to be fair this folding phone being the only option was an absolute joke, you'd have to be rich or stupid to ever buy a phone like this but the newer folding phones a much better quality and are reasonable consumer products

Funny part is that they actually use glass in the displays and you could also hear the typical sound from glass when it finally broke. the glass is however as thin as possible and strong most likely hardened so it could be bent quite tight.

Here in Minnesota and many other places, we get annual cicadas, and when you get used to them they're pretty calming to be around. My family rents a cabin every year and there are always cicadas up there, and you quickly drone out the noises of them.

I only found these videos from watching tech reviews and seeing the "deeper grooves at level 7" comments and was curious where they were coming from. So glad I did because I fucking love this guy's sense of humor and calm voice. These videos are legit therapeutic... Except for the part where he scratches them on the outside with a razor. That sound gives my eyeballs goosebumps.

Oh gawd, the cicadas! Here in Ontario Canada they are so much louder. The ones here start off with a low buzz that gradually gets higher in tone until it feels like it's in your head. Each one lasts about 30 seconds. Man, that sound is one thing I'm not looking forward to this summer.

Being that the Flexpie 2 just released, I'm just discovering this video of the durability of the first Flexpie. This is well done and rather convincing! Think you might do the same durability test with the Flexpie 2? I'm sold either way because I personally like this format factor over the Samsung Fold 1 or 2. 👍
Learning about this phone just now, this fella had a different approach on things than Samsung still does, in their fifth iteration. Also very interested in Flexpie 2. Although a bit dated now, it seems it's still their latest phone.
