The majority of people in America (I don't know about other countries) are actually pretty moderate or "in the middle" when it comes to beliefs and politics. I am moderate myself! :) It's good to have friends of all beliefs and backgrounds.

I had a wife, soon to be ex, that was refusing to move out of the house that I'd owned for about a decade (we were only married 18 months). Her lawyer had advised her not to as she was trying to claim my house as Marital property. So anyway, she attacked me one night, tore shirt and tried to drag me out of my wheelchair. Needless to say that she was invited to leave by the PD.

For some reason I've never seen this video... When you said the others didn't stop the guy from threatening to stab you, it reminded me of this time near the end of my SJW days around four years ago. A bunch of us were hanging out with this new muslim girl we'd met. Even if the darkest depths of my SJW haze, I'd never supported Islam in the slightest. As a somewhat worldly gay guy who'd read the quran, I knew what that religion thought of me... Still, I was open to meeting a moderate adherent to change my views.
Anyway, this girl was talking about the struggle she had living in our culture (Canada) while trying to follow her religion. Everyone was really supportive. I can't remember how it came up exactly, but the subject of sharia law was discussed which got me tense. I vividly recall saying that it was obvious someone like her would never do some of the things required by Islamic laws, such as stoning me to death. She paused for a moment before saying, "Well, if the law allowed it, it would be my duty."
I will spare you the details of the emotional implosion that happened in my brain, but it only got worse when I realized that no one in our "progressive" and accepting group bothered to object. I got as far away from those people as fast as possible and really looked at what I believed. I still have no words and I will never understand that mindset.

I appreciate that. Whenever I say something bigoted and hypocritically generalizing, I try to remember that people are different. An ideology is an easy thing to hate, but people are individuals and individuals are unique. They have facets and the potential to be more.
So, I'm also sorry for a lot of the shit I say. Because in reality, I'm harbouring loads of hatred over something that happened years ago and the actions of others. Yeah, Islamic terrorism is widespread, but is me hating all Muslims any different than a crazed BLM member hating all white people?
I can't promise to drop the hate for the ideology. Yet, anyway. But I am happy to give the individuals a chance. There are very few truly evil people in the world.

I had a friend who turned SJW as well. I can say for sure that there was a switch that happened because before 2016 we haven't usually found it hard to talk to eachother. I'll admit that around 2014 to 2015 it was a drag talking to me because I was in college at the time studying veterinary medicine to be a vet-tech (aiming to take the test upcoming spring 2018 by the way), because I was constantly stressed from tests, studying for hours on end and having only three hours of sleep on average per night. It wasn't till a year ago we stopped being friends. This was actually a good thing but it did hurt, because we worked on so many projects together and they were there for me at the most awkward and depressing years of my life in high school. This wasn't just someone I couldn't stop being friends with, without a good reason. I won't lie, somewhere briefly during my stressed out, lack of sleep period of time in college: I had some SJW views. I don't know how they got there or why I had them but I'm glad they stopped because they were terrible ideals. So when my friend suddenly became an SJW, I knew what they were thinking. It's goddamn scary when that happened because SJW'S do think alike and it's all pretty damn blatant what they think about based on their actions. Their thought process is in-fact from my person experience as hypocritical, back-ass and full of shit. It's so obvious my confirmation is technically pointless. So when I knew that I just know I had to stop being friends with them because unlike me, they were getting worse. They told me I was a privleged white male and all that usual bullshit and all those buzzwords. When it came to discussing anything it had to turn into a debate or they had to exclude me in someway. So I had to break away from them the best way I knew how and that was sharing a facebook post of a meme, that said (paraphrasing here) "To all women of America with the same rights as men". Say the least, my old friend who I once loved as a sibling was 'disappointed' I shared that and they couldn't believe I thought in that way. Good riddance for my sanity and to be frank; their's as well. For all they did for me amd all that we had built I could only wish them the best, although my farewell to them was a harsh one. I could only imagine how they bring me up in conversation now to their SJW circle. A longtime friend that betrayed them or some moron they thought who was a good friend. It's probably obvious that I still respect them because I never refer to them in a negative light, only their new found toxic ideals that torn our friendship apart. The saddest thing is that they weren't the only friend that became an SJW I had to break ties with.

Sam, it's not even politics. It's base tribal behavior that masquerades (somewhat) as politics. It is fueled by paranoia, group think, and fear and they believe they can spread it through violence.

Blaire, I know how you feel. I haven't been threatened with a knife, because apparently I am too intimidating for that, but I was in a similar situation. I had moved in with my best friend of 8 years. He had just gotten together with this sjw/feminazi who white knighted him harder than I have ever seen anyone white knighted before. She ticked all the boxes: Needing to be saved/protected from abusive boyfriend, ex-husband keeping her daughter away from her, needing an emergency place to stay, etc... Her and my views clash immediately. Suddenly my friend is no longer my friend. He starts talking behind my back, trying to turn our mutual friends away from me, and just being all around horrible. It culminated with cops being called because of a facebook post. It was in response to one the sjw wrote about me, but somehow mine was "Harassing and threatening" when all I did was ask for help. Shortly after, I moved out and into a better situation, and believe it or not court was involved.
These people are toxic and they do nothing but spread toxicity. They want to be miserable and make everyone around them miserable. Needless to say, this situation is what threw me into the anti-sjw youtube scene and why I have my own channel now. So thank you for being one of the brave ones.

2 years ago I almost got stabbed by my college roommate. She wrestled me to the ground with scissors in her hand, I picked up the nearest textbook and hit her with it and ran out of the room. I reported her to the school after reporting her weeks earlier with a recording of her psychotic rambling of the spirits in her gall badder and how she would kill me if I told anyone about her psychic abilities. The school did nothing about her and she still goes here. America is hella messed up and you just fix every situation. Long story short, I understand that stressful situation.
This is why you don't report things to the school, you report them to the police.

As somebody who's actually been stabbed in the back of the neck by an insane co-worker, I sympathize with you. I wouldn't wish that sort of physical or emotional trauma on anyone. I'm glad that you got out of there okay and that you no longer have to deal with those idiots.
I also understand your hesitation in calling the police; however after discovering that my attack was premeditated I've found that I'm far more cynical the prospects of ruining somebody's life. When it's a choice between having someone potentially taking your life from you, and you putting them through the hell of the legal system...call the cops.
Had I been in the same sort of situation after what I've been through, I can't say that door wouldn't be full of bullet holes...especially if I suspected that everyone else in the other room was willing to collaborate with a potential murderer and end my life.

She’s (cough cough) VERY apologetic to any students of color and is very rude to the paler students, especially the boys. Recently she made “safe space” rules. We are not allowed to say the word gay, call anyone an SJW, have any quote on quote “racist comments” against the CHARACTERS in the book To Kill A Mockingbird, or call anyone anything derogatory. She’s awful. I chose to write about common prejudice against conservatives for my equality essay and I had to rewrite the entire thing because “that doesn’t exist”.
