Dual time is beautiful but the varying textures on the sub dials are no go for me.

Beautiful watches and no disrespect to the royal oak haha. However, this may be disrespectful to the VC with green dial. I'd rather take the new omega aqua terra moonshine gold with the green dial. Less than 1/2 the cost and honestly though the movement is not as refined the dial is superior IMO...compared to the 3 hand

I absolutely adore the 3 hand version. But I have to say, the lack of hacking seconds bums me out. Idk if it’ll be a deal breaker, but I simply cannot understand why VC didn’t include this.

Is omega just going with cheaper material? Aluminum over ceramic, non-tapered bracelet yet again for a flimsy Milanese bracelet but saying its heritage? Eliminate the date feature would be fine so long as the overall size drops to 40mm and it’s flatter near l 12._ range of thickness would be attractive. Get rid of the helium escape valve. No one is using an old school watch as a dive watch these days. And can’t forget on the fly micro adjustment like what they have in the planet ocean is would be nice too.

In terms of comparison for me, JLC is 50m WR and the Patek is 30m WR. For me this is important because when I go to beach or pool, I don't want to leave my expensive watch with my wallet and clothes unguarded on the sand/pool-side, also its a bit lazy from PP, f JLC can go the extra mile surely Patek can also

The strap is vile. The gaping hole it leaves between the watch and the strap makes it look like something you fit onto a watch when the old strap has worn out.

I have a real SUB but I also bought one of these replicas from MAMACOO for piece of mind if I go to another country or if I am doing activities that can damage the watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.

JLC has completely mastered the movement game, that fact is unassailable. If they could now spend some of that R&D money on making all their cases 150M+ water resistant, I think they'd have a completely unstoppable lineup of watches. I can't bring myself to spend 10k-15k (or perhaps much more) on a piece with only 5bar. I have to constantly worry about water exposure and that's unacceptable at that price point.
