  • @TheBarts27
    @TheBarts27 Před 17 dny

    New red shifters are longer so the reach becomes also longer. Some bikes like the Tarmac sl8 are pretty long so with this Sram red shifters it becomes even longer. Something to think about when choosing a frame size and stem. This Groupset is mainly used by the competition riders and they use stupid long stems so these shifters will help them to sit longer/lower and use a normal lenght stem that will benefit the handling of the bike. The question is if this longer shifters will benefit the normal riders. Maybe they should stay with the Force and Rival shifters or change the lenght of the stem if that is possible (changing one piece carbon handlebar/stem combo's is expensive).

    • @GCPerformance18
      @GCPerformance18  Před 17 dny +1

      I mean the hand support you get from the hood is way better then the normal shifter, they are I think the best feeling hood out and this is me who has 12 speed ultegra, so I would compensate the little longer reach, I could either get use to it or go shorter stem

      Sram users are pretty much stuck using the hammerhead if you want integration, however I will say, it’s a very nice computer.

      Bro said he didn’t get a sram case at the beginning, which means he’d have to fully disassemble this ready to buy bike to get those. Ben Delaney has a break down of all that on his channel.

    • @GCPerformance18
      @GCPerformance18  Před 18 dny +1

      I figured there would be 20 other channels opening up coolers, that they can weigh it, I will have a video very soon showing off comparing weight to weight sram vs shimano..... but I do not have demo bikes to test ride, everything opn this channel I pay for myself, I am not media and these companies do not favor me

    13 Speed later this year!?!?!? - Came across something interesting on online retailers for the 1x aero chainring. In the description says "Compatible with 12-speed and 13-speed drivetrains"

    Incoming, Shimano fanboys pooping on SRAM for every little thing. I quite like my SRAM Rival AXS, but I will say that Shimano hoods are WAAAAAAAAYYYYY better. But you can't beat SRAM for being FULLY wireless and having those wonderful little batteries that don't need to be charged on the bike, you know, like Shimano, hehe.
