No, JLC has kept the movement close to the original because they're cheap. If anything, their Reverso watch-line has continued to regress over the last few decades. All the creativity has been stripped from the middle-tier models and replaced with expensive dullness. Just go check their back catalogue and wonder at all the greatness they tossed aside. Fools and their money hey.
