- This is Spiritual Studies session #23. This session gives you a full broad understanding of Pythagoras, what he did, what he inspired, and what beliefs he espoused in the ancient world.
The first part of the talk is all about Pythagoras the man, later his influence in the philosophical. spiritual, religious, and scientific realms.
Lastly, the talk broadly discusses the effects of occult traditions, secret societies, and the like, tying Pythagoras's Brotherhood to the Hermeticism, Freemasonry and all manner of initiatory rites.
As one of those kids who struggled with and was disinterested in math, I can 100% verify that I would have been much more committed to improving if it was taught alongside the philosophy that originated from it. Awesome video!
DEFINITELY!
Changing my mindset to study it’s origin helped me understand math a lot more. A good book I recommend is “mathematics for the non mathematician”
Agreed
@@folgee7368 thank you! Will check it out
Yeah, you space out in math class only to have your daydreams interrupted when your math teacher starts manically screaming about the plight of the bean and the cannibalistic hell hole that is Chipotle xD
33:00 brief intro area
35:50 occultism start
excellent introduction! Might I add an addendum: To the question of Pythagoras' aversion to eating beans.. Whatever scholarly opinions are referenced in this video are more than likely right, I think it's important to add in another perspective, albeit one from a questionable source. Manly P. Hall writes in his book Lectures on Ancient Philosophy "One of the symbolic aphorisms of Pythagoras enjoined the disciple to abstain from the eating of beans. In its literal sense there is seemingly no reason whatsoever for the admonition. Among the Greeks, however, beans were used in gambling and various games of chance, and the esoteric purpose of the admonition was to discharge man's reliance upon auspicious fortune; for he who cosigns himself to the vagaries of chance in reality rests his fate upon his own integrity."
Wow. Thank you for the addendum. 😀
Damn, so friggin love your channel. The exact thing I was looking for; this is massive work, love the synthesis. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks for the in-deep work you presented here! I am grateful. I discover now that I am a pythagorean, without even knowing it. Impressing, getting shivers down my spine...Thanks again!
Wow. I came into a recent deep interest of better understanding Pythagoras and what he might have been taught during his time at the ancient mystery schools. Curiously I clicked on your video and ended up listening to the entire talk. Excellent explanation, summary and stories you have included here. Your channel is incredibly underrated. Please keep up the good work.
You've earned by subscription and I'll be sure to browse around your other videos too. Thank you for this!
Amazing job! Thank you so much 🙏🏻
Thank you for this. I was looking into the ult of pythagoras and the holy geometric calculations they are doing and your story clears up a lot for me which I did not know yet. It provided me with a great and clear introduction!
Your videos are really excellent - your articulate and broad ranging scope is really admirable ! And you clearly love these subjects - wonderful stuff !
Thank you so much for putting this all together, it was fascinating and very useful.
Outstanding video. Thnx! Keep up the excellent work.
Woah! I loved it Thank you! Now I need to find time to watch allll your other videos!!
My man, thank you SO much for this. I've been seeking the link between the mathematical aspects of pattern formation, expression and the so called spiritual side of things for years now. It makes so much sense that the philosophical, mystical side of the topic in question was stripped away, presumably to favor utilitarian-industrial goals.
The conscious construction of strong mind based on the same principles that bring together a life form is, I think a worthy goal indeed.
Thank you so much for this
We are now studying structural resonance in forms of shattering cancer cells. Somehow all these major new cancer treatment centers haven't hear of this yet. Just needed a few experiments with structures and numbers.

I'm doing the same thing too! Vibration and sound therapy as well as using MWO to create harmonious electric fields
Big pharma doesn't want a cure only treatments bring in the big bucks lol
I'm very happy that you are the first person other than me to come to the conclusion that pythagoreanism is the Hermetic tradition. Meaning in more explicit terms - that the secret society that was practicing and using the Hermetic treatises that we now call today the corpus hermetica was the pythagoreans and the neopythagoreans. I loved how you express this in your video because it's the obvious conclusion. However I was hoping you could add something more in your explanation of why you think that is the situation. Otherwise great video you covered all the important aspects of this huge figure so that people can see how important it is and why they should pursue further research. (I consider myself a modern Pythagorean and I approve this video)
❤ thank you for sharing
Thanks for such a interesting lecture. Thanks alot. Highly appreciated
Nice breakdowns and knowledge.
How does this not have more views?
people aren't conciouss enough yet to understand esoteric content into depth ..
Groups only want those looking for the answers to find this stuff

thank you, this was so interesting
Thank you very much for this ✨
excellent presentation !
Cheers!

