I dont understand why the guy gets so much hate online. I think what he's been doing is great for not just himself but for all of us. 😎👍
I’ve NEVER seen hate towards him. But then again, I deleted tweeter and Instagram from my phone.
No drama. I only watch CZcams for things like this and Podcast and talks etc.
People need to STOP thinking tweeter represents the entire world. It doesn’t, just GenZ complaining over everything as usual.
@@powerhouse884
When his videos first came out on youtube, it was full of hate comments. Also other channels or interviews covering him, particularly news stories; comments filled with hate.
edit: I don't we'll see hate on this channel.
That's how people are. They compare and hate because deep inside, they hate themselves so they hate to see anybody do better.
That's the beauty of being older than 5 years old, you realize words can't hurt you and they have no meaning.
I think it’s because he makes the almost impossible dream seem just about possible but only if you are exceptional like him. So it’s as if he tantalises what’s possible … but not for … whoever it might be.
I actually respect how open and candid he is about his journey.
It's mandatory to soon monetize on his upcoming service testing and supplements. He's his own case study. Thomas should ask him if he's afraid of death. He never asked him about his ultimate goal. This interview is all peripheral word salad. He needs more than 900MM to solve mortality equation. He should address the mortality limit of mankind over history.
acktchually?
Damn Thomas is killing it with the guests this year
He is actually the guest
I thought his name is DeLauer
Wish there was a female version of Brian. I think the experience would be vastly different bcuz at that age, perimenopause sets in and the hormones are so unpredictable.
Have you heard of Dr. Stacy Sims? She's done a lot of work on women's exercise, etc.
It’s frikking hell on earth! 😩
You can find the female version almost all over Asia. My wife is 31, everyone thinks she still goes to school. Women here don't have wrinkles until they are 55 - 60, and even at 85 they are still dancing around on the beach and sipping a cocktail.
I’m doing his protocol as best I can (I don’t eat the same things every day but do eat the nutty pudding every day - and I incorporate lots of the foods just in different ways ) and I’m 47 and in peri-menopause. Doing great 2 months into it . I will say I eat more protein because I’m trying to increase muscle mass currently.
I believe he did interviews a while ago for a female to join his protocols.
Thomas’ face during interview 😂 his best professional face ever.
Thomas’ show is good.
And excellent! Thomas is the best in the field!
Yeah, I noticed. Thomas is clearly interested in this topic. Good on him 🤗👏
I love that Bryan is testing and measuring all of these things on himself in a very scientific way finding out what actually works for him and what doesn’t
What works for him seems likely to work for others like him, if not now, then in the near future. Longevity matters, but the dismal healthspan of the average American matters even more. Pulling epigraphs from the 2022 book "Sickening" by Dr.John Abramson MD:
"The case against [biomedical] science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue.... Science has taken a turn toward darkness." Richard Horton, editor in chief of The Lancet
"Don't believe anything, not one thing, put out by a pharmaceutical company. Just don't believe it. You start from there." Catherine Deangelis, [former] editor in chief, Journal of the American Medical Association “Sickening” page 1.
thats just his marketing man. you would not know what works and doesnt work unless you cloned 1000 of you. you should love some criitcal tihnking instead
@@user-ke4nx7xy3l you can get a pretty good idea when you try it and test to measure a change. another way would be to repeat a results with lets say a thousand people which is totally possible especially today
@@user-ke4nx7xy3l Exactly. It's pseudoscience. Not sure how much Johnson is in on it or how much he's getting scammed himself. He is certainly making money from what he's selling.
"Nighttime erections are a significant indicator of biological age, sexual function, and psychological health." - statements like that are an extreme stretch. There are a lot of perfectly healthy people who will live to a very advanced age who never get nighttime or morning erections or they're pisspoor and there are people who get them all the time and die at a very early age. I would bet the people who get the most nighttime erections have a shorter than average lifespan, because biology tends to like an ideal balance and extremes indicate abnormalities.

