    I didn't get it first of all but you have to click the little X icon at the bottom right of the plugin image, and when it asks for your source track you have to play your track you sgpuld have loaded in on the left hand panel to compare against the reference track it has learnt....

    You mentioned that the LUF meter should be a future addition to the plugin Master Match. If used in the stand alone version of T-RackS 5 mastering suite, then you're offered all the metering tools along with the other plugins for mastering. It's a hassle, because you have to export your project, then add it to the stand alone.

    I’ll be your first comment. Lol. I tried using master match yesterday on my master fader. I could load reference tracks, but master match wouldn’t learn my source track even though it was playing. Maybe your tutorial will help me. I’ll let you know by the end of the video

    • @AudioSorcerer
      @AudioSorcerer  Před rokem +3

      If you are using it strictly for it's EQ, then I would put it first in the mastering chain. If you want to use the loudness maximizer in it then I would put it second to last. You need a true peak limiter after it.

    Ok. I think something is definitely wrong with my software. I get to the learn source part, play my song, and it endlessly says that it’s waiting for audio, where yours says “learning” while you hit play. You have this on your master fader right? I’m using “Tracks5 suite” on my master fader in pro tools and I can’t get the learn source button to listen to my song.

      @@Focused2341 you have to do it a certain way. I’ve dealt with this issue too. It’s annoying, you have to figgle with it a bit. It’s annoying but it does work.

    • @JayCasinoOfficial
      @JayCasinoOfficial Před 3 lety +7

      Here’s the trick
      If you're using Master Match in the standalone app it needs to be inserted into the processing chain before any audio passes thru it. It looks like it's already in the chain by default, but actually it'a not. Click the small rectangle icon on the right, just below the Master Match thumbnail, and the device will insert itself into the processing chain. After that you should hear through it without any problem. I can send you a video if you need help.

    • @Focused2341
      @Focused2341 Před 3 lety +1

      @@JayCasinoOfficial yeah. Took me a while to figure that out too. They should just throw it into the pool with the rest of the plug-ins and I think people will have less of a confusing time. Another thing they could do is not allow you to mess with any of the buttons on the plug-in until it’s enabled. The way they have it now isn’t obvious.
