This wasn't a bad movie at all really great still wish a different approach a different direction pop up like what a fan made with the father of all saiyans come back because of Android 17 wish after the T.O.P.
I hated how they rebooted the history of the saiyans, bardock never sent goku to earth, frieza or frieza's henchman never created or introduced the scouters, bardock didn't care about kakarot until he saw vision of his son facing off frieza. I love this movie but it created a massive plothole in the anime and Manga. The movie didn't mention about bardock's squad which was in the manga, the movie didn't mention the tuffle race that created the scouters, that's how the saiyans acquired advanced technology which was is in the Manga, the movie said goku and vegeta was born on the same day which is inaccurate to the manga, vegeta is way older than goku, bardock the father of goku is canon because he appeared in the Manga in the chapter goku was about to fight frieza, there is no such thing is a saiyan scientist because in the Manga the saiyans considered themselves as a warrior race similar to primitive caveman. Thats what king Kai said about the saiyans during goku's training in the saiyan saga. They made this movie difficult to call it canon because it doesn't fit anywhere in the anime. What they should've done is update some scenes from the bardock the father of goku movie with creative scenes to include goku's mother. Because this reboot doesn't make any sense.

Bardock the father of goku Is "canon" because he actually made an appearance in the Manga by Akira toriyama. And I said "is" because bardock from the father of goku tv special is still technically canon, so what that means is since Akira toriyama bad retconed bardock in a standalone Manga, Two versions of bardock exist in the same universe.
@SomeJuice don't worry I'm surprised ppl haven't noticed yet that what happens in the manga doesn't always pop up in the anime everytime even though it would be great if they did but sadly they don't do it that way😔💯

Being in one frame surrounded by other characters does not justify as being identified as bardock squad or bardock team, since they've never focus on them specifically or mentioned them by name. Then you cannot say "oh that's bardock squad" because they could have been called something entirely different than what you assumed. And what I mean by that is, they could be named something else, like for example random saiyan 1, random saiyan 2, and random saiyan 3 etc. Right!? Akira toriyama probably doesn't even want them to be associated with their name they was giving in the bardock the father of goku tv special, so he most likely just gave them very vague and basic identities when he included them in dbs broly movie, which makes them irrelevant because not much thought or attention was to put into them, so that's why they was only in that one frame. You've only assumed that's bardock squad because of the similarities they share with previous or original designs, but that's not always the case. They could be under a new name, a character trait, a new origin, and a new lore. Since there was no indication then they are random saiyans that only purpose was to fill the lineup, nothing more and nothing less.
I hated the God forms and the mystic form. The red and blue stuff. It just became all to silly. Wish they would have gone super sayian 4 than 5 and kept it going that way.
what your opsin on full power ssj4 limt breaker form hereos then seeing how it was hitned at in gt when goku get that red tint in has hair for baby arc
@SADDLEHEAD MEDIA I wish they would make it feel like an anima again and not a little kids cartoon. My favorite saga and animation were the buu sagas. The animation was so good and it still had so much edge to it and grit. Felt so badass. I think that's alot of what dragonball super etc is missing. Grit, edge, overall badass. Now it feels like a silly cartoon. Pink hair, red hair, blue hair. Animation lookes like plastic people. Etc etc
@Pierre Valer yea I definitely wasn't a fan of GT. In fact, I despised it. Lol. I totally understand yea brother. That's what makes Fandom unique and fun is that we all have different tastes and interpretations of what we think dragonball should be. Much love

Those Bardock movies aren’t and never were canon. This is the first Bardock backstory written by Toriyama himself.

bardock squad is in the movie just one frrrame you see them all group together bowing before frieza