I sleep in separate rooms, the quality of sleep is priceless😅
Wait some time and you won’t have marriage.
no I agree with commenter. Husband snores loud and I can’t sleep through it. As a menopausal woman 45-60 yrs old. I NEED SLEEP and it has been a difficult 15 yrs. Back on bio-identical hormones for past year and sleep is slowly getting better
We now sleep in separate houses and when I left, I went no contact. I sleep much better now too.
Same.. we sleep in separate rooms too.. kind of..
I stay with her until she falls asleep in her bed.
Then somehow early in the morning I wake up to find her sleeping in my bed 😅❤

He's so right about sleep being important. I went through a depressive episode years ago and slept about 2-3 hours a night for months. It was horrific. I lost about 20 pounds and felt like a zombie. I value sleep so much more now, cherish it even. 😴
The answer to that first question had me rolling 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Glad I’m watching this at home and not in the lunch room at work. 😂
How can he give that first answer and cut to commercial while we’re all out here wondering if we heard him right.
😂
I think he’s so amazing. Love the fact of sharing all his results and science behind it all
Sleep definitely is key, certainly wish I would have realized this 10 years earlier. But better late than never, now 36 I'm in the best shape of my life so far 💤😴
Also 36. Can you please mention this to my kids. My sleep has gone drastically down hill since them! Haha
@@25johnlowe haha it's a tough one, maybe motivate them by saying they're more likely to reach their dreams and goals if they're well rested, can think and perform better and also being in a better mood along the journey ☀️😊

I love our time - now it is so easy to find people and hear their thoughts, which was previously almost impossible for most people.
These are the type of people I want to hang around. I love this stuff. Thanks for recording guys!
Congratulations Thomas. I’ve been following Bryan Johnson for a long time, and this is probably the most insightful of his interviews !!! It must be stressed the humongous value of the data generated through Bryan’s journey and the wide variety of answers to key questions on longevity that this experiment will provide. Thanks again
Wow! Thomas! This is one of THE BEST interviews Brian has EVER done as well as yourself! You both were so humble, respectful and sharing with one another. It was an absolute privilege to be able to view and hear that conversation. Thank you so much Thomas for doing such an incredible job with this interview and thank you both for your transparency. I felt like I was watching the beginning of a a friendship!
The team up I’ve been waiting for!!! Thank you both for this 🙏🏻

This was actually a quite informatively interesting talk - appreciated - and Brian is a standup guy. He's on point with what he set out to do - and has come through on his stated commitment to really learn _alot_ from and widely/freely share everything about his experience so that we all can learn from his self-funded, protracted and ongoing scientific process. Props are definitely due. 👍
This is just a really great conversation between two men with similar interests and knowledge. Well done!
Bro you’re doing amazing with these guests!!! Honestly learned alot of Bryan Johnson!
this guy is great. i've watched all of the content i can find with bryan in it over the last couple months. he's always so positive and logical
Positive and Logical❤❤❤
Great interview, thank you!
Wanted to like this video but I already did. Please make these videos a regular! Favorite! Thank you so much!
Thank you very much, Thomas. This came at just the right time for me and I have at least 3 solid takeaways to implement from this riveting discussion. Great job and thanks again.
Thanks Thomas- great content as always! I think Bryan is wonderful - I give him so much credit for doing what he's doing and sharing it all!!
Keep bringing him back!
Another great one😍
I adore Brian...
Nice to see you both just seemingly hanging out...
Wow, I am so impressed with their honesty and integrity, so relatable!!🙌🏼💗
What I love about his experiments and I think is helpful is that there is a focus on longevity and optimal health. Being American our systems revolve around treating disease rather than preventing it. I have no doubts he is discovering and unlocking many doors for potential protocols that can lead us all in a better healthier direction. I have no qualms with death, but I want my journey there to be as happy and healthy as possible. Great interview!
Another great video, thank you, Thomas! Bryan is just awesome!
What Bryan is doing is amazing

Thanks for the share
We will never escape death but improving quality of life is the better option, which will likely improve longevity.

Fantastic interview! I look forward to hearing Bryan speak at the biohacking conference next week.

