It's hard to express how much I loved this video. I've watched lots of canoe trip videos over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. I wasn't bored for a minute. I am 82 years old and, alas, no longer able to do big trips. But this film put me vicariously back in the canoe and into the rapids, the thinking, the reading of the water, the use of judgement in relation to risk, the awe, and the occasional whoops-and-hollers The spontaneous comments and bantering were out of the moment, real, personal, and warm. Thankfully the music was kept to a minimum, and the little that was used was tastefully fitted to the setting, not like the brash country riffs one so often hears that have nothing to do with paddling in such awesome landscapes. The sounds of water, fire, bugs, rain, wind and the paddle-in-water made it real. I loved having different views of the same rapid and seeing the lines that were chosen. There were plenty of exciting moments and smiles, yet the mood of whole film is sensitive and delicate. The otter clan at the end was a fitting closure. This is a work of art. Thank you Tosh and Jason.

let me start with F'N great video bro. next, let me say over the last few years i've let the " im getting too old to get out there" and " im out of shape " mindset stop me from letting my canoe see the light of day, let alone tasting open water. but after watching this... it has lit a fire under my ass to start planning and getting back in shape to get out there. man do i miss the back country. this river has always been a bucket list thing for me. this time next year i'm dragging out the canoe and a buddy or two and doing this..... for now im off to the gym, thank you for the video and the fire.

I think it was Koen (D/E) was at the Stagger Inn during his most recent video series but, it must have been after you were there because it had been trashed by a bear.
Well, I’m exactly 1/2 way through and stopping for the night. I’ll get the second half watched tomorrow.
I’m back to finish watching 👍🏻
Tosh, Have you ever tried PG Tips tea?
I learned about it from a Newfoundlander CZcamsr who’s always brewing up a pot of tea.
I drink the decaf variety and it’s awesome! Three of the pyramid tea bags make a potent 1.5L of tea. I use his method of bringing the water to a rolling boil, toss in the tea bags, take it off the heat and let it sit for 5 minutes or until it’s reached the strength you desire. It also makes great iced tea l.
