  • This one is all about Making a Wood End Table out of your standard lumber from any home tools store.
The build is actually quite simple if you have a cut list and list of dimensions which I will provide below. I decided to design mine with a mix of paint and dark walnut stain to really give it a modern/industrial look and feel to it. The black paint makes the legs look like steel, and it goes great with the wood end table top that I made from 2x6s.
This also matches my coffee table build - you can view that video here: • How to Make a Wood Cof...
Making this wood end table only took a few days and the longest part of that was letting the paint and stain dry in between coats. Other than that, the cuts, sanding, and making pocket holes was pretty quick.
Now that it's coming up to Fall weather, what is your excuse for not making one of these? I did it in the summer heat! lol. Enjoy building your own wood end table.
    Dimensions:
    8 - 2X4 @ 22 1/2" (Legs)
    4 - 2X2 @ 16" (Trim)
    2 - 1X12 @ 16" (Bottom shelf)
    5 - 2x6 @ 27" (Top)

Nicely done. The end table looks great! It is nice to see who the true woodworker is in your family. I suspect she makes all the cuts and does the assembly but you have been taking credit all along. LOL great teamwork. 😄

That table top will split with pocket hole screws in, or any screws for that matter stopping across the grain expansion,

I wish I could say I have enough information from this video to make the end table-but I just can not. Too bad; it looks very nice.