Thank you for your honesty🤛. However, were you already using trt? Or was that after al these things you said in the video
Bryan is the only person that understands my need to sleep. ❤
Since his advice I am taking care of my sleeping habits. I have the need to be extremely concentrated and hyperfocused in the daytime, therefore sleep is Prio 1, no compromise
I love your videos
21:56 I think it’s actually detrimental to be too much of a princess about having a pristine sleep environment. Here are some of my observations...
When my niece and nephew were babies and toddlers their mom used to drive them around in the car and blast rap music while they were napping so that they would learn to become sound sleepers and sleep through noise. I also have some friends that are super psycho strict about having pitch black, no loud noise, a fan or white noise machine and lowering the temp super low. They wake up if a mouse farts outside. That can’t be good. I have trouble falling asleep so I go to bed at like 4 am, but when I fall asleep, I sleep very soundly. My gf can get ready in the morning, bang around in the bedroom, I don’t hear a thing. You should be sleeping deeply enough that you aren’t aware of small noises. If you aren’t, you should probably figure out why. You may have PTSD or some other issue that needs to be addressed.
And on a side note, the best thing I ever did for my sleep was get the smart meter off of my home and unplug all lamps from nearby outlets. You can actually measure your body voltage with a meter and it goes up a lot just from having a lamp plugged in next to your bed. You can hire a building biologist to measure EMFs in your home and bedroom. The sleep environment is the most important and most people are totally unaware. I think this is actually causing a lot of sleep problems for people.
Wow. Amazing information!
I'm a trial attorney and writer. I have to sleep 10 to 12 hours every night. Had to quit any jobs where I had to wake up at a certain time Monday through Friday. Sleep and Sauna!!!!
You're doing god's work gentlemen. Please don't ever stop!

Excellent Interview!! Very fascinating topics of discussion! I want to ask Bryan if he gets any time in the Sun, 🌞 and if so, how long? What time of day? And what are his protocols (if any), should he spend time in the Sun? Thanks in advance!
Probably just long enough to produce adequate vitamin D because the UV radiation is so damaging to skin cells which can in turn stress other cells as well. We all need some sun though! But what is the right amount of time and is it all at once. Id love to have that answer also!
Bryan looks like a vampire on a vegan diet

Wow. Extremely interesting.
THANK GOD! FINALLY. I am not alone in wanting to "live long and prosper", as the Vulcan saying goes. I get mildly laughed by fam and friends because I have said I want to live till I reach 150 years of age --- and longer if God grants it to me to do so.
We all need to learn how to talk about our bodies. Male and female, we all need to compare notes. We all need to get together and figure things out.

