Essentially master match EQ from IK multimedia allows you to capture the full profile of a piece of audio, What this means is the EQ and level balance across the audible spectrum.
This allows you to balance your audio in reference to something that already sound superb in a number of situations helping you ensure your audio will too sound great.
The Master Match module is an entirely new type of plug-in that automatically matches the sound of your songs with up to 3 different source tracks used as a reference.
Master Match calculates the spectral balance and perceived loudness of the reference tracks, analyzes them using highly sophisticated algorithms and then creates an exact match for your source mix, providing an editable ultra-high quality EQ curve and level adjustment. This can be achieved using Master Match as a stand-alone processor or at the end of a pre-existing processing chain, making it perfectly suitable as a powerful mixing tool.

I haven’t no. I do think I have anything that hasn’t been remastered to hand apart from maybe some Hendrix from the 1960s I could try

My problem is that I have no idea how to choose reference tracks.
you want something that you know sounds incredible everywhere and to you has a brilliant mix. I use Dr Dre Still Sre alot and Pendulum - Plastic World to.

You want to use a song that sounds very close to your song. Say your song is hip hop with heavy sub bass. Find another commercially released hip hop song thats similar with heavy sub bass and other instruments. THATS THE REFRENCE TRACK.
You will find most well mixed tracks that translate well regardless of genre follow a very similar balance too

Yeah, having vocals for example makes this plugin shine, it really puts the vocals in the right place that makes the track feel finished. If someone were to look at just this tutorial, they would think the plugin is subtle as far as color goes. It’s definitely not subtle lol, it completely changes the stage and the way all the elements sit. It’s truly great. But the video was great too.
