REVIEW: Alpine Ozone Generator to Remove Odors
Today I'll be reviewing the Alpine Ozone Generator because someone threw a CRAZY party at one of the AirBnbs we manage with our company Wishlist Property Management. The smell would not go away, even after the cleaners finished up at the home and worked the entire time with the windows open.
I also just so happened to need it for our mountain property where another older guests could not make it downstairs to let her dog out enough (her words, not ours) so the dog just used the bathroom all over the home.
Additionally, the basement of another section of that home needed some help as well. So here I am testing this machine in both the loft with the dog issues and the basement. Both ended up working AMAZINGLY well.
While this isn't in the video, I've now had this machine for well over a year and have used it dozens of times across remodels, personal homes, and vacation rentals. I absolutely love the Alpine Ozone Generator and it's one of the best cleaning investments I could've made.

How Much Rent Can I Get With Just A $10K Remodel?
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 622PĆed 21 dnem
This project was a true budget heavy adventure. We stayed under the $10k max budget but was able to put in enough sweat equity alongside that money to bump up the rent another $200 PLUS own a home that I can be proud of. We put in a lot of quality work to make this place clean, safe, and quite a bit cozier than what it was. Some viewers may disagree with this practice and would prefer the $1,40...

Pt 9: Upstairs Bathtub Remodel | Lakeside Bungalow
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 383PĆed 7 mÄsĂci
Now the upstairs bathroom is all done! It's set with a steel 30" bathtub install, a half wall that I had to build custom, plumbing, some electrical, and more. The hardest part of all these projects is brainstorming the ideas. This bathroom was tricky with it's weird layout but we made it work to where we didn't have to change the layout which could've been costly. Now we're pretty much all set ...

Pt 8.1 Forming the Mud Bed Shower Pan & Plumbing | Lakeside Bungalow
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 480PĆed 7 mÄsĂci
Everything is now officially demolished and it's time to rebuild. We've already done a ton of the electrical so it's about time we dive into the plumbing and getting the bathrooms up in and running. This video is all about the hook-ups of the Moen shower valve along with the laundry plumbing. While I'm at it, the drains for both of these areas will be tackled too. Then the main event is startin...
Pt 7: Opening Up the Stairwell - Biggest Update Yet! | Lakeside Bungalow AirBnb
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 377PĆed 7 mÄsĂci
Getting rid of this closed-in stairwell is probably THE biggest update we could make to this lakeside home remodel. None of these walls were load bearing so I was able to do anything I wanted to them, which of course meant creating an open floorplan. Not only will this look better, but it'll help with the airflow in here too since there is only 1 HVAC unit. I hope you enjoy the last bit of demo...
Pt 6: Framing the Electric Fireplace! | Lakeside Bungalow AirBnb
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 758PĆed 7 mÄsĂci
I'll be framing out the electric fireplace today! Along with a dozen other smaller items. The Lakeside Bungalow remodel is in full swing and well on our way to putting things back together again. Framing the fireplace consists of a few 2x4s, a nailgun, and some basic wiring. This installation is easy to do and requires only light electrical work, making it a great project for anyone looking to ...

Can I use these tracks for outdoor shed ?
There's a lot of variables when it comes to Tile and grout. You learn as you go haha
I am definitely going to go and get some! I had rubber gloves on and somewhere along the line ripped a great big hole in the one finger which is now dark brown. My mother told me that my grandfather used to use turpentine on all of their cuts and boo-boos. So when I grew up she used Macura con Well the phone canât spell it and I can only guess lol but she used it on us and it stunk like crazy. But Iâve heard turpentine does really well on a cut and now that I know I will get it to clean my hands
I suspect that because you used a pressure treated 4x4 the insecticide in the wood killed them and they died elsewhere or it just repelled them! Im going to try it with non pressure treated wood and see if that makes a difference!
Dark walnut looked like light walnut!
Look at the size of your wall . - The advice is relative to the size of your surface area. I would have thought that would be common sense! 1.7 X3 SQM is not the same as 15 SQM. X3 is it. ?
