    Exactly what I want to do..... But on a 4 by 8 sheet of ply and storage and drawers built in underneath! I like the technique of turning it upside down and tracing it.

    Using the track saw track for marking is such a good idea...

    Good build mate using the saw upside down works well like you did with the bosch table. My only gripe is iam not that keen on the hole for the rack and pinion knob. If it was to be permanently in place I might have thought about extending it with some bar ect so the knob sat outside the table frame. But apart from that I like it.

      Thanks. I want to be able to easily remove the saw

    Awesome build, but its funny you said no glue so if you ever want to take it apart you can.. But you'll have to drill out the plugs

    Looks really good Matt nice job. One statement you said that really opened my eyes the fact it is easy to take it out and take the saw out side. I must say your work shop with all the equipment and benches there is still good space.

    This is how I’m going to build my saw/out feed table when I get my new saw. I said this last time you made one but only now I’m getting around to it. Well...in a couple of weeks time.

      Either the Sheppach 105 2000watt or the evolution 5 1800 watt both at 255mm. Still not sure, anybody got any ideas? Concerned about the quality of the evo and if the blade on the sheppach is a non standard size needing shims.

    Well done, mate👍
    I really like the way you made this on the fly, dealing with the functionality of the saw as you went👌
    Turned out brilliantly, and gave you a far bigger work area.
    Love it.

    Matt, a really nice job. I am contemplating getting the Evolution Rage table saw as all my wood is reclaimed with the odd hidden nail and screw and will incorporate some of your ideas. Thanks.

      I got to handle the saw at Screwfix Live in Farnborough and the fence seemed ok with no play felt. The saw was on special offer but as I was with my wife I had to pass on it :-).

      @bigpete4227 Před 5 lety

      UK Tony cheers mate. I think I’ll go for the evo after all. I only use pallet wood too so it makes sense really.

    I'm about to build one tomorrow. Any good tips you've come accross since then?

    Hi Matt, an thanks for a good video :-) - I was wondering...how deep and wide is the actual table top on the Milwaukee m18fts210-121b Table Saw (Without the fence-extraction)?...and how deep did you make the table top? Thanks in advance.

  • @max1max35
    @max1max35 Před 5 lety

    Looks good - I made a similar one for my dewalt with rail cutouts. The mitre gauge at the end - what brand is it/is it any good? The included one is a bit slack!

    Looks great. When you used the holesaw in the frame, on de side, didn’t it weaken the sturdyness of it???

  • @IanGrayTheGrayMan
    @IanGrayTheGrayMan Před 5 lety

    Hi Matt. I've been following your long journey through tablesaws with great interest because I'm looking for the mythical perfect saw for myself. You did mention a while ago that the new Axminster (the AC216TS) didn't suit you, but you didn't go into any specifics. Please do! The Ax would seem to tick a lot of the boxes, so I'd love to know your reasoning about why it wouldn't work for you!
    One other question - are the mitre slots on the Milwaukee "standard" size?
    Thanks!

    • @Badgerworkshop
      @Badgerworkshop  Před 5 lety

      Its very similar to the draper I had and did not like. It looks like it has poor dust collection. The Milwaukee does have standard slots

    • @IanGrayTheGrayMan
      @IanGrayTheGrayMan Před 5 lety

      Thanks Matt. Is that definitely the new Ax you're talking about? I thought that the Draper (and others) were clones of the old version (which was clearly not up to scratch), but I may be wrong?

    • @Badgerworkshop
      @Badgerworkshop  Před 5 lety

      I have not used one but when I was shown one it looked basically the same saw. Might be great but it would not work for me

    Hi Matt, what prompted the change from the Bosch to the Milwaukee?
