- I finally got the Revell 1951 Henry J Gasser completed. I knew it was a poor fitting kit going into it and it proved itself to be. Had fun with the build but the fitment issues were many.

That's why I always scan my decals before applying them, just in case I make a mistake, which is more often than I'd like. Great looking build!
Thanks man.
Hey brother, it’s been a rough week, and I’m just seeing this. Thank you for the shout out my friend!! Man that J came out great!
You bet Buddy and thanks for the nice words.
I think your Henry J turned out Great!!! You did a Fantastic job with an old school Revell mold!!! Nice Work!!!!
Thanks Michael. Yeah, that kit showed it's age.
Challenging kits are a pain but that one came out pretty nice, great job. I love that engine in there, looks really nice. Have a great day. -David
Thanks 👍 I thought it came out pretty good for what I had to work with.
WOW!!!!!!!!!! Very nice!!!!!!!!! 👍👍👍
Changing out the engine and wheelie bars was a good choice.
Thanks. I thought it made the appearance much better.
@@olezippi So true!!!!!!!!!

Thank Todd. Yeah, it's a bad ass little ride.

You did a great job! All those hurdles and set backs gone.
Thanks man. It was a journey.
Despite your issues with it you made that look good. That kit is on my list of kits to get.
Thanks man
Looks really cool 👍🤩all your hard work shows👍. Great looking model, thanks for showing and best wishes from jolly old England 👍😎Pete 🤓
Thanks Pete. Your comments are always appreciated
That Model turned out great !
Thanks. I'm happy with how it turned out.
I got the front end to fit better by bending the radiator support. The doors fit ok but sag when open and is a little fiddley to get back. The newer Revell kits go together better . I noticed I had to soak decals for a long time and had no problem. I bent the front window and there was plenty of window material for the vent windows. Looks good nice build.
Thanks man. I appreciate the feedback.

Great looking build, the gassers are a favorite of mine and You did a nice job on it.
Thank you
I built this kit in the 60s and 70s several time, when it cost $2.25 at the drug store. Probably bought it at least once just to get parts out of it. I seem to recall what they decided were wheelie bars were leaf springs with no wheels.
Yup, I didn't care for their so called "Wheelie Bars" so I used so a nice set.
Nicely done! I need to one!
Thanks Calvin.
Zippi your build turned out awesome. Love to see what you can do with your 55. Have a great day buddy.

Excellent work Zippi, that looks great! It would be a handful with the short wheelbase and all that power. Very cool!
Haha....yeah, front wheels in the air while your grabbing second gear sideways down the track. Fun, fun, fun.
