One of the most important anime franchises ever, this show was created by the creator of kamen rider and super sentai (power rangers) dude was the assistant to the creator of Astro boy and is equally important. I don’t know if you’ll ever continue this series but I suggest it the mythos arc in this version is a great time all around, and the 1980 film is fantastic as well. I hope you pick this back up!

How can you skip through almost every great part in this movie.

If you guys haven't seen the original dragon ball Z movie list Definitely recommend Tree of Might, Garlic Jr Saga, Revenge of Cooler (my personal favorite), Return of Cooler, the original Broly movie, The History of Trunks, and Bardock.I would recommend the Berserk series but not sure if that's quite appropriate yet lol. Attack On Titan, Record of Ragnarok, Invincible, pretty much most of the DC Animated Series and Movies.

The scouter’s language is real the power gauge said error when they measured broly and turned red, someone deciphered the language

I hated how they rebooted the history of the saiyans, bardock never sent goku to earth, frieza or frieza's henchman never created or introduced the scouters, bardock didn't care about kakarot until he saw vision of his son facing off frieza. I love this movie but it created a massive plothole in the anime and Manga. The movie didn't mention about bardock's squad which was in the manga, the movie didn't mention the tuffle race that created the scouters, that's how the saiyans acquired advanced technology which was is in the Manga, the movie said goku and vegeta was born on the same day which is inaccurate to the manga, vegeta is way older than goku, bardock the father of goku is canon because he appeared in the Manga in the chapter goku was about to fight frieza, there is no such thing is a saiyan scientist because in the Manga the saiyans considered themselves as a warrior race similar to primitive caveman. Thats what king Kai said about the saiyans during goku's training in the saiyan saga. They made this movie difficult to call it canon because it doesn't fit anywhere in the anime. What they should've done is update some scenes from the bardock the father of goku movie with creative scenes to include goku's mother. Because this reboot doesn't make any sense.

I like how Gohan disregarded the lives of the two Red Ribbon Army soldiers (obviously not knowing one of them was Piccolo) as he destroyed the jet when Pan was in danger. Heck, just powering up as a regular Super Saiyan in front of the buff one was already dangerous.

As for who has more potential between Broly and gohan, I honestly say Broly as his first time actually fighting someone he was able to be relative to ssj gogeta which is kinda crazy but currently after this movie gohan is the strongest as this takes place after the last manga arc. As for the strongest saiyans in their newest forms it’s Beast Gohan Goku (TUI) Vegeta (UE) Broly (but when he is able to control his ki then it’s wraps)

yeah this was his first time using it. you're probably mistaking it for the masenko which is kinda of channeled through his forehead.

This movie is the first time Gohan uses special beam cannon so you were right when you said you don’t recall him ever using that move. I think it’s the perfect finishing move for this movie because it cements the Piccolo/Gohan relationship even more 🥹

Goku vs vegeta

beast is not a saiyan form, it an evolved version of potential unleashed/mystic also naruto copied dragon ball don't get that mixed up, db came out years before naruto was made

I hated the God forms and the mystic form. The red and blue stuff. It just became all to silly. Wish they would have gone super sayian 4 than 5 and kept it going that way.
