  • This is Spiritual Studies session #31. This session focuses on Mesopotamia and how this polytheism that shifted in the ancient world became the Bible. From Sumeria, to the Assyrians and Babylonians, onto the writers of the canonical Bible and all of its apocryphal rough drafts, we can tease out the history of thought, the line that went from goddess worship, to God slaying Leviathan.
    Although the study of Sumeria is overflooded with Ancient Alien interpretations, this talk focuses on the comparative religion perspective, keeping to the myths and the interchanges of ideas from culture to culture.
    We use the Enuma Elish as a reference point, elaborating on the pantheon on the ancient world and noting the points of interest throughout. From here one can discuss how the creation of man was told, how the earth was formed, and outside of mythos, how religion became unnatural.

    Just came across your channel and i want to say please don't stop man i've been connecting the dots as i have been studying more and more about ancient cultures and just realized how much is taken from the sumerian texts. I grew up in a strict roman catholic church but something always told me something isn't right here. But your work here will be extremely valuable to the next curious person.

    I studied in an Eclectic Wiccan Coven many years ago. After gaining my 3rd Degree I left my Coven. Spent a little over 20yrs studying everything I could get my hands on that had anything to do with Babylon.
    Never wanted to start my own Coven but it became clear it was time when 6 people asked me to teach them within 8wks. So "Twin Rivers Rising" a Babylonian Reconstructionist Tradition was born.

    Few things that stood out to me as I was listening. "Apsu" is cognate with "Amruth" (p->m, s->r, both these transitions are changes in manner of articulation keeping the position of articulation the same, and then add 'th' at the end), which is the life-giving water in Hinduism. The word decomposes as "A-mrtyu" (meaning "un-dying"). Mamu is cognate with man, and also the sanskrit word "man" which refers to that part of our brain which is capable of reason, AKA logos (the hindu idea of the brain divides it into 3 parts, ahankaar, man and bhuddi, which are analogous to the psychological concepts of the id, ego and superego) also, humans in sanskrit are refered to as "Manush" meaning descendants of manu, which is again cognate with mamu.
    I didn't finish the video yet, but I'll edit this comment as I catch new stuff while watching it.
    P.S. I am only relating this to Hinduism because that is the religion I am most familiar with, being a Hindu.
    P.P.S. If you're wondering how in god's name "s" and "r" could be the same position of articulation, the hindi/sanskrit "r" is not rolled back, you place your tongue the exact same as it would be when you're pronouncing "s".

    Both the Bible and polytheic societies such as the Greeks, Romans, Celts were inspired from Sumerian beliefs, those in turn probably came from stone age legends when hunter gatherers regrouped in forums to exchange goods, experience and beliefs.

    Just a note: it never says in the Tanakh that giants existed before the flood. If you read it in Hebrew, it says the Nephilim were on the earth in those days but that doesn’t mean “giant” it means “fallen” or “feller.” And also, “sons of god” was reference to the children of Seth.
    The giants aren’t referenced in cannon Bible until after the exodus when the Israelites fight the Anakim, the sons of Anak who were giants.

    Workers /Slave race, is self explanatory, in their cast system...
    My question is...who wete the 'Priest Class'??? on which the 'Hebrews' base their genetic 'rites' from?
    Could it be from the genetic mix of female goddess (Anunnaki) and male worker? And wasn't Enki's Mother, a different species, than Anu's first wife?

    The whole gender debate crap honestly is more modern than ancient. Plenty of places had male run pantheons before 1700 BC and Babylon. Just because you like the idea of the sacred feminine doesn’t mean it actually holds water when you look at the details.

    • @digitalwolf8098
      @digitalwolf8098 Před 2 lety

      Yes there are men and women sites globally. Example Australia and sites for both sexes (secret men's and women's business) It is the loss of the sacred feminine and sites that has caused a downfall. This needs to be reignited with the masculine and bringing divine union. Hence restoring cosmic law and equilibrium. Not feminism.
      The biggest error we make is swinging to feminine. Instead of simply acknowledging both. It's not that hard.

