    How to switch from Bluetooth Intercom Mode to DMC Intercom Mode and back quickly and at anytime.
    Keep in mind: when you switch the "mode", you are switching how this headset is acting as a intercom. In "Bluetooth Intercom Mode", it's acting like a normal Bluetooth headset. In "DMC Intercom Mode" you are taking advantage of this headset's mesh-network connection ability. THIS IS BY FAR THE PREFERRED MODE TO USE THIS HEADSET IN.
    I would only use bluetooth intercom mode when you absolutely have to...

    Will it automatically connect to whichever intercom when we switch in between DMC and bluetooth. Say im in DMC mode and are talking with my buddies, and i want to switch to my passenger which is using bluetooth, will it auto connect to my passenger? Or i still need to use the app to command the intercom to connect to my passenger

    Hi. So, to confirm, if I have four riders using the DMC and one rider that is connected via Bluetooth, can all five riders communicate (DMC and Bluetooth) with each other? Or would the four riders (DMC) need to switch to Bluetooth to include the fifth rider?

      @MotoGeekFreak  Před 5 lety +2

      Christopher Edwards All four riders would stay in DMC Intercom Mode, and ONE of them would use the “DMC Bridge” feature (see video on ability) to bring the Bluetooth rider into the conversation. At which point all 5 would be able to hear/talk. Hope that helps!

    I just ordered the Bold Duo for me and my wife who is just my passenger. I would like to use the DMC mode since it seems the best, but I see that according to the manual you can't share music in the DMC mode only Bluetooth. I wanted to see if that held true from your experience.

      jrockrat1 Yes, so far you can only share music while in Bluetooth Intercom Mode (not the preferred DMC Intercom Mode) but I’m HOPEFUL that will change in future updates. If they can get that feature working while in DMC Mode that would by far be the ultimate setup... Hope that helps a bit to confirm it!

      Thanks for the reply. We took them for a ride over labor day weekend and like them for the most part. We used the mic that mounts on the chin of the helmet and honestly weren't impressed with the intercom quality...much more noisy than I would have thought it would be. I'm going to switch out and mount the boom mic and I hope that sounds better.

      I wasn't able to initiate music sharing altogether. I think the problem is that when I start music playing I can't hear it. I see that music app indicates playback is happening but I hear nothing and trying to share it to the second unit does nothing either. I think you mentioned in a reply to another comment under your videos that it has to be playing already before it can be shared? Also, I'm not clear if intercom will continue to work when music is being shared. Or is it either music for both, or chat?

      Make sure yours isn't doing anything (not streaming music, not playing the FM radio, not anything) when you try to change the Mode. It has to be in "Standby" to switch, and you can tell it is when the light only flashes one time every few seconds. If it STILL doesn't switch modes when you press the Intercom and Mobile buttons at the same time (like this video is showing), something is up and I'd reach out to Cardo for sure. Hope that helps man and good luck!

      Thanks for the note - on Edge, you have to press and HOLD these buttons to make it switch. Give it a shot and let us know if that worked!

      Press the Intercom (upper) and Mobile (lower) buttons at the same time to switch between DMC and Bluetooth intercom modes 👍. Has to be in standby while doing it. Hope that helps!
