    After working out several times weekly and having special meals like zucchini noodles last few weeks, I got down a weight I have not been in over 15 years. 155 pounds & 11% body fat. Yesterday I walked a lot all day & walked at least a half a marathon based on my tracking. Far from where I was a year ago at 205 pounds & 18% body fat.

    right now im 400 LBS and focused on my weight loss journey. I have watched a few of your videos and I have a few questions. 1. Which should i prioritize more? Walking on the treadmill or weight training. I'm considering changing my workout routine from 2 days treadmill walking to 1 day treadmill walking and 2 days weight training. Also how best to avoid loose skin after the body transformation process.

    Ive been eating at a deficit for 7 weeks doing the insanity workout (1week to go🎉). Ive lost nearly 1 stone so far, strictly counting calories but not necessarily following marcos, how am i being so successful if marcos are so important? I feel grest mentally and physically

    With sleep my biggest issue is my bladder, so its interesting you say no liquids withint 2 hours of sleep, not sure how i could manage that, i keep a water bottle next to my bed.

    Dr Mike you are very right in all,what do you recomand in my case,I take antiepileptic pills that keeps me gaining wheight and they give me insomnia because the dose is maximum 3000mg of levetiracetam.I also take pills for my brain and my blood.
    I eat clean,not more than 1800 kalories,I am very active,I’m training 5 days a week with heavy wheights and walk as much as possible.
    I am strugling to lose wheight in this situation,I feel that all that I’m doing is for nothing 😔

      Reduce your calories intake ! If you don't lose weight by eating 1800 calories , that means your TDEE is 1800 calories
      Now you need to go to 1600-1500

    That's all very well but if you have insomnia due to trauma in your life, you're screwed before you start!!! And it's OK to tell people to walk if you live in a hot country like you do - try doing long walks in dull, grey, rainy UK.

      I'd highly recommend looking up a solid calisthenics workout routine. A routine that uses your own body weight to workout. Chris Heria or Strength Side are great channels to start with. Good luck on your journey!

      Sounds like you need to lift weights and eat lots of protein. Every day at least 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. Get a good whey protein powder to help out with that.

    Sure, good ideas but your basis is that people have 1-2 hours extra a day to waste. Steps take time unless you use a treadmill at a desk or at home.
    You plans focus on the rich community that have the time.
    Diet is key over steps overall for Americans. Yes NEET is a thing, but when a construction worker has a 30 min lunch, they choose fast food.

      I'm not in any way intending to patronize you, I only want to encourage you to find a way. You are likely burning a lot of calories already being a construction worker, that's great news. Now maybe incorporate one or even two days where you pack a lunch. Like, a turkey sandwich with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and a side of carrots and an orange or apple. (No chips). This would curve two days of no fast food and make a big difference over time. I hope you find your way, you can do it. One step at a time like Dr Mike teaches, small changes can add up.
