It's like what Brian Tracy said in the psychology of selling: most people buy because of emotions and they justify it with logic
The Rationalizing, not the rational, brain.
Hmmm
One of the most honest entrepreneurs and salesman I've ever heard in my life... Keep it up and Keep On Keepin it real bro
Thank you 🙏
This guys is awesome every time he talks is giving lesson on how to make money the right way and all the different things that come with making the right decision. I truly wish I knew him.
Thank you Chris, I am an engineer and trying to bring my product to the world, and for years I thought I just have to perfect my craft, and revise my design until it is good. But from your channel it helps me a lot in knowing what to aim for and how I can communicate with my future customers
Good luck
Same here. Spent years trying to build a better product expecting that a good enough product would sell itself. Past year, I decided to finally dive into learning marketing and sales and it's made a huge difference. You got this
Hey man good luck to you. It was almost 12 years ago I was in your same shoes as I multimedia designer and I grew tired of seeing others bank on what I'd thought of but never took action on. Now I'm a product developer with 2 top 10 in category Amazon products and 2 top 100 in category products soon to be 3. Everything Chris is saying applies to us too. Good luck to you. And remember Niche niche niche.
@@MrArtVein cool well done! What did you create and now sell??
@@jeffcannon8240 it’s hard to rationalise why something people Say is good, doesn’t sell loads of it automatically.. What did you create?
Please, just make me feel things and take my money.
Exactly
@Icewulf I don't have money, I just have bags. Would you like them? They are plastic and not very durable :(
This is our world today.... lets scam and trick people into buying our product for the sake of selling. Makes sense why people's mindset are all screwed up today.
Guy is mad scammy.
@Icewulf Sorry bro, Chris Do took it all :(
Sounds like prostitution.
I'm usually negative to some of your stories but this is the gem of sales. Connecting with a customer on an emotional and sensible level increases closure of the sale insanely.
Exactly my thoughts
Thats 100% right on point bro. Throw it on the scale point for point
Being emotionally connected to something is driving you to get it. Where there is deep emotion, there is no rational point! 👍
so true in that, emotionally connection leads to buying a product in most sell cases
But it won't lead to re-buy if product and service are crap. Long-term emotional connection will not be created by love-bombing but by staying power and trust.
He literally sells his belief by adding Jordan Belfort in there as nostalgia
Nah Jordan Belfort actually talks about it in his book the way of the wolf and in many of his old webinars
Belfort's nickname even shows that it is controlling-the-narrative BS. Wolves are highly social beings while Belfort is a sociopath lacking social skills and empathy. He even sold the sadness of his daughter when he went to prison as a tear-jerker to promote himself as the poor daddy being separated from her, his crimes he committed had nothing to do with it, of course...🤢 I feel for wolves being appropriated by abusers to appear more attractive.
@@TheNinnyfee whatever your thoughts are about him, you have to admit that he is probably the best salesman out there and that's all that matters to me. You don't need to go about judging people by their mistakes just because you envy a skill that they have which you don't. Learn from others and take the best from the masters. Don't judge on their ethics or whatever because you can't do anything about it and instead use it to educate yourself on what not to do.
@@jacksonzheng3103 I acknowledge his skill but I don't envy it because it is based on gaslighting and not the substance of his products. I admire people with a valuable, well-researched product who provide lasting solutions for people and manage to maintain good relationships with their customers. People who have done actual work instead of just developing scamming strategies, and who then on top manage to market their product well. That is something worth admiring/envying.
@@jacksonzheng3103 I am very well-educated on what not to do, and admiring "men" like Belfort who are selling a substance-less narrative definitely is part of that education. Well, not entirely without "substances". But to each their own.
It's all about connection
This guy was saying exactly what I was taught in sales. Then he said he learned it from Jordan Belfort. That is who trained my old sales company in Australia. Small world.
I had a client on the phone today who rationalized that a competitor was a better option for him than the Saas product I was selling, but he explicitly said he'd like to work with me and therefore still chose my product. People emotionally buy you. :)
Sounds like a logical decision! I have also paid more to work with certain clients simply because I liked working with them.
Yes they do. You are selling you.
That's trueeee I love to buy things that comfort me 🤣
Everyone does. But is the logic part of your brain that stops you from buying all the time impulsively. It is also the difference between a mature and immature person.
Love that he is even selling while filming this 😂
All gurus do I noticed, they use exactly what they’re telling you to buy in. 😂 it’s genius
This is great I need to take your course .. I love understanding the person in front on me.. Everyone matters and I understand the value of the Psychology of this grind.. thank you got this video
If you truly are an honest salesman, you have to believe in and know the product. Then find out what the customers needs and expectations are. Because your the product specialist, you instantly switch gears. Now you promote the strengths of the product that closely matches the needs and expectations previously stated. Lastly your presentation should be transparently balanced supporting the needs of both the company and the customer. If you do this, you can look at yourself in a mirror and say well done and God would agree.
Very well said!
smooth head! smooth talk!
Chris. Do you think that “Trust” is an emotional or logical component?
Both. You trust for personal gain while also potentially risking your well being.
If someone plays with your emotional side and then you regret it later the trust in yourself and others is gone, at least temporarily.
chris who
It depends on you.
Some trust more in God,
some trust more in Science.
@@KelvinWKiger this is odd cause if u believe in God then u believe he set in order how the universe works and us trying to figure this out is called science
I dont like comparing people but your like a Gary vee of sales, everything you speak about sales makes me want to listen and do sales. Also the advice you give out is amazing and proven facts. Im not on your level but i would love to one day meet you and talk about business
Thank you
I learned that you have to make a connection with the person you’re trying to sell too.
This also works for job interviews, not just business transactions. As a candidate, you will connect more with an interviewer if you're more personable rather than just going on your accomplishments alone.
It’s actually three components.
1. Credibility
2. Logic
3. Emotion
For those of you who don’t know, but are interested in this, research ethos, pathos, and logos. These three things is the foundation of persuasion.
Okay buddy
These shorts are gold.
Nostalgia, the 2nd greatest weakness in humans next to the neck
Chris Do has and will always be my source of motivation ❤. Thanks for being you
Thank you
All your videos are soooo educational
Thank you so much for sharing all this knowledge
Greetings from Egypt
Im so glad I found your channel. Just starting out with cold calling so this is interesting.
Perfect strategy! Will always remember this!
Recognize this and don't get scammed
So well explained 🙌🏽 thank you
Video is so clear
I knew it, i have been watching his Videos Lately and he always reminded me of Jordan Bellford, with how he renegotiate a deal etc.
This knowledge is priceless
Thank you
Balance. The most powerful attribute.
If you get to know Chris you'll learn that he is a deep thinker who is constantly learning and thinking of ways to do things better. He's also supremely magnanimous in that he shares his knowledge.
This is very true. Humans are emotional creatures. Logic should be the rational thing that makes people buy, but that's not how it always works.
I recently did a post that goes deep on this topic on my Instagram.
Yo Chris! Did you major in communication studies, public relations, or business administration? Your speaking and negation skills are killer 🔥
That's a grear point! Can you share some examples of using the same pairing method for selling a logo, website or a book?
You don't have to advertise to me, If I want or need something, I will look high and low for it, I will study the design, read the specs, watch numerous demonstrations, listen to people on pro's and cons, and read a few hundred reviews before purchase. It's very rare I make bad buying choices as a result. Buying a physical product becomes a bit of a project for me, what pro's do i care about most and what cons are tolerable, at the right price
All that stuff you read and study go right out of the window when you are being sold something in person.
@@jacksonzheng3103 lol that is assuming I buy in person (anymore) I used to... I still like to eat out, go to barber, get a coffee from Starbucks, I look something up and then I may go and buy in person, I prefer services in person, but if its physical like a smartphone, I will research it. i've never fell prey to a sales rep, unless they are helping me buy the thing with a discount or deal, they are not helping....
@@jacksonzheng3103 NO 😠😠😠
Thanks bro
SO GOOD💯
It takes skills and talent to sell good and make People want to buy
👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
100% true. People don't just buy your product, they buy the WHY you do it. It's not enough to offer some service. You must have a certain spark about yourself. I've lost clients because i was being 100% logical.
Always inspiring me
This is me with Nipsey's The Marathon Clothing
All that he speaks of is true. But most of the time what they don't have they can't pay. Deal will not close. Now if you can get them to pay ehat they don't have ? Is closing. Exams sell A/C to Eskimos in Alaska.
This man is very smart
Not always but depends on your story!
Yes i knew it
Solid
Very Awesome! Id like to learn more! 😁
Wow amazing loving it so true
Straight line selling FTW!
Thanks, now I can practice staying aware of when my emotions are taking over instead of my rational mind, and over time I will become a very bad customer.
Thanks

