Ap malphite is unironically good tho, the new ap items gives you both a lot of ap and hp/resistances plus a while ago they buffed zhonyas so you won’t loose as much ap for going that instead of actual tank items. You’ll be decently tanky while still have more than enough damage to at least one shot the adc

Rav is the only content creator that i never skip on ads, people in marketing should watch Rav vids to see how a good ad is made.
To be fair, his ads are very unprpffessional and would get him in some massive PR drama if he was doing this for any other reason than his well established salt ridden youtube channel. On that same note, if he ever changes his ad style i will cry.

loved this Rav, i use to play Malphite jungle only and do the same thing you did in this video (hyperfocus kill the adc with ult). The difference is, back in the day the adc actually meant something and if u made them useless you won every game lol.

I may or may not have waited for ADC’s exclusively in jungle or lane to come farm just to drop tibbers on then and dip.

Rav, I used to agree with you. But actually having escaped pisslow now, Adc is the second most impactful role in the game. To prove this look at higher elo (high plat low dia) and look how many games are a bot diff. The role has a lot of impact, its just that when you are losing as adc, the impact of the other winning adc is so sufficiently large that it feels hopeless.
Maybe its more of a "Rav playing ADC" problem then, cause impactful is not how I describe myself in games

You are not wrong issue is that crushing majority of players are in the elo where the role just doesn't work. Which IS a problem given that the idea of bottom with sup+carry is so entrenched by both Riot and the community that you risk someone at best dodging or just feeding/griefing since early game.

I like to play ADC... it's always very fun and hard af because you deal less dmg than a tank, tank less than a minion :D no mobility vs a lot of champs that are full of it... I know this role is very hard to balance because in competetive players protect the carry so he can do his job..... but in soloQ its a diferent reality, no one cares about... so I found that playing ADC in solo have a different meaning and instead of being a carry you must play as a bait for the enemies trying to kill you so that your tank can kill him..... so maybe the real name for ADC should be ZADB (Zero Attack damage bait)
Pretty much. If the enemy is so focused on killing you then being bait for your team to clean up is pretty good strategy.
The downside? When the enemy blows all their Cooldowns on you but your full hp, tanky no cooldown allies just run away.

I've taken a genuine liking to your bot veigar strat Rav. It's so much easier to play than any piss poor of a marksman and satisfying when I can ctrl+alt+delete the ADTrashcan
If you like one shotting ADC's and want to do it before 6. Pantheon ADC is great for that. As soon as you hit 3, anytime a ADC walks up to farm you W onto them get their summs. Then when they walk up again they die.
I am a support main and it's painful to see ADC mains leaving the bot lane. Most of the time I queue up, I either get a player who asks if he can get other roles or I get an ADC who is not familiar with the definition of last hitting. (lowelo ofc) I kinda like support because it's a strategic lane regarding initiating, protecting and vision. But how do you support someone who hates the lane he plays and we both know it's not his fault and he has legit reasons to do so. Riot made almost impossible to carry a game from bot lane.
Edit: I do not play these burst mage suports as I don't want to validate Riot's decisions of fucking up bot lane with pro statistics.
What's even worse is that whenever I play adc, my support is not capable of helping me out. Either due to skill issues which is understandable or due to strategies where the enemies straight up focus the adc and no one is able to peel or help. I love the role and I've played both support and adc - I still prefer adc out of everything. But it's not rewarding and I feel like besides the good ol' "git gud", there is nothing I can really do to try to prevent myself from getting oneshot or to at least catch up to be somewhat relevant
@@AstervoidHestray best option for that would be to take runes that either reduce the amount of gold required for your build (magical footwear) or runes that reward you for still being a team player regardless of how the game is going (bounty thing in red tree drawing a blank here). Magical footwear plus the shop thing is an easy way to inflate your early game so you arent that far behind come mid. Also allows for some more mistakes to be made while still keeping you on par gold wise due to how pacing normally goes.
I also noticed that Riot wants you to play poke ADCs. With that bullet rune (don't remember the name) you can do sudden bonus damage and get more gold. I would say it's for burst, but an ADC cannot burst until fed or 3-4 items. So that might be a good option against troll lane partners. That way you can get free boots or free Stopwatch.
@@balintszabo592 I've played enough Ezreal for now (have been maining Ezreal and Xayah) and the poke rune isn't that viable. Poking is sadly not an option when I need to try to stay alive and get some minions. I'd take a 1 v 2 botlane over having an afk support who keeps dying, I won't lie :

