@TechGearTalk Your video method of comparing audio is pretty standard. Playing the same clip three times, imo, is seems rather abrupt and not pleasant. You can just cycle through the continuous audio two times.
@@volatilememory9338 I dont understand how is it abrupt? You will get to hear the differences when the audio samples are next to each other.. when cycling through a long sample with multiple devices is a nothing but waste of time and especially when its 3 devices, its cumbersome.

Really looking forward to the battery tests, it and having to buy a new book keyboard cover case are what have kept me from upgrading from my s8+.
S9 11" is powerful and portable workhorse. S9+ is subtitution for Laptop and also S9 Ultra and it is also great if you are using it for drawing.
Great video as always. But I think the accessories need to be addressed when comparing them. I bought the s9 and the keyboard cover and I really love the size of the S9 but the keyboard cover is so cramped and is missing some of the keys that are on the larger tablets versions. I am returning everything and buying the S9+. Just something to think about.
I went to Best Buy a few weeks ago, and I tried the three tablets. The s9 was small, and the Ultra was huge for me. I ended up buying the s9 Plus, perfect size for me. Not small and not that big!!!
Smart move - try them out and get what works best for you!

Tabs 9 is best general use case tablet imo. The plus and ultra models tred to much into laptop territory, which is fine if the user plans on replacing their latop

I dunno the Vanilla or Ultra variant but the Plus variant have screen issue.
You need to use it dark room and low brightness, turn on the 1 tap to show fingerprint area then you tap it to show fingerprint area, you will see a thin line blink once in the middle of the screen or when you turn it on before Samsung logo appear.
Also if you're using dark mode in dark room at low brightness, you will see a thin line in the top end of some of your images or video(I mean top in a landscape position, right if on portrait position). I complained to Samsung, they replaced my unit and the exact same issue still there

Thank you for the great & helpful review!I decided to buy the S9 plus and it is awesome 💫. I checked them all at a store and S9 is a quite small in size while the Ultra is very big! 9 plus is in between and I find it perfect for me so I highly recommend it. In my opinion, if you want to replace a laptop with tablet the best choices are S9 ultra and S9+.

I do one screen=s9 split screen=s9+ and 3 screen=ultra. I like the s9 because it's kinda the tablet for playing games handheld, reading, etc and taking notes is actually not bad and horizontal it's pretty much bigger than the width size of a paper anyway. It's also small enough to use handheld for the back cameras and though small you can use it handheld for taking notes vertically while the other tablets is pretty much in the horizontal position unless you want to use it for a second screen (vertical)

I got to S9 plus the perfect size I just wish the book cover keyboard was backlit I use it for everything...
i owned the tab s8 ultra. its a head turner, for sure. its just too big for what I need a tablet to do. its basically a laptop without the keyboard anymore. i "downgraded" to the s9+ this year and it suits my needs much better. doesnt quite make me feel like im holding a technological marvel though, so thats the only "downside".

I dont know about the prices nowadays in US, but I just bought a S9+ 12gb/512gb in Brazil for R$ 3.825,00 in 10x installments, which is less than 800 usd. And here, the keyboard case is included in the box of every S9 model. Just a great value.
Oh, the 15W charger is also in the box in Brazil bc of legal regulation.
That's so cheap, the UK is so expensive. £850 here for S9+ 256 gb. :(

Would recommend this tablet for watching movies
While I like my S9 Ultra, the one deficiency it has is still brightness. It pales in comparison to the iPad Pro 12.9”. It maxes out at 900 nits or so, but you can only see that outside. Indoors, it’s not any brighter than the S8 Ultra, hovering a bit over 400 nits, while the iPad Pro can get to 1600 nits on HDR indoors. I still think the iPad Pro has the better screen even though it’s mini-LED. The S9 Ultra definitely a good screen and I have it right on my desk and use it daily. I hope the next version is brighter by using the double-stacked screens Apple is supposedly using on its next iPad Pros.
Adding a glare-free skin protector(or whatever it's called) will definitely help with outdoor performance
That’s because the IPAD pro is not OLED. OLED can’t get as bright because the pixels get too hot. However the contrast, colors, and everything else on an OLED screen is superior. Once you go OLED you don’t go back.
@@aztronomy7457 There are obviously exceptions to this. OLED panels on quite a few major flagship phones (e.g. iPhone, Galaxy S24 Ultra, Pixel 8 Pro, etc) are capable of 2000 nits or higher, brighter than the iPad Pro, which maxes out at 1600 nits in HDR. Those panels are smaller and are not intended to last as long since the average life span of an iPad is five years while a phone’s is only about 2 years. The next iPad Pros are rumored to have new double stacked OLED panels currently not used in any commercial product that alleviates much of the brightness issues without generating as much heat. They may be as bright as the iPad Pro’s current mini-LED panels, but we won’t know until they come out. What we do know is that those panels are going to be expensive.

Even though the battery's are bigger in the bigger models, do you get more battery time or do the bigger models take up more battery life?
I have the S9+ FE but I can't get the screen to wake for any notifications when the screen is locked. Maybe that's the way it is but I miss that facility.

Most likely an adapter to the USB port then hdmi cable to projector. If you have a wireless adapter on the projector you should be able to cast to it
the sound on this tablet is awesome, I love mine, and yes this is the best tab on the market

I never owned a tablet before so this will be my first time if I bought it. I will be using it for my work at the office so I'm not sure if I would buy the S9 or S9 PLUS.
If you are using it for office work ,you will enjoy the 9 Plus screen more, especially if you plan to keep it for a few years. I have the 9 plus having moved over from a 11 inch iPad pro.

It would really come down to the types of games you want to play. As far as 12 vs 16 - it's always better to have more - but again, it's a question of what you'll be doing, and whether you also need the storage. Hope that helps.

@@user-sw5uc4mq1bYeah if you had to choose I rather get a gaming laptop/desktop (because it's cheaper to upgrade and either way you get probably a better graphics card but if you are using it for school then probably a tab s9+ would be better. Gaming laptops are kind of in a strange place because it's kind of too heavy to carry around but a laptop is for portability but the cooling system might not be the best but it depends on what you plan to do with it.
Gaming laptops are kind of a waste IMO. They get super hot and have terrible cooling, and way too many fans, so they sound like a nuclear reactor. If you want a portable system I’d just get the steam deck

It depends on your use. For me, it will be enough for applications, but it is not enough to download a lot of movies and episodes of series. There are even some games that are heavy in size. Only yourself can answer your question. Compare your use of your phone and do you think you need more space or not?

@@MLL65 Nice one, thanks. I've bought 512GB vesion, but would honestly recommend 256GB as plenty of space and you can move videos and space demanding stuff on SD memory card. Didn't expect so many games novadays take 5-8GB, but that is still ok with smallest internal memory

I have a S4, S6, and an S7 12" Tablet, am trading in my S4 for the new S9 11". Does anyone use DEX? I used it once. the processor on the S4 and S6 are really not powerful enough and the S7 is barely powerful enough. I just use these tables for watching content as they have OLED screens. Once day Apple will switch to OLED and life will be beautiful.....
