    • @elbaecc
      @elbaecc Před 3 lety +850

      "Competitive Ferrari" is actually what turned me off F1. This was at the peak of Ferrari v MacLaren / Schumacher v Hakkinen rivalry.
      I remember the race where Barrichello was at #1 and was ordered by Ferrarri boses _on the very last lap_ to slow down and let Schumacher through so he wins the race and increases his chances of winning in the Driver's Championship versus Hakkinen. They stole Barichello's win from him and seeing the emotional hurt on the Brazilians face while Schumacher beamed and celebrated unabashedly...I was done! As much as Schumacher has achieved in his career, it has been on the back of other drivers' careers, like Barichello's, and I lost respect for him & Ferrari that day. Haven't saw F1 with the same amount of zeal and interest after that.
