I did try a reaper build (was garbage) but I never tried adding parrying. I’ll probs try it again but use parry this time see if it fixes the annoying sweet spot
I really love the full moon sickle, great bleed damage, and it looks cool. I think the Notched Whip is another great choice for bleed damage, I've been powerstancing them a bit, and they're pretty nice.
hey, i have noticed in many of your previous videos that you speak about split damage like its something bad, but actually its one of the best things in ds2 sotfs since it works differently than the rest of the games because the spells that infuse weapons add a +50 and then increase that elements damage by another 30% if i remember correctly, which means that you get significantly more ar (especially with katanas that have 150 counter) from an infused weapon that is buffed by the corresponding spell than a pure physical weapon,

I tried a grim reaper build and all the reaper weapons; they all kinda suck. Their stats are fine but the sweet spot mechanic makes them very hard to enjoy using.
Can't wait for the advance guide that'll bring a nuance discussion of the reapers movesets, combos, roll catches, stanceswap synergy, good weapon pairing and reverse jump attacks and how reapers have the farthest reach out of most weapon archetypes. But I can only hope for so much.
This guy shows off the weapons against different enemies with different builds. There is no conistency whatsoever so there is no chance he would pull off an advanced guide for anything.
