If you kill after dying its more ap than the other strter items. And the point of the build/runes is gold efficency so when ya sell it, you're getting more value off it
especially with that playstyle..normally you could get some stacks after death, but with those proxy plays it's idiotic.

@@LliterallyTheMoon It's a hook item. If quinn refuses to engage and kill him (like he needs her to) he gets fed by kill/ assists.
Then he snowballs beyond control.
Now quinn MUST take every fight and remove him from his proxy farming etc etc, or else.
There is a bug where you can in base sell you item get cdr item unmake and do full dmg with your items, keep your items and get your ult on a much lower cooldown. That combined with First Strike is really nice

9:56 Just mentioning how much cdr zed can get now, like he did 3Q 2W 3E 1R in less than 10sec whitheout even needing to wait to recharge energy. The guy is hella good but this also bullsht.
yep, remember the days when a zed player had to carefully chose between poking his opponent and last hit minions ? nowadays dude can poke u with his full combo, dosent matter he can do the same in 5 seconds
Thing is his e recharged his energy because enemies got hit by 2 or 3 e at the time thats how he could do that as his every e was a net gain energy wise

It was definitely well placed and well played.
As a Zed main, he is very very weak early game.
If he doesn’t get lane advantage, he is basically crippled for the rest of the game unless he gets his 4 item cores: Hydra, Mythic, Black Cleaver, Armor pen % (mostly Grudge).
And Blue buff. You almost always want to have this buff late game before teamfight objectives.
You can literally 1 v 9 if you know your mechanics and position yourself before teamfights, unless they have point and click CC like Vi, Lisandra, and Malz ult.

I honestly have no clue how people lose to proxy... They WANT you to chase them! If you are playing an ad champ, get some life steal then laugh as you out sustain them while missing no minions. There is no rule that says you MUST chase anyone who is between your towers.
You also allow them to get free backs off, and not every champion has the wave clear to proxy. If you dont do something about it you just lose a lot
You are not rigth, by proxi one wave you force the enemie toplaner to tank a full wave, on the first lvls you loose a ton of hp, there are champions that are very bad at clearing waves or too squishy and you force them to back or chase you in exchange of the wave. A normal wave is around 150 gold and a kill is 300 but if you play like Bausff where he plays a sion going 1/6 his kill is not worth the wave, but you can't tank the wave due to the hp and also, if sion goes all in he one shots and he'll get a shutdown prolly worth 800 gold plus denies you wave experience and gold, and also if you decide to chase him with ur jungler, he just ults back, takes one plating and denies a wave, getting around 150 gold plus the 150 denied wave that's worth 300g and getting a free recall. This playstyle is such a master piece of makrogame that not many players can do. And still he will one shoot every squishy champion even if its underturret and take turrets with 5 basic attacks. Ez game

@@alex2005z they also allow you to get free backs off. As long as you alternate between last hitting under tower and using innate bulk and sustain to stop waves from crashing frequently, it's a free lane when someone proxies you and you know what you are doing. Also, early game, even top laners with wave clear will still run out of mana before they get items they need to continue to proxy. Which gives you time to get items to fully negate any benefit of them doing a proxy. Also, what top lane champs can't clear a wave or 3 on their own at level 1? Vayne?
The only time when proxy was a real issue was when your cs never factored into your bounty. So you could have huge amounts of farm, but the enemy would only give the smallest amount of gold possible when they were killed.

I am honestly a long time believer that karthus' best role is support. You have possibly the best level one poke in the game, and if you hit Q's you can just flash ignite under turret lvl2 and trade 1 for 1 almost every game. It's sooooooo fun.
You see the key word in that sentence is if you hit Q's. Which gets harder and harder the higher the elo. It may be fun but you won't even get to play the game if enemy adc and support know what they doing.

I'm struggling to understand why it works, but here is my best guess. Quinn is getting more gold from kills than baus because his death gold is getting constantly reset, however baus is farming better, so I think about even. Still quill is a lot stronger than the rest of bauses team so she can bully them in the mid game. I think it doesn't matter because quinn fall of hard late game, that why they won and why this wouldn't work as well in lower elo.
The key component is the pressure he puts in side lanes with his wave clear and skill mechanics.
If he pulls their whole team to him, other players get free objectives.
With Quinn, he wave clears fast and disengages fast.
Quinn gets less gold on each kill so after a while he is worth a Canon minion gold
zed solo carried that game, baus had nothing to do with it, he got lucky

if you're 4/17 and still carriable, you're probably doing something right.
He's rly not getting carried though, he provides more towards winning in this one game than anyone below diamond 2 does over the course of 10 games... he's smart but not good mechanically, which he's smart enough to recognize and know how to play around.

Rav mate, try it as supp with spell thief so your Qs give you 20 gold. With Karthus, it doesn't matter if ADC is shit, more kills for you. i've had easy carry games. when you don't have to worry about cs and have infinite poke, bot lane is yours, just don't get hooked

that is how karthus is played in arams, you just snowball on people and harass + position yourself either to harass them even more after death or to farm the coming minions so they can't get turret THOUGH after they changed the duration of its passive on arams its no longer a viable playstyle.
Some people don’t get that the point of a game is to win. Doesn’t matter how you get there. Bays had the wave control and macro knowledge to back up what is clearly a premeditated and effective strategy. The reasons it works at higher Elos and will be less good lower down, is Theo other members of your team don’t know how to capitalise on the advantages provided, they just know “walk lane, cs, positive kda” whereas the higher you go the more people can work around the unusual attack angle

You can see his gold tracker, his gold is about 20% above average consistently meaning he completes his build that much faster. And if the Quinn was that ahead, how did Baus manage to get first tower?
Yes, micro does matter (hence the Zed carry) but that's why he plays Karthus, a late game scaler. Who cares about micro when I can ult at full build for 60% before the teamfight even starts?

sometimes champs winrates get heavily biased by the flow of patches. they become normal or even stay strong, but are not broken anymore, and the winrate takes a big dip because idiots keep playing it as if it was broken...
you see that pattern it every time a broken build appear then get nerfed on hecarim.