Asking the hard questions
At 68, clocking in at 59 with a BMI of 20 and perfect markers, I truly believe in our ability to peak and understand at 68 what was speculation at your age. This is the most amazing part of life if fit, ripped as I am, the hard part is to gain more weight, but my sleep is on a bed hanging on ropes, and truly, if you want the most incredible sleep, hang your bed, sleep alone, and feel what floating is at night. For us that are high level, 170+ IQ, this is the most beneficial thing I have ever done for dropping the years off my body. Grounding and breathing, all combine to create the best sleep.
@BradKittelTTH I congratulate you on your diligent application of what you have learned. Any details on how to have a bed hung by ropes would be greatly appreciated. Are these commerically available, or must they be done DIY? How did you discover that doing so would be beneficial.
I love Bryan!
From Bryan Johnson's detailed discussion on his approach to longevity and health optimization, several key takeaways emerge:
1. **Importance of Unconventional Biomarkers**: Johnson's focus on nighttime erections as a significant indicator of biological age, sexual, and psychological health illustrates the potential of unconventional biomarkers in assessing and improving overall well-being.
2. **Precision in Health Regimens**: The insight that "more is not always better" in terms of health interventions, whether they be supplements, therapies, or exercise, emphasizes the importance of precision. Johnson's experience with adjusting his iodine intake reflects the broader principle that optimal health results from carefully calibrated approaches rather than excess.
3. **Interplay and Trade-offs in Therapies**: Johnson's exploration of various therapies highlighted that interventions could have complex effects on aging, sometimes increasing biological age markers before returning to baseline. This complexity suggests that health optimization might involve navigating trade-offs and synergistic effects among different treatments.
4. **Elevated Role of Sleep**: Recognizing the critical importance of sleep marked a significant pivot in Johnson’s health strategy. Quality sleep has emerged as a foundational element that supports cognitive functions and overall health, leading Johnson to prioritize and optimize his sleep above many other activities.
5. **Continuous Learning and Adaptation**: Johnson's journey is a testament to the value of continuous learning, experimentation, and adaptation in personal health management. By embracing a data-driven approach, he underscores the importance of being responsive to what the data reveals about one's body and adjusting tactics accordingly.
6. **Scientifically-Informed Practices**: The application of scientific methods and devices to monitor and adjust his health routines shows the potential of technology and science to personalize and enhance health strategies effectively.
7. **Broader Implications for Aging and Longevity**: Johnson’s experiences and shifts in understanding about health and aging contribute to broader discussions about longevity. His work encourages a reevaluation of conventional beliefs about aging and suggests that with targeted interventions, significant improvements in life quality and length are possible.
Good job
Excellent synopsis! Thanks.
I’ve watched a few interviews with Bryan and he never references insulin levels or fasting insulin… Ben Bikman’s research clearly reveals that lower insulin levels are strong indicators of longevity.
I’d love to get his and his team’s perspective on this research.
22:44 why would the temperatures be different ?
Is there an equivalent to their sleep mattress that doesn't cost a fortune + subscription ?
My two favourite health guys in the same room!
Bryan is weird but seems to mostly come from a logical perspective and its been fun to follow the process.
Have begun eating a lot more broccoli and cauliflower after watching Bryan and Thomas fasting tips and other help has really helped getting rid of the last 5 kilos.
I by no means follow either religiously, but damn if there isn't a ton of good input from both - Especially with Bryans budget for testing stuff with actual doctors.

