    Thank you so much for this information. Very clear and concise. I needed to connect my walkie talkie Bluetooth to the cardo. I found out i could only connect it to the cardo packtalk on mobile phone mode. i was hoping I could do it over the universal pairing mode but that has failed
    This video saved me from buying another set. Cheers again. I'll make a video soon on how I connected the two.

    I really thank you for your videos they are awesome for new cardo users. But now I need your help if it's possible. I have a new mobile phone from Xiaomi mi8 and Bluetooth connection is very dirty when I listen to music. That means music play slow and has very unknown sounds.i can't find any solution. Also cardo never give an answer to me

    Hi, I have a Packtalk Bold JBL. My issue is, I can’t hear my phone’s (iPhone12) ringing melody from the speaker when it rings. I can use intercom, make phone calls, listen music and also answer the phone and talk (if I see by chance while I’am riding). Regards.

      Try this: With the helmet on and your phone in your hand (and of course connected to your Bold), have someone call you. While you see the phone is ringing, turn the volume up on your phone. It should raise the ringtone's volume. I'm not certain on the iPhone 12, but many phones treat the ringtone volume different when the phone is connected to a Bluetooth device. Worth a shot for sure!

    Hi I'm having trouble, I use the phone paired for my sat nav, but when I'm connected to Bluetooth intercome mode to talk to my friend no commands from Google maps come through? Am I doing something wrong?

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 5 lety

      @Chis Cac I think you have your phone paired (do it like this video shows) and just trying to get Goggle Maps to come through, yeah? If the Packtalk isn't layering it in the background (like it does when using it in DMC Intercom Mode with other DMC headsets) you may have to go into your Goggle Maps settings and make some changes. First off, double check to make sure that you have Google Maps set to "Unmuted". Then make sure "Play voice over Bluetooth" is turned on. If all else fails, turn on "Play as Bluetooth phone call" as well (that will for sure work). The only thing about "Play as a Bluetooth phone call" is that it will interrupt intercom for a bit while it talks to you, then intercom will return. Hope that makes sense and good luck!

    Can't even see the bloody thing on my list of available devices...

    • @MotoGeekFreak

      If you have the Packtalk in phone pairing mode (pressing and holding that "Phone" button until the LED is flashing red/blue) and it's not showing up on your phone, try turning Bluetooth off on your phone and turning it back on again. Def should show up on the list!

    Been trying to connect a phone for days

    • @MotoGeekFreak
      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 2 lety

      You get it connected? Should be as easy as holding down that "Mobile" button, wait for the red/blue flashing, then select it once it pops up on your phone's Bluetooth list. If not, try the master reset on the Cardo. And if not still, reach out to Cardo for a replacement because something ain't right! Good luck
