After the workouts, I had ravenous hunger and consumed more calories than I normally would have had I not exercised! This resulted in weight gain with very little of that being muscle gain! I have had weight loss just by changing my diet with low to moderate exercise! Proper diet and exercise are much more effective than exercising with a poor carb-rich diet!

Dr Eckberg. Thank you for such a comprehensive presentation. I am 69 years person. Grandmother of 6 kids. Been diabetic for a while. In 2018 I started on investing in my wellness. Lost 55 lbs, taken off most of the prescription drugs. H1 AC 5.2. No gym, no workout. I push my body but not punish it. At my age all well-meaning friends dissuaded me from fasting. Life is good. I am so connected to the inner intelligence. Namaste from India.

Being fit and strong all my life, weight management was always easy. Now, at 45, my Cortisol is flexing. After watching this video, I now know why.

Wow Dr. Sten this is great info you shared with us. More execise won't make us leaner it will only make as more HUNGRY. I am living example of this. I used to run for 2 hours every evening at slow speed in hopes of losing fat from my hips and as you said I would eat after because I was hungry. I didn't know back then that getting rid of fat for good is all about HORMONES. Now I know better, I only walk and will do so until I reach my goal weight.
