This is the most complete review of the Ranger on the web. I am getting an XLT FX4 package soon (in transit) and this video gave me most if not all of the features on my vehicle. I am going to the Ford website to get more details but outstanding job explaining all of this and it is much appreciated. Your delivery is smooth and natural. Outstanding review. BTW my good buddy is from Wichita which I assume is not too far from you guys.

Great job! Question: Ford Vehicles that have a USB port on the rearview mirror, what is Ford planning for that? My Ford has cameras and sensors, and my Tesla has the same, however, I can record what is occurring on a memory storage device in the Tesla. Is Ford planning on allowing access to the camera data? Seems silly that I would need to add a dash camera when the vehicle already has cameras. Please advise. Thanks
I have never noticed a USB port on the Rearview Mirror.

No, the 2023 will be a new design in Europe not in the U.S. We will see the new redesign in 2024.

The biggest Achilles heel of the 2022 Ford Ranger is the alternator being so low hopefully the new model they took care of that. If you go through a mud puddle that alternator is done.

In terms of perimeter alarm, is the perimeter plus alarm sold on the accessory store the same as the one that comes standard? I want to add factory remote start but I'm unsure if I'm forced to buy the perimeter plus.
They are different, the perimeter plus will go off with more movement than inclination and intrusion.
I try to buy a Ranger last year but every dealership jacked the price up a good 10k. So I bought a Tacoma. Love but I wanted a Ranger.
Wish ford would put in a good V-6 without turbo, and take off auto start / stop (TRASH) !
If you order one from the dealership, you can get an auto start stop delete. Will save you $50. At least in Michigan you can. Don’t know about other states.

Why is it so ugly?
The white and blue rangers are horrible looking. All other colors look decent.
Its mentioned in the video but you can order this package with out the graphics. So if that's not the look you want but you want the features, you can exclude the graphics on order.
