I just got top denture yesterday morning. 6 teeth pulled out. My face is a bit swollen. Yesterday was mild pain. Today no pain just a little sore. I noticed i cant talk normal. This is only the second day. This is a new thing for me. Thanks for your video.
Thank you I'm experiencing allot of hun pain in my upper gums by the end of the day, it's something new I don't know why it just came about 10 months later but it's almost a throbbing fire sensation like my gums are burning, I checked for thrush but looks all clear it's as if the suction of my uppers are bringing to much blood to the surface and causing pain, my dentist did suggest first to try to not sleep with them in which I do a lot cause I hate the feeling of no teeth in my mouth it's something I just haven't adjusted to yet as well as letting my significant other see me with out them, I just don't want him to wake up and see me laying there next to him in the morning no teeth it's still quite embarrassing but have incredibly straight, white beautiful teeth is a awesome experience. Definitely no regrets. I think I'll make a update video this week as I haven't updated my progress for months. Thank you for the kind words❤
Just had the rest of my upper and lower remaining teeth removed and now using my immediate dentures.I sing and play bass guitar in a classic rock cover band so a main concern was if I can continue to enjoy singing.I see that other new denture users sing to get used to them with there speech so I'm that much more inspired now to continue singing and and know that its helping me at the same time with my regular speaking. I'll try to be update my progress as I go along. Best wishes to all and smile on 😁👍

Wow I just got my upper partials Thursday (have 6 teeth replaced)and I have chewing issues.The good thing is I can take them out if I want to eat foods like steak etc.The dentist did not tell me about these problems.I have been biting the right side of my jaw.I take them out and soak them overnight.Well it's better than having no teeth.😊😊😊
I just got my temporary set this last Monday 1/29/24. They fit great other than a huge swollen spot on my right bottom. My talking is so bad I can’t definitely tell and yes it’s more the S’s . Yours looks great
This short is quite old. So Did you find out that adjustments won't actually make your denture smaller unless you have dentist completely make a new denture?
So still having issues they want another ten grand to actually put W implant studs in surgically on the bottom I'm really having a rough time eating after a year still that's why I thought the 25,000 I already pop s as it s between the surgeon on prosthodontic was going to cover that second bottom implant surgery but they kinda tricked me.... so I'm really upset currently trying to find a solution I mean year they look great but what's the point of they c aren't what I paid for .... how's your journey?
I am going to be getting upper and lower dentures in the next 3 months. My bottom dentures will have 2 implants to snap them in. My question is, do you feel the palate of your top dentures? I'm just worried about gagging.
I haven’t watched all of the videos yet, so forgive me if this has been answered already: but are these dentures are like hybrid implants or what, and being so young are you hoping to eventually get implants? If you do I want to watch those videos because I have no idea really except that I was told it would be about $15,000 for a mouthful lol.
So what will be the difference between what you have now & "regular" ones my dentist said some ppl keep the immediate ones so that saves money...I ask cause I need some 😊
I can only wish, im still overwhelmed and confused. Im 38 male with Sjogrens i work as a server and hsve to have top dentures asap i need around 8 extractions. I can't afford implants, i can afford the extractions and regular dentures if google price is right ($1k-$3kish) for top. But i read i have to be toothless for months n months. The depression n tooth pain is unbearable. No insurance all cash would be payment
Being a server , you may qualify for your state Medicaid program which would cover 100% extractions & your choice of immediate or permanent dentures. Please look into it. The dental in the USA is horrible !! Even the best of insurance covers so very little. Good Luck my friend .
Thank you. I go on the 14th to get all my top teeth out and all but a couple of bottom teeth out which are to hold the dentures still. They are digital dentures and will go straight in. So was wondering how the after process goes. Looks good for after two weeks. I'm expecting the lispy thing. And was told they will feel like having tools in my mouth. 😬❤
I don't understand the immediate dentures. I waited about 4 weeks to get my dentures after my teeth were removed. I have had 2 adjustments so far. Im 4 weeks into wearing my dentures, they still are a little frustrating. But its getting better. I think this will be quite natural in a few more weeks. I am eating burgers, frys, and my S's are still weird. I hope you get better, they look great.
Depends if you have insurance & be sure it's good mine sucks it only covers $1000 & for me it'll be full extraction that's $1250 if you want immediate dentures it's 680 each & then after if you want regular it'll be 800...hope that helps 😊

Sorry I'm just seeing this ! but my color is the 3rd one on the list from the whitest but these are just my temps for my perms I'm going to go 1 or 2 shades whiter because they do fade and stain a bit with time so the whiter and brighter the better imo. 😁it really is depending on your foods and drinks choices. I don't drink a lot of soda but I do have coffee everyday and I vape so for the price I paid I'd really love to keep them as new, shiny and white as possible for as long as I can.