Does it shake?
I'm going to do this in my cottage. Thank you for walking through the steps :)
I went to your other video link and they were totally different lights. I was commenting about this video that I didn't see how you daisy chained the lights up in the ceiling, so I went to the link thinking that you would show it in the other video, but I still didn't see what I was looking for being that they were totally different lights. In the linked video I saw that there were 3 easy disconnects, but if you are jumping to another light, where are you supposed to connect the other wiring?
Please come do mine. I'll make dinner
My mirror is huge and is secured with some kind of plastic clips. How can I work around this problem?
just carve out little craters on the back of your new wood frame where the clips are by using a hammer and a flat head screwdriver. Or if you have a drill, drill out a 1/2 crater where the clips are.
No, for every 1 things he's right about, he's wrong about 99. He's a friggin joke and hack of a contractor/diy influencer.
Grear job. It might look chic if you painted the frame black.
It can also help certain plastics and rubber deteriorate faster. It can damage eyes and cells in the lungs, but that's usually in extreme cases. Airing out the room is always a smart idea. If you have central heat or AC, don't put it right next to the return
Couldnât watch, music was too annoying and there was no narration.
Back in the 2000s I woked in a hotel. when we Started getting rid of Smoking rooms, we used ozone generators. I thought they quite well. Wasn't a fan of the odd electrical smell when in operation. When finished, the odor faded quickly.
An ozone generator has been so handy for us! Got smoke smell out of our clothes and things and just used it to clear out the musty smell from a used car.
Dreamline does not instruct/recommend , or warranty their pans if screwed to the studs. other pans may but not dreamline, just set in mortar base and let cure before proceeding
Is it heat resistant paint?
I have never grouted before. Not once. I just finished my kitchen floor last night and used the FA. It went so smoothly. The one mistake i think a lot of people are making is using a drill to mix and going TOO FAST. 350RPM MAX super slow. Mixing for just under 5 minutes with the correct amount of water turns this to runny peanut butter and it's PERFECT. Waited about 20 minutes to sponge and buff, and it turned out pretty good
You can put the threshold guide on last it makes getting the doors in much more easily
If she don't like the jacket - maybe she shouldn't wear it? What? Don't like that rug runner either? Good content. Helps me with my work on a 1969 double wide trailer. Thank you.
LOL.. why would you replace one linear foot of tubing? Just cut out that foot of tubing and join up the parts that are still good! You wasted money buying tubing if that's all you did. Also, I just bought a connection with 5/16" - 1/4", made by John Guest, but doesn't require a little locking ring to keep it in. Home depot had it for $10.00 Canadian instead of paying for a whirlpool part $34.00+. Another place wanted $57.00 and had to order it. I read, you should change your tubing throughout the water system in your fridge water dispenser and freezer ice cube maker every 3-5 years. No way Im doing that! LOL... They recommend getting it cleaned out with vinegar also... by someone who knows how! I have no idea how they would pump vinegar through the system. (to clear out Mold) The reason for changing the tubing is that the tubing dries out and cracks... so, you are probably in for some more cracks! Unless you backed your fridge up and pinched the tube??? I tape my tubing up onto the back of the fridge, up off the floor! I also had slow water from my dispenser. Found out over the last week of searching videos that it is actually because the builders of our house, Minto, put in a saddle valve on the water pipe to run a tube from, to the fridge... the water can't get through fast enough to dispense the water well. We thought it was normal...for 23 years.. LOL... just figured it out now! It was taking 45 seconds to fill a 12 ounce glass... OMG... Then I googled how long it should take and it should take about 8-10 seconds. Wayyyy faster! So, gonna change that ... maybe I'll make a video and post it! Maybe... Hope this helps others, Cheers..
Will legs support just as is if I make this 10ft long
Without a doubt, yes. It's extremely sturdy. The only thing I'd maybe do with a 10ft span is add a small 1x4 piece of wood in the middle of the span (5' in). Do this between each 2x4. Probably not even necessary.