Sound is the key, everything has a frequency and you can change your frequency with meditation and singing, praying or spells.
Great channel bro
They found a Sumerian tablet, also known as Plimpton 322, is a clay tablet from ancient Mesopotamia that dates back to around 1800-1600 BCE. It is considered one of the oldest known examples of a mathematical tablet and contains a table of Pythagorean triples, which are sets of numbers that satisfy the Pythagorean theorem.
Beautiful knowledge brother 🔥🔥🔥 you should cover more esoteric figures!
EXCELLENT job, as usual. Small thing - there's no L in Tetractys.
I'm here to learn
Just found your channel and enjoyed the video a lot. Just want to say one thing. From what I've learned over the years reincarnation and transmigration are two different things. Reincarnation is like being born into a new body. Whereas transmigration is more like; the best analogy I've heard is the soul is like a radio signal and we're like radios you break one radio the signal isn't gone. It just finds the next closest version of you. I'm not a scholar on these ideas and theories so really I'm just giving you food for thought. Something to look into. Thanks for the knowledge keep it up.
Your So TY TY TY Now I know where my Soul Is From
Thank you so much for your brevity. Bravo bravo bravo!!!
*It all originates from the Egyptians! 👁💡*
Egyptians priests managed to maintain knowledge before the great floods (check Plato - Timaeus and Critias)
Egyptians circumcised which means they were from somewhere with a more wet climate prior to Egypt. Maybe Indus Valley. Mehgarh society predates Egyptians.

For those wondering, the ocultism part is at 35:50.
I didn’t know that Apollo was associated with the triangle. That’s really interesting because Apollo is the god of the oracles and the oracles were called Pythia.
@Isme Iis what?
Also Themistoclea was his teacher
@@olive8128 :o yeah that checks out! Thanks for letting me know that was such a good catch.
@@YellowPsych allot of women philosophers from the 6th century who followed Pythagoras where wiped out from history when the Romans abolished paganism. Same with the oracles of Delphi. No one was allowed to visit the temples and they were destroyed.

As above , So below
Great presentation, but one small quibble - bees do NOT make hexagonal honeycombs.
As you would expect they actually make circular ones. But the activity in the hive raises a temperature enough to melt the wax, and when the lattice structure reforms it does so in a hexagonal pattern because this is the most geometrically stable (this is also why if you put a lot of bubbles together on your countertop or something you will see that they form intersections at straight line instead of the expected curves). No doubt still impressive and a demonstration of natural law but the bees aren't _quite_ smart enough to have figured that out on their own.
that's really cool. I didn't know this.
Even better!
Triqitera symbols to me suggests that the three fold beliefs reached as far as the celts and vikings
Vitruvian man by Leonardo is also using all this to show the structure of the universe Above.
Higher institutions like colleges and universities do oral lectures predominantly over handing out written materials like in primary school b/c your double exposure to the subject material increases the chances you’ll retain the information in lieu of egotism and wanting to be written about in order to be famous
Are there any good books on these topics? Any writings from pythagoras himself? I'm having trouble finding books that speak of more than just the math portion of it.
Validating
If you're able to find it, there is a great book condensing Pythagorean ideas called "The Beginner's Guide to Constructing the Universe." It's a lovely book, fascinating and instructive, and will have you searching for a compass and straight edge.
Regarding the central fire cosmological model: this doesn't necessarily mean the Sun as one might gather from another pre-Socratic Pythagorean named Philolaus of Croton who posited a central fire that was invisible, an astronomical body which the Earth and Moon together with the Sun orbited.
Funny, I popped back in on this session recently and caught that in retrospect as well. I've heard some other interpretations of this as well. Nice catch.
Bit conflated though, because it certainly isn't to say helio-centricism wasn't around, but it is to say this quote isn't the deadset place to find it.
At around 22:30-23:00 how do you think Pythagoras knew how a fetus looked when comparing it to a bean? Thank you for the great video. 👍 🙏 👌
The ox whisperer 😂😂😂
Being kind to animals is not silly, it is basic humanity. Otherwise very good content.
You will find references to mysticism with Isaac Newton, not just him thou... many scientists, philosophers as they were called, would pass their hypothesis to the forces unknown to say at least. Sources and understanding were then related to the reason or whatever else they were prone to give the most of the merit. Newtons Principia is Philosophiae Naturalis Principia Mathematica. He sets his thesis and says then that they are pretty much mystical. Greatness with them is that they give great (better) explanations.
He died on the bean field so he got reincarnated in beans. That's why he never wanted to eat beans, cuz he knew that's gonna be him in the next life 😂 This is the most tragicomic thing ever.
Yes the earth is round, flat & round, NOT a sphere like many in today’s world still believe.
Where do these quotes by Pythagoras come from?
I wonder if there is a connection between Cynicism and the Essenes, like maybe they are the same cult in different regions. Both are centered around modesty and mysticism and are said to be connected to Pythagoreanism.
I will note that Pythagoras had a skill he knew to talk to animals, for he understood characteristics that were similar like a wicked women being akin to a bear and there’s a proverb in a sacred book that was written by a Hebrew author who i studied like Pythagoras so is not out of place as it would seem
Meet on the level and leave on the square
Actually, bees make their hives as packed cylinders. As the cylinders harden they compress, which makes the sides flatten. This creates the hexagonal shape. It's not the bees, rather the nature of substances as they change.
Great job with the video man, it was on point and actually pretty funny. But next time please don’t make ignorant comments on Christianity; the condemnation of “sexual sin “did not come hundreds of years into the future, it existed within the Jewish law for thousands of years. And Christianity is simply the fulfillment and the new covenant of Judaism. Anyways, Thanks for the video 👍🏼

