    This is interesting. In case one forgets his phone at home, he can still access it from his tab with a little help from someone. And you can also share the device is you want.

    Samsung: Let's name our new creation the "Lagball 3000".

  • @KhanPiesseONE
    @KhanPiesseONE Před 10 lety +2

    For those complaining about the lag, it isn't Samsung's fault, the quality of the streaming will depend of the speed of the Wi-Fi, and that is something that cannot be fixed in this point of time, you will need an uber-router/modem to have seamless device streaming.

    • @KhanPiesseONE
      @KhanPiesseONE Před 10 lety

      Lorenzo Strozzi That didn't make sense, sorry... Could you retype that?

    • @Lorenzo_Strozzi
      @Lorenzo_Strozzi Před 10 lety

      Sorry, i wrote it Very fast with that damned auto correct. I meant that The lag of this sidesync only depends by software issues. There's no router involved in The connection between The Tab And The Phone because they are connected via WiFi direct.

    hola, me parece la mejor aplicacion para control absoluto sobre el movil desde el pc. Estoy discapacitado y me viene muy bien pero tengo un un problema, cuando hago una llamada pierdo el control del movil desde el pc, se pone en negro y pone en la pantalla "A call in progress finish the call before starting SideSync" y no puedo colgar el movil si la otra persona no cuelca porque al tener mi minusvalia no me puedo mover... y no puedo colgar desde el movil fisico.
    Me podriais ayudar? I don´t speek english, I´m speek spanish, sorry.

  • @CorruptionDee
    @CorruptionDee Před 10 lety +1

    I think the new Galaxy Tab S series is awesome. However, if I bought a Tab Pro a couple of months ago, I'd be pissed because the Flagship upgrades are coming too fast. With that said, I have a 32GB Note 10.1 2014, so I'm good. Other than software and .4 inches of extra screen real estate, it really offers nothing over the Note 10.1. I would love the new Super AMOLED screen, but I see it as a blessing and a curse. Why? Burn-in. I've seen people deny the irrefutable fact that OLEDs can suffer from burn-in with all images, but with my 4+years with the technology, I it's not a matter of if, but rather when it will occur.
    On the Galaxy S and Note phones, it may take some time to manifest, but on a large tablet that's being used hours on end, I give it a few months tops before burn-in occurs. Especially with the notifications on top of the screen. I really wish some engineers would find a way to incorporate some pixel shifting technology like they did with Plasma to minimize the burn-in.
    All criticism aside, it's a beautiful tablet. Would I be correct in assuming that it's using the same Exynos SoC used in the Note and Pro series with HMP disabled?

  • @Link6155
    @Link6155 Před 10 lety

    The lag could be coming from the fact that that the WiFi has heavy traffic or that the app is not ready quite yet.

  • @alan14Chivas14
    @alan14Chivas14 Před 10 lety +3

    I don't think they've gone far enough. I would love the ability to connect over more wireless protocols, why not over LTE? And why not to any phone who has the app installed, sort of like Teamviewer for Android.

  • @GagesAndroid
    @GagesAndroid Před 10 lety

    They took what Apple did and went further, giving you your whole phone on your tablet instead of just certain features. Now they just need SideSync on PC and we'll have it made! ...also reducing some lag would be cool too, but I'm sure that's just because the wifi is being hammered with other devices.

    • @ogindianspice

  • @ilovetongmew
    @ilovetongmew Před 10 lety

    The lag was definitely caused by the terrible public wifi. It's pretty much mirroring the entire phone functionality, it needs a decent wifi for smooth running. Search for other better video. Some even demo playing games on it!

    Apple will probably claim Samsung copied that too. Crapple.

  • @NakedCrook
    @NakedCrook Před 10 lety

    People like to trash Samsung...but really, Samsung is the ONLY OEM out there that actually adds new features to their devices that would have real world applications.
    Sure, if you have all the features on, it can really slow the device down, but, as users, we have to pick and choose what we want to enable on our devices. That is the beauty of Android - tweaking the OS and the features to perfectly fit your needs.
    Samsung > everything > human shit > iPhone.

    False. On TALKING though the Tab S. It'll let you SEE a phone call come in and your able to dial out but you have to physically talk THROUGH your cell phone. Just confirmed with two live chat agents. I'm not able to do this as I just bought the Tab s from Costco. Both have been paired through side sync, both have paired via bluetooth but due to the wifi settings one is NOT able to talk through the Tab s. Yet my $80 DUMB car stereo can pair my phone and allow you to talk though it? But this $379 whizz of a device can't or won't let you.