When i first saw priority queue i thought it was so mains of that role could be guaranteed that role. Cause i first saw it on mid and you don't want a new mid player on your team.
I am ADC main. In my provs. OK. So I was 1W 4L and I am like eff this gonna go mid. 19 / 6 / 7, 7.4 CS per minute.
One enemy Yi, won the game for them because my team was too scared to engage. We had a Mundo btw. And a Blitz.
what can your team do against a lategame Yi? If enemy Yi has more than 2 braincells he will know when to engage and your team basically doesn't have any good cc to lock Yi down unless you pla a heavy CC midlaner but i doubt that because your KDA screams assassin mid

@@Shurikinnn 1 knockup isn't enough, assuming that Blizt uses his Q to assassinate someone on the other team. You only know the opposite has Yi, what are the others? It's a 5v5, all he told us is his KDA, we don't know anything about the other team. in soloQ there are many matchup that can end with 1 or 2 team combat. Unless we know the detail of that match, it's hard to believe that Yi can carry the whole game, again, i'm assuming that op isn't in Silver

5:30 ADC blindness is way too real of an issue. It's actualy so bad that after clearing my jungle, I usually ward their gank bush for them and guess what? Yeah they still push even though Rengar is clearly visible on the map and they just couldn't even look at the map.
Push the lane and you get ganked and die. Sit under tower and you get ganked and die. Be visible on the map and you die. The adc life.
As a blue Kayn enjoyer, adc blindness is always welcome and keeps me playing the game even though my champion is quite unviable this meta lol.

Last season I spammed tank veigar bot lane, and would tell the enemy ADC to ditch the role every time I one shot them with my ult. Then I quit playing league because I don't want to play mages
fed darius main here aka "your worst nightmare' when im not dunking sad squishy adcs ive actually been having a lot of fun playing one. Ezreal with a stupid build that somehow works and i want you to try my own flavor of twinklesh!t. start off with tear into ravenous hydra for healing and waveclear. then go manamune. here things get weird. you go liandries to make w and r pop and the burn plus the extra mana on your q will burn them alive. your ult will clear the entire wave minus canon minions and your cooldowns become so low your q is up faster than you can auto attack once you are full build. after liandries go whatever you want. lichbane, nashors tooth, grudge, axiom arc, even the coveted zhonya's hourglass. the wold is your oyster. dont have to worry about them building against you since you are hybrid. and the cooldown on your e is very low so its easy to stay alive. and other than the tear start you arent even that weak early and scale like a beast. id love to see you give this stupid build a try. its a lot of fun, enjoy

Personally i think the biggest problem is xp share. You can flame horizon the bot lane and still be 3 lvls behind solo laners. Junglers ganking at lvl 2 while ur lvl 1 sucks. Same with solo laners being lvl 6 while your lvl 4. Stomp lane and take tower early? Your midlaner will spam ping and steal cs when you lane swap. Get behind and try to catch up by taking jungle camps? Riot said fuck you dont touch the jungle, but ofc the jungler can tax your lane. I shouldnt have to eat, sleep, and shit together with my supp to have any impact in the game.
the problem with adc is that it's a super team reliant role. And being reliant on your team isn't the best idea when you're in shitpiss dogelo

ADC is irrelevant because they are squishy and focus on dealing consistent damage while the game has favored bursting for a long time now so they die too fast to do any meaningful damage no matter how fed in lower elos because you cant rely on a team to protect you

ADCs need some kind of fine tuning to fix the role down there bot. Just adding more mana Regen and DMG onto items probably isn't the pro play Rito needed to do to make it less hell of an experience.

Playing any marksman champ is like putting a 'kill me' sign on you. People will try so hard to murder your backside cause they know that if they can get on you, you will explode violently. Ah well that's the price one pays when you have to go full damage or be a joke since marksman abilities are...meh most of the time so autos are all you got.

Playing league is like going to a party in the way that you get too drunk there. So you take the fun you could have on the next day and have all of it at the party, being hungover the next day. Same with league, if one team has fun, the other doesn't get to. Simple as that.

So just some thoughts, if the enemy was smart they would play under tower and freeze it there so you couldn't dive them. You really want to crank this up, duo with a Jungle twitch. Jungle gets more gold and exp thus your 'adc' will be ahead of theirs just by not playing bot. Then just have them keep ganking bot over and over and watch them cry.

First game today and I already felt like breaking the monitor. I pick Lucian, jungler camps botlane, Sion pushes toplane. My problem is not being oneshot anymore but what the fuck is Sion autoing me once with heartsteal and bam 80% of my HP gone, Diana didn't even try she just ulted me and 2.5k dmg 😂
That’s why even if your like 5/0 solo lane can still crack you so you still can’t be alone even then