Hex = Six… Otherwise Flawless
Christian trinity is not related. His PYRAMID has 4 corners of a square. The corners the Bible talk about are quarters of a CIRCLE (pie). Its why geometry is key. Angles & degrees. The compass of the universe is NORTH = UP, SOUTH = DOWNN East to West is CLOCKWISE & West to East is COUNTERCLOCKWISE.
not triangles! Pyramids. Because its the upper struction of the Universe or Tree of Life. Square the CIRCLE is tied to the structure...
10:47 its a shame that we know the anciant Greeks learned from the Egyptians but we don't give the Egyptians credit.
Yep all apart of white supremacy to keep that part quite
Where did you come across Ancient Greek “cynic” = dog?
modern Greek for dog is σκύλος, and Ancient Greek is κύων
I’ve never heard Cynic is derived from
The Greek word Dog before, but I’m
Sure you have your source
cynic
1550s, "one of the ancient sect of philosophy founded by Antisthenes," from Latinized form of Greek kynikos "a follower of Antisthenes," literally "dog-like," from kyōn (genitive kynos) "dog" (from PIE root *kwon- "dog").

The Pythagoreans, as we call them, certainly did eat meat in the early times of their development, but only that which had been purified through sacrifice to the gods (the later generations are reported to have abstained entirely). Irrational numbers did not exist and such concepts were considered an abomination. Only the purity of rational, positive integers with divine reticent powers underpinned all creation. Needless to say and according to legend Pythagoras himself, that great, enobled, pacifist, philosopher, murdered one of his own followers who proved the existence of the square root of two using Pythagoras's own, accredited, theorem. It is reported that they took him out on a boat and drowned him at sea.
oh my gosh i just cant with the beanfield theory, like, no. just n o
Pythagoreans were not secretive. There is a compilation of the so called Pythagorean Quotes that anyone can enjoy, the best one being
*All Is Number*
Why is that? Any and all numbers are axioms...take it from there
Everything is 1 and 2 digital 0 and 1 it is a simulation
Actually you haven't dug deep enough and following the superficial distortions created by those trying to use it as a system to reconcile everything that is fundamentally opposed. You mention these things without even recognizing it.
It all comes down to its core four rules ad a unspoken fifth.
1) Infinity cannot be represented so the first shape is simply to isolate the patters produced within.
2) Mind/Soul is represented by a single dot.
3) Straight Lines are male/masculine.
4) Curved Lines are female/feminine.
5) The unspoken fifth rule is all patterns are composed of pure impersonal spirit/energy.
Properly following Sacred Geometry and you have Quadrotheism at its foundation. The first shape created is an Octahedron, a purely male shape in this system. On its center it can rotate on 3 axes that at 180 degrees each forming 3 equatorial rings as parameters for 3 spheres. From it are created not one but Three Purely female shapes simultaneously.
The core principle is "The One" having become self formed from the unknowable by his one will, and the Three are the result of reversing the self creation process creating three coequal, con-substantial and cooperative female counterparts.
In short, One God and three Goddesses as the true Divine Unity.
That's why Medieval sources proclaimed Sacred Geometry "evil and a counterfeit" to the trinity, or for others a counterfeit to their Yahuah and Allah.
Most so called monotheistic and occult sources only acknowledge one ring to try and force fit it into a monotheistic or duo-theistic narrative. They have to break the processes to try and make their imposed nonsense and rhetoric work loosely but cannot convert it following these proper processes to connect the non-physical with the physical .
This is the actual basis behind later medieval inventions of "The Devil having three She-Devil Consorts" representing a prior polytheism.
*ahem* you gotta stop clearing your throat into the mic, bruh. *ahem*
