Great timing on the video! Tomorrow i'll be changing the bushes on my 120d as i'm still trying to dignose the vibrations i have on the steering wheel under braking.
Nice job. I was looking to replace the susp.arms on my 130i with the M3 ones. What would your opinion be about that? Heard good stories about better/sharper steering/handling.
I have put M3 suspension arms on my 130. If you do it at home I hope you have close to a shop who does wheel alingment! After the alignment it is so much sharper in the steering than the old arms. It is a no brainer if you are doing all the arms anyway in my opinion.
Unrelated to the video. Question to e60 m5 2010 smg model. The other day I’ve noticed in first gear on take off (normal driving) a slight judder/shaking. It does not happen all the time. Any thoughts. Thx
Could be heavy clutch wear/hot spots, try a few hard shifts in S5/S6, if that doesn’t clear it up, the clutch bite point can be reset using scan tool/ISTA. A worn dual mass flywheel can cause issues too
Good to see your still pumping out videos. I'm looking to do this stuff to my car too
For sure, more videos to come

Ditto on my 118D

If I was replacing all 4 front lower arms I would have gone with the M3 ones

@@MTechGuy thanks for the reply. Btw I posted a shaky short video with nice revs in a tunnel.
Nice!