The words were finally uttered of the pain I felt as a woman on this planet after years of rape, incest and mental abuse. Feminism has done more good than bad to save the lives of those abused by the patriarchy that still seems to want to destroy natural law.... We as a people have been strategically ripped out of history books, systematically raped, controlled and mentally abused for eons.... I came to same conclusion when watching another video on Adam and Eve based on someone else’s interpretation. Adam was seen more of Bull as you said here or Gorilla class while Eve was of the serpent class she held will power while Adam stayed a slave to god. Also there is a lot holes in Adam and Eve story like how did she know she wasn’t supposed to eat the fruit yet never had a conversation with God or Adam about it, they barely had any interactions. Also god did wipe them out of existences. It weird to the creation of the universe/evolution is sort of back up by genesis too which I find really strange…darkness to light, waters, land, sea creatures to land creatures, humans and then it was Adam & Eve. Also, Jesus comings back thing but first he has to comeback like everyone else.

  • @bobbysvenne9894
    @bobbysvenne9894 Před 2 lety +1

    Mate what are you talking about? 🤣
    Let me clarify:
    1). Ab-zu = Africa
    2). Marduk made society patriarchy oriented in the Middle Eastern area because he was awarded that territory to rule after his conflict with Innanna. On the Indian subcontinent which was given to Innanna, there was a matriarchal society & in some small communities in and around India, matriarchal cultures still do exist albeit amongst relatively small groups of people.
    3). En-Ki (EA) was given Africa to govern in order to oversee the mining of gold (the African continent contains more gold than anywhere else on earth). It's no coincidence that Homo Sapiens originated in Africa & yes the first humans were indeed brown skinned as attested by Adams original name in Sumerian lore = Adamuh, which literally means "He who's skin is the hue of clay", i.e: brown. There is a place called Adams Pillar in Africa which indegenous people say is the birthplace of Humanity. The Anunnaki were already in Africa mining gold in what is today South Africa, En-Ki was studying the animal/plant life & came across apes which he captured & studied. He told his idea to his half sister & the chief medical officer of the mining expedition NinHurSag & with her medical expertise & En-Ki's knowledge of genetics, they concluded that it could probably be done & they took the idea to their half brother (Heir to the throne of Nibiru, En-Ki's younger half brother, NinHurSag's half brother as well, the commander of the expedition & as he held rank 50 out of a maximum of 60 the highest ranking Anunnaki after his father and their King Anu who held rank 60 & his mother, the queen An-Tuh, who held the rank 55 ) En-Lil. The three were all half siblings through their father Anu, but all had different mothers. The reason En-Lil was the crown prince despite En-Ki being the firstborn is because En-Lil's mother was a half sister of Anu, while En-Ki's mother was a concubine. Either case En-Lil was at first hesitant, but after what was more or less a revolt by the workers in the mines & after conferring with their father Anu who told them the gold must keep coming back to Nibiru, they decided to go ahead with the idea. They used their own DNA & combined it with that of an ape in order to create a being more suitable to Earth's climate. To get their DNA which has 46 chromosomes to fit with the ape's which has 48, they fused our 3rd & 4th chromosomes (yes, look it up....) & The final touch which was a slight tweaking of our DNA by En-Ki's middle son NingeshZidda in order to give us the ability to procreate. There is a lot more to the story and it's very detailed mentioning of how through trial and error they eventually made modern humans and then split it into two different genders because the first model was androgynous.
    4). En-Ki, En-Lil, NinHurSag are not actually names but titles meaning, En-Ki = Lord of the Earth, En-Lil = Lord of the command, NinHurSag = Lady of the sacred mountain.
    5). The Sumerian stories are not mythology or religious fables, they are history recorded in a very detailed and fairly straightforward fashion.
    6). The Anunnaki & the Iggiggi (watchers) are the same "being" but the Iggiggi were the workers at the way station to Nibiru that the Anunnaki built on Lahmu (Mars). They are called watchers because their job was literally being overseers.

