Personally, I don’t know how sustainable your incredible commitment to sending post cards can be given the growing size of your patreons and friends, however on a personal note, I love to receive them and have kept them all. Thanks for another amazing video and a piece of my Saturday morning.

You know what’s interesting about you guys is - Your practical - your straightforward-your learning and growing at a sensible rate - and your not trying to do questionable trips that might be beyond your scope right now . Plus you have stuck with the plan and grown into the plan and not jumped from your original boat with out taking the time to learn .
I am confident I will be watching you for some time rather than reading a sad report of a major failure which can’t be said for a couple of other UK sailing based You Tubers that frankly are a sad nightmare waiting to happen .
Well we certainly are getting to know Cadoha really well, warts and all, and the 'plan' is always evolving as the world around us changes, but we're really excited to carry on building out our anchorages website and that feels like a worthy mission to be on 🙏🏻☺️⛵️

Durlston Castle may be a glorified Victorian folly, but I absolutely love it. With its globe, it conjures up a fantasy world, full of mystery. It also has a great tea room!
Absolutely *LOVE* that rope swing! We are all still children at heart, whether we are 10, 20, 30 .... or 70, and the adrenaline rush from being complete idiots is well worth doing what Carly did! 10,000 hero points to her and her shaking foot

Gosh, what a beautifully edited channel from an impressive couple exploring such a beautiful historic island. I've been parked across from a fishing fleet and market in Mexico so usually kayak over for my fresh seafood but feel rather foolish seeing your resourceful and even more beautiful hunt. Particularly as my 89 year old father helped create modern spearfishing back in San Diego CA. I'll be back with him in two days for our annual family reunion at the beach. Love the postcards, great classy touch.

I live in Australia and have been to the UK only once, you have a beautiful country with a feel of history all around you wherever you go.
There's certainly no shortage of history and stories from the past and yes we'e also spoiled with so much amazing natural beauty everywhere it's almost easy to take for granted, although Oz has some pretty epic spots too, I'm watching a Youngbloods video right now 🤣

Hi , some us were there in the 1950,s and a model 0 gauge electric train set exabichion in the basement of the castle , walked around the shore line on a very low tide , passed the old life boat station . Thanks for your videos , magic on our door steps .💗👍👍👍

Ah Lovely Swanage my favourite Place , Spent many a Good time there at Anchor , in the pubs Fish and Chips to die for, wake up on a Sunday morning with a cup of tea and sit in the cockpit with the Sally Army Band playing on the front, AND the toot of a Steam train in the background , BLISS . Cheers
We had a few good days at anchor too, great spot, even held fast in 35kts of wind too 👌🏼

Fond memories of Swanage Bay. Family Whit Weeks dingy sailing in a Mirror and trips out to all the attractions of the area. Ballard Downs and Globe included.

Enyoyed the video 👍🏻💚. Got the advice about Swanage castle just a bit too late 😢. Just passed it a week ago during holiday and chose to drive on to Studland and Old Harry's Rocks, which were quite amazing too.
I mean time spent at Studland bay and old Harry is never a wasted day, that's for sure. The entire Dorset coast is really beautiful ☺️🙏🏻
@@CadohaAdventures This was my first time travelling in southern England and we spent most time along the coast in Somerset and North Devon. But it was a beautiful experience and I'm certain to return to spend more time along the Jurassic coast. Your video's are an inspiration for that.

Dom, We love postcard too, had a wonderful box full as kids, it was a analogue Instagram to look thru All the exotic place they came from.
Sadly at a friends place one day and she got a card in the post, glanced at the photo, read the note and 😮 tossed it in the bin 😱
When I think of all the time we spend finding, writing, posting etc cards….. for barely 10sec……. Never sent her a card again!

I remember the swing mooring I was on and at £170 each, I opted out for a magnet instead.

How did you get on with the snapping shrimp? Anchored there, and in the middle of the night woke up to the sound of somebody eating "crisps". On the south coast it only seems to be Weymouth. Love the channel.
I didn't hear anything, although truth be told, I'm actually prescribed not one, but two haring aids, so it's very unlikely I could hear them even if I wanted to. Carly didn't mention anything either, so, no bother for us.

Great solar setup but what do you do in winter ?
Great question, in the winter we have been building out non solar systems, we have a log burner that we heat the boat with, heat our water with and cook on too. We power down the big draining systems like the freezer and fridge and have a cool box outside.

Your anchor ball is to low, can’t be seen from astern . Masked by boom and stowed mainsail, needs to be higher up and slightly slack so ball moves as boat moves. More visible. 👍👍

Sure, one day, but so far no one has done what we feel is a particularly good job (on CZcams) of capturing the best bits of the UK yet, where as plenty of people have documented the Med and Caribbean, so once we've built out our Anchorages pages with a respectable amount of destinations then I'm sure we'll be heading off over the horizon, that's the plan anyway.
