Beautiful timepiece, very under rated and have the most in house movements in the world, and a lot of their movements are in very high end watches, thanks đŽó §ó ąó łó Łó Žó żâ€ïžđ
JLC is killing it - the Duometre Heliotourbillon has to be my favourite release of the year.
That one was insane.
Please don't do those open-mouthed "I'm so shocked...please click" thumbnails, lol. Your viewers aren't kids.
Agreed, I was close to unsubscribing the moment I saw it.
The most views weâve had in 24 hours on a video that isnât a collection review. If you clicked because you wanted to learn about the watch and couldnât care less about the CZcams stuff thatâs fine. But we wouldnât even have the watch or the relationship without JLC without the views. Nothing comes for free Iâm afraid.
Fun fact, Mr. Beast actually testet if viewers click more on thumbnail when his mouth is open or closed. Closed won with around 30% more clicks.
@@joggle4321whilst that is a fun fact the results on this video remain. The thumbnail stays! After all, itâs only to get you to watch. The video is the most important part đ
@@WattsOnWatches You kind of contradict yourself there. If the tumb is to get people to click and closed mouth works better, then the thumbnail should not remain. Just test it, CZcams has that feature to roll out the same vid with more than one thumbnail, at random.
Also, I don't care, it wasn't my argument, that I don't like it, that was OngoGablogian...
That JLC is stunning. Much underrated brand. Thankfully their marketing now changed from humble and behind the scenes to loud and proud. As they should be. They deserve our attention!
Pfoeee, this watch just straight up flew to the top of my watchlist! Waiting for it to drop to âŹ20k used in a few years and def getting one!
I recently try bought a 2006 JLC GeographicâŠfor a very good priceâŠ.after many years of owning Rolexâs of various models, the Geographic is just on another level of horology. Iâd defo recommend them to anyone wanting an extremely good quality timepiece.
The Patek movement doesn't even have inner anglage at that price, what a shame
Great video guys!
Seen the release of this piece, absolutely fantastic piece. Beats any Calatrava by a mile, only to be outdone by a VC Overseas Perpetual Calendar, but those are 130k. But this JLC is simply perfect, the balance of all the elements on the dial is in a league of its own.
To be fair, the overseas perpetual doesnât compete with this. The PATRIMONY PERPETUAL CALENDAR ULTRA-THIN is the direct competitor. Thatâs also a better compare than the Patek. Itâs thin, sleek, and actually changes all the sub-dials at midnight (unlike the JLC). The JLC is about half so still a killer value, but itâs not competing with a sports watch.
Great watch. Great brand nice one guys
I think you nailed it. Truly the only reason to go up to a Patek over JLC is if you want all the genuine hand finishing. But in every other category (including accuracy) the JLC will give Patek a run for its money. I'm more of a white metal guy but the dark blue color scheme on rose gold looks fantastic.
The Doctor Strange JLC!!!! Yes a huge bargain over Patek, AND a more robust tougher movement than Patek. BUT, for me I wish the size was slightly smaller 37/38mm. The only eye soar is the year complication. However if I had the cash and knew that a 3940 or the other Perpetual calendar Patek reference 5970 (I think) was in reach. I would go with the Patek.
That's so much watch for the money. I love JLC perpetual calendars.
Agreed!
Complaints (nitpicking): (i) The movement is small for the case; (ii) 39mm for a dress watch this thin is just about the max size to me; (iii) The retail price is insane considering it was nearly 10k less only a year or two ago. That said, as a used model in a couple years itâs a buy.
JLC used to the bargain to the holy trinity but sadly the past couple years theyâve increased prices far too much.
Just a couple weeks ago they lowered the price of the Polaris.
Still an amazing brand but theyâre becoming less of a deal.
40 thousand ? more like 50 thousand (49600 to be exact)
Can I have the link to puchase the T-shirt you're wearing?

@@WattsOnWatches thanks!
There's another detail that sets the JLC above the Patek, and that's the proper year indicator - the JLC tells you it's 2024, rather than the cop out 1-2-3-4 indicator on the Patek, which is horrible
If you donât know what year youâre in, you might have bigger problems than your perpetual calendar.
Colourway. Price point. ATM machine. PIN number.
I canât be the only one that thinks this looks like a cheap fashion watch on the dial side from arms distance
pp boring jlc fantastic economic decent
Horrible machine finishing for a watch in this pricerange.
the movement is shit
I donât miss a day a week #mamacoo This show...