    I find it interesting that you stress so hard, that before the advent of the 'patriarchy' and the GODS (stressed as you did) it was all worship of the goddesses. Now why is that interesting? Because IF we look back at humanity and use this change in the sex of the deity as the line of demarcation, we see that prior to the change from goddesses to GODS, humans were hunter-gatherers, and lived very primitive lives. One of the consequences of living a primitive life is that your life was more than just a hard scrabble existence, but was also short. Only AFTER the switch to the Patriarchy did civilization come into existence. Agriculture, settled life and increased life-span all came as a result. All of these things later led to Modern society and placing men on the moon, space travel and talk of settling on other planets like Mars. Seems to me that your argument in stressing female centric goddesses and the life the people had, is misplaced since none of us to day would gladly surrender our indoor plumbing, our easy access to food and water and longer lives to go back to the listless, pointless existence. Yeah, Patriarchy.

      You do know all babies start out females, correct? Therefore, you had a vagina first😊Females are more advanced than man and mature faster than man. Females used to give birth asexually/ through parthenogenesis without man, which is why the Matriarchal Society ruled in the beginning and worked as one with nature and man. You can see a lot of matriarchal societies in the animal kingdom as well. Once men (not all) started rising up and created a patriarchal society...gender war, war with nature, murder, rape, killing animals; poisoning the air, water, earth, and food became a problem etc. Not only that, but men subjugated women and became full of pride, ego driven, and wicked. Patriarchal societies created an imbalance and this is why there’s so much problems on earth present day.
      Men full of pride plagiarized the work of women Orishas and Sibyls (Sibylline Oracles) who were high priestesses, healers, midwives, and powerful women men feared. Women taught men in the beginning and men betrayed them and started calling them witches etc...Lastly, goddesses were worshipped in the beginning, which is why archaeologists found a plethora of bones and statues of women and tried to hide that fact. Look it up and be not ignorant🙏🏾

      @@yahrobichosen Oh. My. Even IF (and I am not saying it is) all you claim is true, none of it debunks what I pointed out about how society (and lifespans) changed once men took over. Archaeologists have seen the differences--as I pointed out--once the change came. Longer, healthier lives. Better living conditions and while you call it subjugation I call it a partnership. Women are important to human family life--just as females are important in all societies--well, let's look at a couple of these female dominated societies before I finish that thought. Ants, Termites, and even naked mole rats all have female centric societies, and ALL of those members who are NOT the Queen at mindless slaves. Now that I think of it, over the last few decades--since women in human society have pretty much come to dominate our government--we see that they want all humans to be subjugated by Government. It is like the idea of Freedom, Personal Responsibility and Independence are all things that Men value while (as we see from the Bees and others) women simply want CONTROL. OF everything. Go figure.

    No... you have it backwards, Sumerian mythology borrowed from older Biblical sources. First off, the Garden of Eden or Elda is not in Mesopotamia, the Babylonians placed it at the Far East just like in the Bible. Secondly "Sumer" is an unknown location that scholars can't seemingly determine or pinpoint on a map but when you look up the etymology of it, which is where the word "Summer" then Samaria which has a root word of "Samar" it gives you the same location of extreme far east as well. In Hebrew the letter S, Shin means fire, literally the Sun. Samar then which is where the words Samaria and Sumerians came from means where the Sun rises or in front of the Sun in the extreme East, the tablet of Shamash expands on this further as well. Look at old maps where ancient Greek and Babylonian cartographers placed the source of the 4 rivers coming from the Garden of Eden or Paradise... South East Asia, the Sun doesn't rise in the middle east, ancient Babylonians, Sumerians, Akkadians and Hebrews know this only people who doesn't understand their geographical mindset insists the false understanding you're trying to teach.

      What about the gods of sumerian mythology, enki, enlil and an? Why did jesus say that no one has seen the face of his father yet in the new testament, we see that moses saw the face of god.
