In all honesty, the shock collar brought Broly back to his senses because without it, he would just go berserk and destroy everything, and everyone, and Paragus raising Broly to fight and be feral, sure there was misguidence and vengeance involved, but Broly would have had to fight for his life on the hospitable planet everyday regardless. So Paragus kind of had some good reasons to do what he did. Some, it wasn't all good reasons, but some.

After gogeta went blue he never got hit.

Broly was still standing and fighting after the stardust breaker, and that only kills opponents when the power creep is very extreme so... Gogeta needed to go blue because any other form would get whooped

24:38 the “rainbow orb” is a move (technically there’s two names which I don’t think the fandom ever really settled on) called stardust breaker or soul punisher. And while it will still cause damage, since it’s still a ki blast it’s only really effective against evil people/creatures
Stardust breaker is the Canon name, soul punisher is the non Canon and original one
It didn't effect broly showing he's actually a good person since the blast purifies someone evil

You run into somebody in a match who clocked your best guys in a few seconds? That's real, that's something. You run into someone who dragged themselves to the end and somehow stood up and still somehow beat you in a match by judges' decision? You gain some sincere respect for that person. The embodiment of "that's a real one."

He also got knocked out of LSSJ into regular SSJ. The fight was already over, the Kamehameha was just overkill at that point from Gogeta.
@emmanuel4989 it really wasn't overkill. He had to go for a killshot. Broly would've eventually overtaken him but the main problem is the fusion timer. It was shown in the Buu saga with SSJ3 gotenks that advanced transformations can significantly cut the fusion timer down.

Frieza’s golden transformation in this was badass! He’s definitely one of the coolest and funniest villains in Dragon Ball.

The 'God Bind' has become one of Goku's signature moves in the manga, actually. It's usually reserved for finishing blows (mainly strikes), but this is the first time he uses the technique. Not to gain an advantage (see MUI Goku vs. Moro), but to gain a temporary reprieve from the opponent for diplomatic purposes. Classic Goku, and it immediately backfires. He never again uses God Bind as a purely defensive action.
Edit: Broly is a true prodigy. He learns moves as he fights. He replicated instant transmission within seconds. You only get to use it once unless you overpower him.
The short flashing of UI (ultra instinct) has one of two meanings to me. The first is that Goku tried to force himself into UI, but failed and therefore continued to SSB (super saiyan blue). Or two that was a sign that Goku has taken an even greater step into the realm of the gods/ godly powers. Does anyone have another opinion, love to hear it 😊
In the manga Whis said that Goku's body assimilated "Mastered" UI Form as a transformation, so this was a foreshadowing to that maybe since he's almost reaching it but can't without the help of next arc
@@Napolii_69 yes it was just a visual, but if you think about it (in universe) then Goku might have thought that UI was the only chance, but couldn’t reach it and gave up on it. That could be a possibility, right? He did say he forgot how to enter it, and therefore tried to make it work again
THIS, a lot of people hate on this saying “omg he cant access ui without a calm mind blah blah blah” YES that is true for the UI TECHNIQUE, which he wasnt trying to get, he was trying the get the form.

Yeah this was a crazy movie. But with some badass graphics and the one and only other time you'll see Ultra instinct besides in SDBH but definitely one of the best moments next to seeing beast Gohan
I've never seen this many comments so early on your videos, lol. Anyway, people in your Twitch chat saying that Gogeta was actually holding back makes a lot of sense. There was a noticeable change in impact when he started wrapping up the fight, and I think that's because he knew that his time limit was probably about to randomly drop from utilizing too much power.. just like the Vegito Blue vs Zamasu. It was either end the fun and win, or enjoy it too much, and sell the whole Earth.
It's also secretly saying a lot, the fact that Frieza lasted *an entire hour* alone against Broly after he transformed.. when Goku and Vegeta together in blue heavily struggled; granted, Frieza wasn't fighting beforehand (so he wasn't fatigued at all), but still. I never put too much thought in until now, but he was pretty confident about pulling up to Earth with a random Saiyan to fight. I'm no manga reader yet (so no spoilers), but I get the feeling Frieza's about to start folding them all soon.

I wonder how much stronger Broly became after this fight. No doubt he's on par with Beerus in my opinion but I can't be sure till I see more of Beerus. The fact that Gogeta had to go SSB says something about how insane Broly's power is.
well personally i think he still a jiren threat level because we dont know if goku mui can be on par with gogeta blue because in this movie goku ssj blue was almost or exactly on par with broly which in the t.o.p jiren made ssjb look like just another level of ssj man even goku kkblue and vegeta ssbe was having trouble

Also, MUI Goku would never be on par with SSB Gogeta because it's the magnified powers of Goku and Vegeta together. Neither of them will ever be able to surpass their own fusion lol. Plus the power gap between Jiren/Goku and Vegeta wasn't even that much. They were able to box with him and damage him. Broly literally flew through their attacks with no damage whatsoever. Jiren level threat... Lmao... I didn't see Jiren break through to another fucking dimension in the TOP...
@@chaosgod2586 MUI Goku doesn't stand a chance against SSB Gogeta. Gogeta in base is at minimum stronger than SSB Goku, that means SSJ Gogeta is more than 50 times stronger than SSB Goku. Then we take the power increase for Gogeta to go from SSJ all the way to SSB which is absolutely massive. The gap from MUI Goku to SSB Goku isn't as big as that. Also Broly was stated to being more powerful than Jiren from T.O.P and Gogeta beat him with less difficulty than it took MUI Goku to beat Jiren. Fusion is OP at this point.
