REVIEW: Alpine Ozone Generator to Remove Odors
Today I'll be reviewing the Alpine Ozone Generator because someone threw a CRAZY party at one of the AirBnbs we manage with our company Wishlist Property Management. The smell would not go away, even after the cleaners finished up at the home and worked the entire time with the windows open.
I also just so happened to need it for our mountain property where another older guests could not make it downstairs to let her dog out enough (her words, not ours) so the dog just used the bathroom all over the home.
Additionally, the basement of another section of that home needed some help as well. So here I am testing this machine in both the loft with the dog issues and the basement. Both ended up working AMAZINGLY well.
While this isn't in the video, I've now had this machine for well over a year and have used it dozens of times across remodels, personal homes, and vacation rentals. I absolutely love the Alpine Ozone Generator and it's one of the best cleaning investments I could've made.

Install Replacement Windows - Remove Old Wood Windows
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 238Pƙed dnem
I'll never hire out replacing windows again... this is one of the easiest DIY jobs you can do when compared to the cost savings. I put it up there with recessed light installations (super easy DIY project). Get your measurements, walk into Lowe's or Home Depot to pick up the in-stock replacement windows. Demo out the old wood windows. Install the new vinyl replacement windows. Caulk it, trim it...

Welcome back, DIY enthusiasts! In this video, I'll guide you through the process of creating a stunning custom floating electric fireplace, complete with a stylish 1x2 slat wall above it. Follow along as I frame it out using 1x8s, nail it all up with my trusty 18ga nail gun from Ryobi, and meticulously sand every surface to perfection. To achieve that rustic charm, I opted for the timeless Spec...
How Much Rent Can I Get With Just A $10K Remodel?

This project was a true budget heavy adventure. We stayed under the $10k max budget but was able to put in enough sweat equity alongside that money to bump up the rent another $200 PLUS own a home that I can be proud of. We put in a lot of quality work to make this place clean, safe, and quite a bit cozier than what it was. Some viewers may disagree with this practice and would prefer the $1,40...

Pt 9: Upstairs Bathtub Remodel | Lakeside Bungalow
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 383Pƙed 7 měsĂci
Now the upstairs bathroom is all done! It's set with a steel 30" bathtub install, a half wall that I had to build custom, plumbing, some electrical, and more. The hardest part of all these projects is brainstorming the ideas. This bathroom was tricky with it's weird layout but we made it work to where we didn't have to change the layout which could've been costly. Now we're pretty much all set ...

Getting rid of this closed-in stairwell is probably THE biggest update we could make to this lakeside home remodel. None of these walls were load bearing so I was able to do anything I wanted to them, which of course meant creating an open floorplan. Not only will this look better, but it'll help with the airflow in here too since there is only 1 HVAC unit. I hope you enjoy the last bit of demo...

I am definitely going to go and get some! I had rubber gloves on and somewhere along the line ripped a great big hole in the one finger which is now dark brown. My mother told me that my grandfather used to use turpentine on all of their cuts and boo-boos. So when I grew up she used Macura con Well the phone can’t spell it and I can only guess lol but she used it on us and it stunk like crazy. But I’ve heard turpentine does really well on a cut and now that I know I will get it to clean my hands

I suspect that because you used a pressure treated 4x4 the insecticide in the wood killed them and they died elsewhere or it just repelled them! Im going to try it with non pressure treated wood and see if that makes a difference!

I went to your other video link and they were totally different lights. I was commenting about this video that I didn't see how you daisy chained the lights up in the ceiling, so I went to the link thinking that you would show it in the other video, but I still didn't see what I was looking for being that they were totally different lights. In the linked video I saw that there were 3 easy disconnects, but if you are jumping to another light, where are you supposed to connect the other wiring?

just carve out little craters on the back of your new wood frame where the clips are by using a hammer and a flat head screwdriver. Or if you have a drill, drill out a 1/2 crater where the clips are.

I have never grouted before. Not once. I just finished my kitchen floor last night and used the FA. It went so smoothly. The one mistake i think a lot of people are making is using a drill to mix and going TOO FAST. 350RPM MAX super slow. Mixing for just under 5 minutes with the correct amount of water turns this to runny peanut butter and it's PERFECT. Waited about 20 minutes to sponge and buff, and it turned out pretty good

LOL.. why would you replace one linear foot of tubing? Just cut out that foot of tubing and join up the parts that are still good! You wasted money buying tubing if that's all you did. Also, I just bought a connection with 5/16" - 1/4", made by John Guest, but doesn't require a little locking ring to keep it in. Home depot had it for $10.00 Canadian instead of paying for a whirlpool part $34.00+. Another place wanted $57.00 and had to order it. I read, you should change your tubing throughout the water system in your fridge water dispenser and freezer ice cube maker every 3-5 years. No way Im doing that! LOL... They recommend getting it cleaned out with vinegar also... by someone who knows how! I have no idea how they would pump vinegar through the system. (to clear out Mold) The reason for changing the tubing is that the tubing dries out and cracks... so, you are probably in for some more cracks! Unless you backed your fridge up and pinched the tube??? I tape my tubing up onto the back of the fridge, up off the floor! I also had slow water from my dispenser. Found out over the last week of searching videos that it is actually because the builders of our house, Minto, put in a saddle valve on the water pipe to run a tube from, to the fridge... the water can't get through fast enough to dispense the water well. We thought it was normal...for 23 years.. LOL... just figured it out now! It was taking 45 seconds to fill a 12 ounce glass... OMG... Then I googled how long it should take and it should take about 8-10 seconds. Wayyyy faster! So, gonna change that ... maybe I'll make a video and post it! Maybe... Hope this helps others, Cheers..

Without a doubt, yes. It's extremely sturdy. The only thing I'd maybe do with a 10ft span is add a small 1x4 piece of wood in the middle of the span (5' in). Do this between each 2x4. Probably not even necessary.

at minute 7:20 there should be a pic of the gap in the slot where the wheel easily slips into the track. If you try to install and don't get the wheel in at the location where there is a gap, it WILL NOT GO IN. Took a while to figure that out.

This is really zeroscaping, not xeriscaping. Xeriscaping should contain drought tolerant plants, at best no less than plants in a traditional garden. This gravel-on-weed-fabric antipattern doesn't work for long, since dirt and seeds accumulate in the gravel. Especially if the climate isn't really dry desert. People do this in humid parts of Europe, in Germany or even UK, in hope to get rid of garden maintenance, and cheaper than paving all over. But it doesn't work, and is illegal according to many legislations.

Asbestos is the State Rock of California, known as Serpentine. It is common in East Bay San Francisco and El Dorado Hills east of Sacramento. It is found on fault lines. I would be most concerned driving dusty gravel roads in those areas since the white dust on your car likely has asbestos, and how many drivers wear a mask. The workers most affected were spraying asbestos in ship holds every day, with poor masks.
