Another fascinating video with a lot of T-Racks stuff that I've not used. I always listen on Kali Monitors and DT770/MDR7506 headphones and for me on this occasion the mastered version sounded a little brittle and pushed but it's always difficult to know how much the CZcams encoding factors into the listening experience. I always like to hear and see your thought processes. 🤝

IK Multimedia make some powerful plugins. I first only used IK Multimedia's Sample Tank 2. Then they had a huge sale and I purchased their effects plugins and their processing plugins are great. I love Modo drums and Modo Bass and I have MixBox. That T-Racks One is a beast. SampleTank 3's drum sounds are in a lot of my tracks and the James Colburn drum kit

Funny... I have T-RackS but never used these plugins like this. Just used a free Frontier on the end bus, but this is a lot more! Will try this on one of my projects. Thanks for the quick explanation of what these plugins can do!

Thanks for this. I use the TRacks plugins for mastering also. Two things of note. The TR5 Quad Image plugin is also great for converting the output to mono below 100Hz but you did not do this. Just wondered if there was any reason for not doing this. Secondly, I would also strongly recommend the TR5 Bus Compressor within your mastering chain. It can really help all tracks within the mix 'blend' together in a very musical way.
Thanks for the suggestions A A M! I typically avoid imagers and use mid-side processing instead, but this is mainly a preference. I'll have to check out the TR5 Bus Compressor!

Thanks a ton for this video. I recently took advantage of IK MM's sale. They make it a no-brainer with their offerings. Would love more on TR5. There isn't much good content on their stuff. Again thanks for all that you do with this channel.

just got the max a couple months ago and the tape collection a day ago, helluva sale on both of them. Feels like I'm stealing, they are making Reason not sound like Reason.
I only have the Classic EQ of T-Racks & the Black 76 compressor! Cuz its free one time. But hopefully I could get one of those mastering plugins from T-Racks! I know these plugins were so Amazingly Greatttt! Hahha like for real! T-Racks were unique!

The ik multimedia support is the worst. The product glitches often.
Hello, i recently got this on splice but im not sure how to open the actual suite. I can just open all the vsts seperately but not have the whole chain link thing that you have.

why do the limiter racks never EVER limit the audio properly?!?! if i set the ceiling (at the end of my chain) to -0.5 and push the signal it always breaks through and clips!!! WHY??!!
overall, i like t-racks but some things about it seem janky. where as other mastering suites do exactly what i want/need.
I'm not sure! Maybe they have more inter-sample peaking due to how they're processing transients, but again no clue.
Can we have the preset plz? Also how would you put a reverb in this preset?
why would you want to put reverb on the mastering chain ?
@@djronakdelhi in cases when all you have to work with is a single audio file.
@@EdmondMirijaj then i would suggest as reverb comes in the mixing process so it's better to put reverb before this mastering chain would be right not in between or after.
@@djronakdelhi t rack has some master presets in which he put the reverb on the mastering chain. Like after an eq. You need to eq the sound before you send it to reverb.

IK multimedia is on to some amazing!!! I choose them over izotope . Lol no offense to izotope users or the company, I just seem to prefer T-RACKS over izotope. I engineer mainly Hip-Hop and R&b fyi.
