save directories to make save points and backups.

nice run. A way to help the bot queue is to hover your mouse over the missing bot icon it makes it iterate through the list a bit faster.

I think it's possible with pressed mouse button and running at the same time.

Oh, or do you just mean not having it be the last thing, because that would be wasteful of time for the WR? That would make sense...
More flame damage makes the trees burn quicker, this can acctualy prevent the spread of the fire.

Theyve been done, just takes longer with biters and having to set up outposts
you said you lost your blueprints, you can extract blueprints from older saves, they are included in the savefile