As a 37 y old I had never experience night E or morning wood, when I started with ashwagandha, long jack and tribulus, I started getting insane morning woods xD
damn I am 45 and still get them
Huh I've never gotten them even as a teenager
@@luxurybuzz3681 If you have low testosterone levels, that could be the reason. Most people have no clue about this, if they've always had low testosterone.
Would love to hear Bryan take on weed, good or bad. I think his a legend. He might outlive me and I'm 37!
Weed is one of the most potent anti aging substances on earth with incredible healing features.
I sleep almost as well at 49 as I did at 12! Just overtrain and count reps in your head to fall asleep...
I had 2 Brian Johnson interviews pop up in my feed neither one was the Liver King or AC DC front man...
I’m sure he probably avoids the sun due to concerns over prolonged UV exposure, but even if he doesn’t want to go the natural route and sunbathe, he should consider getting a good spray tan. It would make him look a decade younger and is at most a couple hundred bucks for the Cadillac of spraytans.
What’s weird is the sweet response is interesting. I’ve broken the sugar/processed foods in my life and “sweets” taste bad. Almost thought I had covid but everything else tastes great! Probably psychological but so easy to ignore dessert as it is no longer a treat.
Wow... I Wish I can quite sugar too... The longest I went without sugar was 3 months... but once I tried sweets again it tasted soooo good.
The reason I lasted so long was that it was during Covid and I hated going to the supermarkets because we had to wait outside and then wear freaking masks and follow some weird arrows once in the supermarket... so I stopped shopping for about a week and realize I can live without deserts and sweets... Kept it going for 3 months and then fell off the wagon.
The fact that his entire medical history is digitalised I think is one of the best things in regard to future studies about how to counter age related diseases..
7:35 as for '2 is not always better than 1' that's false when you talk about money.. because if he didn't have money, nobody would do these insane studies over practical deaging on humans
I would be very curious to know if Bryan is aware of the positive and negative biological effects of EMFs and if he is integrating any of that into his protocol? For instance, earthing mats and EMF shielding of his bedroom. Our EMF exposure has increased a quintillion times and no one is really talking about how that may be accelerating aging or impacting our health.
Thrive Market doesnt deliver to Canada... :(
I had to replay the beginning to make sure I heard what I heard haha
I didn’t realize how much male health deteriorated in the erection department. I had a boyfriend until I was 21 and then I met my girlfriend and I’ve been with her for over 10 yrs. The other day my friend was complaining about her husband’s performance in the bedroom because he kept ejaculating too early before she had a chance to climax. I asked her why didn’t they just do it again shortly after. She had to explain to me that at this age, it’s not possible. My boyfriend and I used to mate like a couple of rabbits multiple times a day so I was kinda wondering what the hell is happening to the male reproductive organs that is causing them to become less functional in such a short period of time. It’s not like the men are going through menopause in their 20s, what the heck is happening? My first thought was all of these microplastics and endocrine disrupting chemicals in the environment...
Would have been better if Thomas could’ve also got some more cast members like Picard, Jordi, Riker etc
It took me over 8 hours to fall alseep as a kid, i slept every other day for all of 1-7th grades.
wasnt untill my 30s that i started getting good sleep everynight
so you were basically waiting to go to school :))
Me too! Actually, I had insomnia for 20 years after they taught us in 1st grade Catholic school that a) An atom looks like it could put us on an ape's ass in another universe and b) That our soul lives forever. I could see "forever" and it scared the shit out of me. Only Transcendental Meditation finally calmed my mind enough to allow sleep...
Love Bryan ❤
Bro Thomas's face bro lmfao!!!🤣🤣🤣
lmao great ad placement
I agree with him on boners. At 50 years old, those have been my measurement stick (no punt intended) on how I am doing for past few months. It's just common sense and you don't need to be rocket scientist to figure it out. We had most of our boners when we were in our teens and 20s, when we were at our healthiest. And... I am so grateful for getting mine back and working to extend them. In my case, I think the biggest impact has been working on my legs (besides losing some weight). I disagree with him on death. Personally, I am not trying to slow down my natural death, there is life after death and it's better than this place. But... what I am trying to do is extend my healthy life. My fear is not death, my fear is leading up to my death (the suffering... after watching my dad die from colon cancer and watching my mom live as a diabetic).
I second both those points friend👍. It's interesting what Bryan is learning for everyone by spending millions and being a human guinea pig but the things he's pioneering really aren't practical for regular people and probably won't make much difference in the long run. Good health is really quite simple, just requires discipline. And as you say in the end, rejoining our Creator is far better than living an extra decade or two.
Amen 🙏
Hahahahahaha. Great opening! Haha
Ah, yes, children and family have also aged me at a significantly higher rate than I expect would have been the case otherwise. Seems like you're dealing with it well. I have blue light-filtering lenses on my glasses and I've noticed that if I switch back to different lenses, it does make a difference in how quickly I fall asleep, being significantly easier to fall asleep when wearing the blue light-blocking glasses (in fact, I have switched back to the regular lenses on purpose for this reason). Nothing expensive, just the basic options with the blue light filter. Godspeed, gentlemen.
In a not so distant future we should be able to live as long as we want to. As long as the desire to live is in us. Then at some point when the desire is gone, when we experienced everything in life, and life becomes repetitive and boring, we will say goodbye and die. In other words, we will live as long as we want and die when we want. We will give people a chance to make ultimate decisions about their lives. No more slaves to our nature. No more passengers to our "destiny" trip.
So I'm guessing his room temperature adjusts to the seasonal temperature?
Say whatever you want, but Thomas just looks more robust. His complexion is glowing and look much healthier. I wonder what Bryan may have missed or hit
To add, it would be interesting to study his sleep architecture on a regular basis. At his age, what would happen if you were to go on CPAP? Science experiment.
I love how Bryan has no problem talking about this logically and I can just hear Thomas in the background hm, huh, wow...
