Just got to the part where Steve is talking about Aero, and he is correct, it is going to print. 100 million + wallets on Coinbase and only about 10% are active currently. Steve do yourself a favor and buy Brett as well, the number one meme coin on base, $50 bil market cap inbound, also holding Coinbase stock is an obvious play, getting to be a lengthy comment so I won’t start shilling solana and solana ecosystem but those who know, know. Way later in the convo but regarding Booster Bundles I can see them performing similar or better than 3 pk blisters as an alternative to booster boxes. Boxes will probably always be king, but I can see bundles being the second option especially going forward in SV now that pull rates are less seeded in boxes. Not that I think many people are buying bundles for display purposes, but I think the new design helps for display purposes as well.

Burnout, i guess sometimes i feel it from being on Cardmarket everyday here in europe, that can get a bit much. Unfortunately, we dont often have the space here to fit much sealed investment, so i focus on slabs and now just making decks or playing the pokelottery with opening the odd pack.

Hey I made it. Hard to make lives lately the productivity goes down too much. Like to hear Steve's takes. Big thing for me and what I think it comes down to for most people in the poke flipping biz who don't invest there so deeply... If your paycheck and your investments all ride on this cardboard it is doubling up your risk. If you have a 9-5 and invest in pokemon on the side you are not subject to both things potentially blowing up together at once.
Glad you caught it and gave this take. This makes sense. Kind of like not investing in the stock of the company you work for. I get that.

Low pop cards does not equal high value.
Low pop is just a small small factor. It only works if people actually want that card and they are grading trying to get that psa 10 but it's just a difficult card so it has a low pop.

This guy had me until he brought up crypto. I work professionally in quant finance and I wish people like him knew how stupid crypto is and how much we joke about “investors” on a daily basis.
It’s painfully obvious how few people involved in the investment aspect of this hobby know of traditional finance. They’re just here to get their gambling fix.

@@reidarmor what does that even mean “the best performing asset of all time”? You are aware Apple, Microsoft and Google all have market caps well above Bitcoin, right? So that debunks that statement right there in itself. Second of all, since crypto went mainstream in 2018, it’s underperformed the S&P by a country mile. It’s a joke and a gamble and there’s a reason the only people making money off of it are involved in scams or selling courses and other bullshit. It’s impossibly pathetic and the only purpose it serves is feeding the gambling addictions of those who are too unintelligent to be an actual professional and profitable trader in markets that actually matter.
