Any idea if it is better to pair the phone and GPS to the Packtalk or to pair the phone to the GPS and the GPS to the Packtalk. I wonder what the pros and cons are of different pairing scenarios.
@LTVoyager I think it's 6 one-way, half-dozen the other, and decided by what you want to have. Here's the pros/cons that I'm aware of: - When phone and GPS are paired to the Packtalk separately, you have direct access to the phone from the Packtalk (Siri/Google voice, Cardo's app, etc.) BUT you won't see your contacts or who's calling on you GPS's screen. -When you have your phone paired to the GPS, and the GPS is the only thing paired to the Packtalk, you lose access to Siri/Google voice, Cardo's app, BUT, you have your full contact list and can see who's calling on your GPS's screen. You're on the right track though. You want to do 1 of those 2 options (don't pair your phone to a gps AND the Packtalk; that will make reliability plummet). Hope that helps and good luck!
A very clear explanation ~ now I'll checkout your other videos.
Thank you
Awesome, thank you
Thanks! Helped a lot.
Awesome, thanks for the comment!
Thank you. Your videos are very clear! Any way to pair a non smart phone (with bluetooth of course!) with a Packtalk Edge just as easily?
Absolutely. Just go to the phone’s Bluetooth pairing menu…it will pair 👍
Thanks

MotoGeek Freak OK, that is about what I expected. I figured it would be too much to hope to have a GPS that could pass voice commands to the phone. 😁
