Weakest part of Shimano staff was always their cassette build up. Bring back steel freehubs for shimano or they should change their cassette build. Sram did great with XD drive. Works well. Shimano sucks woth this style, microspline still doesn't solve the problem. Individual cogs sucks.

I don't think it is the new Aeroad. Pics are deceiving, MVDP rides a larger sized frame than what's shown on Canyon's site which makes it appear a bit more 'stetched and thinner'. Look at the fork & chainstay ends, they appear identical, albeit slightly longer due to the larger frame MVDP uses. Same with the bottom bracket. The only updates appear to be the handlebar/stem design, so probably a new handlebar. Specialized released a new handlebar and madie it available before releasing the new Tarmac SL8. Also, Canyon is notoriously conservative with new design changes, the 1st gen Aeroad wasn't updated for 6 years (2014-2020) before releasing the 2nd-gen (current) Aeroad (which was released in late 2020 as a 201 model. Canyon has alwo replenished the curent Aeroad inventory so I'm guessing we wont' see a new Aeroad until next year or 2026.

I have to laugh about some of the comments here... people pay 700 $ for oversized pulley wheels (which do improve your cycling NOT AT ALL), or 500 $ for integrated cockpits (which in fact make bikes worse because of the limitations in adjustability), or spend thousands of $ for a new bike only because it's new and looks awsome - but 400 $ for a handlebar which may make every single minute of your cycling more enjoyable and faster... NO WAY, TOO EXPENSIVE 🙈

Canyon has a special type of bar for the pro teams. The standard bars are at 0 degrees, but the pro bars are angled more downward. the one on botas his bike is probably the standard one and on mathieu the pro one for the new bike
