So i own a Extended cab 03 Silverado im running full focal speaker and tweeter, a very acoustic set up, will like to upgrade my bass, what 2 8" subwoofers in a ported under seat box, what do u recommend that will work well for my set up.
I’m hoping to run 8 eights in my build. Factory alternator, one amp, DVC 4. Thinking D4S JP8, and Skar ID8-D4 is what is am thinking. But I watch you to see what is best with 8” subs. That’s my jam. I’ve had 2 JL W7 8’s in the back of a 98 Camaro. JL 500/1. Did 144.7. Let me know what you think of my build ideas.
@@generalsquishyblitz2107 Maybe the bag is there to prevent any small chunks of that white styrofoam from working its way inside the subwoofer. That type of white styrofoam is real bad about flaking off into very tiny pieces and getting everywhere. The last thing you'd want is for a tiny piece of it to get jammed in the voice coil and damage it.
Would you run two of these behind the seat of a standard cab in a ported box or do two SL608s in a ported box? Seem comparable on specs but performance i think is going to lean to the 508E. What is your opinion?

@@JasonWW2000 Not being disrespectful I am just stating what I saw. I did not see anything special about it. Then I compared it to what I have B2 audio rage 8. Cost $110. Also DD608D $210. For the price of this sub what is special about it? If MBE decides to do a comparison it could prove me wrong but I am just stating what I see now.
@@JasonWW2000 not when I bought mine. I am always seeing deals or price breaks on B2 audio products. And for me anything that is within a $60 difference range is all same category just branding cost being applied.
DD will have a belt in all weight divisions pretty soon. Maybe the bag is to repel paper clips.

The bag is there for, in shipping the styrofoam doesn’t fray out and statically charge to a “ground” frame or VC.