What are the best books about sales?
Socratic selling.
I try to use this in construction
Designers are basically logico-emotional programmers of society
agreed. I always thought of designers as well as engineers of communication
@@alystdesign that's deep. I agree
That’s not a good thing, but it’s ok because you’re grossly oversimplifying. Could also say society programs designers, but that’s more of the same. It’s a sickness to allow, let alone laud the idea of “programming” humans as if that’s not a metaphor to be resisted
@@silberselb2126 hence why you should be programming your own life, in service / alignment of the whole of course

Fully Logical buyers are people with a closet filled with one type of shirt, trousers and jacket with plain white wallpaper who eats bread for every meal

The Wolf of Wall Street is my legacy this dude did with every man and my situation wishes he would have done given the chance he was smart intelligent and they had the right lingo to sell to people they didn't always buy what was right they bought what he was selling and that is what brought the profits in
Amazingggg....😀

Its funny he quotes the wolf of Wall Street as inspiration
why is that funny?
@@thefuturIt can be easy to be conned by a designer who wants as much money as possible for poor quality work; so quoting a con man famous for fleesing people made me chuckle
Can you imagine if one day this dude made a video with a full head of hair? It wouldn’t be the same.
Except if it's a Ferrari. Then you will have to invent some rational reason to explain to your wife.
But what drives you to do so is emotional.
@@LaurensiusAdiKun Probably
@@frankslegers2522 that's cuz you're looking at buying a Ferrari as an item. When you buy one you're buying a lifestyle and experience, not the car. The car is just the productized experience to allow exchange.
You get the same functionality from a Ferrari as you would get from any other car- it will take you from point A to point B. What makes it different from others is the experience, social recognition, etc- all emotional benefits, not practical.
@@MrArtVein I would have said the same about any expensive investment.
Nice
How do you do that?
Persuasion: ethos, pathos, logos! Communication majors, we know all too well. Here's a sales trick, offer them something for free initially and psychologically they'll feel they owe you something.
Trust me. That doesn’t always work. Often people will take advantage of that.
Isnt that called manipulation?
Sales are a little bit like manipulation. You connect to their wants, needs and desires. When you try to sell something you need for them to want it, so you try to put nostalgia into it and make it appealing.
This man has so much knowledge that is so amazing
... Like a $150k car Restoration 😁
His clients watching this: 😳🙄😒
Idk who said this but "you have to give him a reason to want to buy (emotion) and a reason to justify the expense to his wife (logic)"

This explains pretty much all of his other videos lol
Logic wins all discussions. I spelt that correctly? 😂