Best video Iâve seen of thisâŠ. Thank youuuu
I have watched several videos on how to install a shower base and they itâs very important to put some paper like felt or thick plastic on the board before you put down 5he cement otherwise the concrete will rot the wood.
Or buy one and avoid all the leg work and psychical work for 50 bucks. The wheels you used alone were almost 25 a piece.
One wheel is over $20 fittings are 2-5 a piece. Fucking click bait. Imma still watch it tho even tho itâs gonna be over 90 bucks
The added poly across the front is a good idea. However, I recommend 6-mil. The 2-mil that you appeared can easily become damaged. Thank you for the video.
Iâm 3 coats in and it still looks streaky and not consistent. Also how in the world did you get the soap tray and other things like that painted so cleanly? Did you use a sprayer for those?
at minute 7:20 there should be a pic of the gap in the slot where the wheel easily slips into the track. If you try to install and don't get the wheel in at the location where there is a gap, it WILL NOT GO IN. Took a while to figure that out.
Outside With Mike did this very project 3 years ago as well.
This is really zeroscaping, not xeriscaping. Xeriscaping should contain drought tolerant plants, at best no less than plants in a traditional garden. This gravel-on-weed-fabric antipattern doesn't work for long, since dirt and seeds accumulate in the gravel. Especially if the climate isn't really dry desert. People do this in humid parts of Europe, in Germany or even UK, in hope to get rid of garden maintenance, and cheaper than paving all over. But it doesn't work, and is illegal according to many legislations.
I appreciate your video and work effort, but this is just a bandaid on a stich wound. It seems to me that all chimney crowns should have a custom fit stainless steel box cover with holes cut out for flues and fasten in place, and a high temp flexible caulk sealer around perimeter of flues.
I watch Jeffs videos purely for laughs, never took his advices seriously
Must be nice to live in Mayberry ... where nobody steals your stuff that you leave by the side of the lake. đ€
Could you use textured paint and then repaint it silver or gold, with a gloss for even more upscale look?
Very good job and helpful video đ. You forgot to introduce your dog đ
Kelly, iâve been watching your video and is that a color stain that youâre putting on the cedar boards? I like the color that it turned out to be. If you donât mind, I just would like to know what you used because Iâm getting ready to wrap my post.
Asbestos is the State Rock of California, known as Serpentine. It is common in East Bay San Francisco and El Dorado Hills east of Sacramento. It is found on fault lines. I would be most concerned driving dusty gravel roads in those areas since the white dust on your car likely has asbestos, and how many drivers wear a mask. The workers most affected were spraying asbestos in ship holds every day, with poor masks.
I need to build one but the part boat sits on I need to add elbows and other PVC to make supports go other way.... For my inflatable Colorado pontoon boat
Why would anyone want to cover a pretty golden yellow with plain old white?
some people like to live in the current century
@@KellyConcepts , if the current century calls for everything to look cold and sterile, I prefer my own taste. To each his oen.
Excellent man! Just the instructions I needed. Question though, what would you recommend for a kitchen sink? Again, thanks for the video!
Thank you! Iâve used this in just bathtubs and sinks. Iâd be a little worried about how itâd hold up against silverware and pots & pans. I havenât tried! Sorry
@@KellyConcepts Thanks anyway.
It is amazing how good a 2x8 can look with a little bit of work.
Thank you! I just bought a house and have to regrout and this is the grout we have from the previous owner! So, now I feel good about using it.
NO! Exactly what NOT to do. No roofer will tell you to scrape the roof. It damages it. Blow off loose material and use a chemical de-moss such as zinc.
Mixing speed seems to be the big determine factor in quick drying time experiences.
I just ordered the exact same one. Can you tell me how wide the rails for the shower door are approximately . There was nothing in the PDF on the manufacturer's site for how thick that threshold is
I am installing one right now ... they are 2 3/8".
This is definitely not a âhow toâ video
DO NOT mix it with a high powered mixer (on a drill) mix it by hand.
