    Very Very surprised by this whole process, this just shows you how much of a difference the right tire setup and right gear will change your bike, Those tires I was riding on felt like riding on peanut butter through quick sand, I am very happy with the vittoria corse pro tires because I have ridden those in the past, and also the weight to remove a pound off a bike is something you are going to feel no matter if it is flat or not, the bike will respond much better and react faster....... I had fun making this video let me know what you think but very excited ot get on this bike again tomorrow for a ride.

    TPU all the way! TPU are worth it. I have tried three types. TURBOLITO is the best but very expensive. RideNow is my go to. The difference from butyl is noticeable, rolls faster, more comfortable plus saving over 100 grams per wheel. The Turbolitos are worth it even at the higher price because of the difference the TPU makes, but I’d recommend RideNow because price is less than half and they are very similar.

      I agree 1000000 percent, I am a huge believer in this, to be honest anything over butyl tubes right now, but tpu tubes make the bike os much more lively, it is something that costs so little btu changes so much

      @@diesel9677if you look at vittorias own study they did on there tpu tube vs there own latex tube they are literally almost in the same spot compared to rolling resistance. You get a very similar benefit from the two tubes and that’s coming from the company that makes there latex

    • @charlesblithfield6182
      @charlesblithfield6182 Před 11 měsíci

      @@diesel9677 I liked the latex, sure noticed it was smoother than butyl but it was expensive and felt really delicate to install. Also I don’t mind checking pressure and pumping up if needed every ride, do it anyway every time, but the latex definitely lost a lot of pressure fast, TPU and butyl not so much.

    These Schwalbe One are 2nd-tier tires. No serious enthusiast (most of your viewers 😉) would ride on those. Pro One is the top-tier model and more comparable to those Corsa Pro, in terms of weight and RR.
    And WTF? No proper drain hole on the frame? Knowing that water could get in and stuck inside would annoy me to no end.
    My saddle (pretty similar in design to this S-Works in fact) from China also weighs 130g but costs $30. For that price, I was willing to take the risk of it not being comfortable enough but it worked out well.

      Right. You did alert people that it’s not how to use Silca Super Secret. Might have been better to edit the entire piece out. Only because you still show people how you do it “in a rush” which means viewers will follow your example. Unfortunately your quick approach does nearly nothing. It does not remove the shimano packing grease and the drip wax is rendered useless. Either show people how to actually do it right or don’t use it at all. Love your videos. I do. I’m an evangelical for chain waxing and I want everyone to see how easy it is to do it right. But, you have to go slow up front to go fast in the end.

    Looking at possibly purchasing this bike. It's currently $5,250. My plan would be to move my Elite Drive wheels with GP5000 str's (tubeless) from my Canyon Endurace & selling the Entity wheels. If I could get $500 for them that brings the price down to $4,750. Then also swapping my lightweight saddle, I also could probably be at 7.7kg while hoping there is a path to 7.5kg. What do you think, possible? Lastly, do you think this could be a someone's main bike, like a someone's daily driver that likes comfort but also going fast?

      @@GCPerformance18 no it won't because the wax will not penetrate the chain rollers or stick to the chain because of factory lube. Therefore there will be no benefits from silca secret lube. That mainly are better components lifespan due to lower friction and longer run on one lubricantion. The guy from zero friction cycling or john frim silca are quite clear about it. Your bike here is no exception.

      I am lovbing these tires, I have them on two my bikes and they feel so fast and also very supple, the 30s make it feel comfortable over bad terrain but at no moment do I feel resistance when riding the bike, only downside they are more likely to get a flat compared to continental

      So like i said in this video, this is something that I did for my bike, it is a wax based lube, I cleaned the chain with a citrus degreaser inside a rag to strip away the stock sticky lube from shimano..... it removed everything on there that I wanted then I sprayed even more alchol to strip away the degreaser from the chain, I applied the lube heavily on there and it is a wax base lube so it will dry over the alcholed chain, the drivetrain rode very efficient today the shifts were quiet and amazing, felt less resistant then the stock lube...... now I am sure the difference between what I did and and doing an ultrasonic cleaner (which I do to customers bikes) but the difference in watts you gain are so marginal, you, yourself would not even feel the difference nor would it effect your personal ride in anyway..... I could argue to say what you eat is effecting your bike riding more then how I lubed that chain in this video on my personal bike because i didn't want to ultrasonic a chain late a night..... this weas just me choosing the lube I wanted and had not a lot to do with the point of the video.
